Thank you Frank and AAA for not knowing how to back a civic into a parking spot. Guess the curb wasn t big enough to see in your brand new dodge tow truck.. Owner Frank is washed up and unhelpful. Gave me nothing but excuses for over 2 months, never returned calls he promised to make, and upfront lied over the phone and in person. He is the REAL ISSUE, Michael the driver was very cool with me. Although how do you not see the massive curb that I was standing behind up on watching That repulsive looking lady at the front desk is a character too. Didn t even make eye contact with me the entire time I was there. She put off an angry arrogant meth addict going through withdrawls kinda attitude.. sounded like it as well. Id be mad to if I was your age working cashier at a shop like that. Shop ALSO looks pitiful, drive through the parking lot and your car will really need to go into a body shop. Thanks for the brand new fenders and $4300 check you had to write me after trying to lie and deny damages after your driver owned up to and took photos of it in front of me. You acted in bad faith and you lied to my face when I brought my car in and gave you a walk-around of the damages. You delayed the claims process on purpose and tried to initially steer me into getting my car fixed at your body shop only, which is pathetic practice for someone who has been contracted with AAA for a long long time. I may be younger than most your clients but I am not getting played by someone as sorry as you Frank. I could write an entire story about the last 2 months back and forth with Frank and AAA, but you get my point either way. PLEASE See photos for all proof, this happened on august 23rd and was not resolved until after October 23rd..*FRANKS GOT 1.5 stars on Facebook and over 90 total reviews. Called AAA for a flat tire. Ended up needing a tow and the tow truck driver from Frank's yelled at my friend and the manager at the tire shop. Chris, the tow truck driver, then threatened to fight the manager, who kept a calm composure. The tow truck driver was very disrespectful and hostile towards us and the people working at the tire shop, despite no one raising their voice to him.Before getting to the shop, he strapped the vehicle down on only one side and sped to the shop, weaving in and out of traffic. The whole altercation began because my friend asked him if he should've strapped the car on both sides. When he said said no, my friend said okay and didn't press him on it. He continued to raise his voice and that's when he threatened the manager.

Such great people and great service. It s probably embarrassing to say I ve had enough incidents to need them 3 times in the last couple between me and my son s car, but each time they gave us fast and affordable service. They even went out of their way to help a college kid who needed his car (work was done in just a few hours) and cut the price even after I protested that they deserved more. Great people there.

Mike is amazing!! He first called us and then responded very quickly when we needed a tow!! He was so polite and very very good at his job!!! His trick was so clean too, I was very impressed!! They responded from my AAA emergency roadside service call! But, I would definitely go back and inquire about automotive services just from this encounter alone!!! Thanks Mike!!! You represent this business in a very professional manner!!!

Used them only because insc company after an accident. Just rear bumper damage. Took them 3 1/2 weeks to get part after they told me 2 days. Was told repair would take 3 or 4 days. That took over 2 weeks. Now there is a strange noise coming from my trunk when I hit a bump. And they had to have left my windows down in the rain (I literally saw windows down on other cars in their lot while it was raining). I now have to have all my interior cleaned and all the mildew and mold removed. This place is disgusting in their work and work ethic. Find any other place!

Wonderful service. Turned me away because the repair would cost far more than being done at home. Gave me detailed instructions and recommendations. Even suggested another cheaper shop for paint and finish. Will absolutely come back when I have a problem.

The driver improperly strapped down my car while towing it (only strapped down one side) and drove recklessly on the way to the tire shop (speeding and weaving between cars). When we got to the tire shop I asked him why he only strapped down one side of my car and he proceeded to yell at me for telling him how to do his job . The manager of the tire shop stepped in and was also yelled at, the tow truck driver threatened to fight the manager of the shop before driving off. If I could give 0 stars I would. I m shocked they re AAA certified and I m definitely putting in a complaint to them as well.

I can not praise Ray from Frank's enough! We had hit a curb in which my car was not drivable (tire was bent) and Ray pulled up in the flatbed. From the minute he arrived until he pulled away he was supreme! He was knowledgeable, kind, patient (it definitely was not an easy tow) and did I say knowledgeable?. He was fantastic! Thank you so much for making this frustrating time bearable.

Tow truck drivers do not care about motorcyclist lives. Last night their flatbed driver decided to pull out infront of me and block all lanes of travel as I was passing spring Ave next to their shop, less than 200 feet. The driver acknowledged that I was behind him and claimed his lights made him able to do what he wanted, even if it involves taking your life.

This is a different review but still shows the CHARACTER of the people working at Franks Body Shop. My wife and I were out walking our dogs early Saturday morning when a couple of dogs got away from their handler and went after my wife and her dog. As I went to help with my dog, the two dogs turned their attention to my dog. Which was my intent. Now my dog is fending off (2) dogs and I m trying to separate them with no luck. Thankfully Ray, a driver for Franks Body Shop saw this happening as he drove by and stopped to help. Ray put himself into a very dangerous situation without hesitation. If you have ever witnessed a dog fight then you understand the situation. Ray helped me separate my dog while I took the other dog. In the process of him trying to remove my very protective and unbelievably strong dog, my dog tried to get back to me. Ray handle him until I could contain the other dog which wasn t easy because my dog started going after him because he was keeping him from coming back to the fight. I was able to get my dog from Ray before he got hurt for helping. Without Rays help I fear more damage to dogs would have happened if not killed. Ray helped when most wouldn t. He acted and put himself in harms way for others. That s the REVIEW here and when I finally was able to stop by Rays work, Franks Body Shop, to thank him personally again, he was off work. The owner Frank had heard about the event from Ray and called Ray so I could speak with him. I know I didn t put a review for services but reviewing a business and their employees CHARACTER is very important in making decisions on whether or not to use a particular business. Thank You again Ray. Thank you Frank for helping me get in contact with Ray. I guarantee my next tow or any car repair that y all provide, will be through Franks Body Shop!!!

Yesterday was a very emotional day for me, my week had started off rough and to make it even better after work yesterday my car wouldn t start! I had to call AAA, Ray was my tow truck driver. He pulled up smiling very friendly, I was going to have to be towed from largo to new port Richey which would cost me a pretty penny. Ray said let me see what I can do and before I knew it my car was running. I literally cried and hugged him! He saved the day and was such a nice gentleman five stars across the board

If I could give more then 5 stars I definitely would I recommend Frank's with any of your car needs I had my car towed by Michael dorreman he was very attentive an polite from the moment he called to let me know he was on his way to the moment he dropped my car at my house don't go anywhere else go to franks you won't regret it thank u guys Soo much

Just FYI, Ray showed Up within 30 mins, put air in all 4 of my tires (b/c car had been sitting for 8yrs) instead of dragging it, so thanks for being considerate to my vehicle and for all the help, 101 miles later and it's reached it's destination!! Thank for the Long Haul... definitely would recommend to anyone... good guys!!

After being in an accident and needing a body shop to have it my car towed to and looked at for an estimate for repair, I was referred to Frank s. We went to 4 different shops and quickly decided that John at Frank s was our choice! Nice guy, very knowledgeable and FAIR! I highly recommend Frank s to anyone in need of an honest body shop!

The negative reviews Frank s has gotten does not do the justice to the quality of service and professionalism this place provides. People always have an axe to grind and people do not get the credit they deserve. I came in and spoke with Johnny about getting my tank repaired and my whole bike painted on my 2014 Harley Superglide. Not only was the price unbeatable by any body shop period, the quality of service and timeliness of the project was superb. I included a picture just so you can see just how gorgeous it turned out. Listen if you have any doubts, just give Johnny a call and I m sure you will be happy you did.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

Ray the technician picked me up when my car needed towing and was super nice, respectful, and helpful. He got to me quick and took me safely to where I needed to go. 10/10 would recommend

Other shops were trying to total my sons truck over some minor damage. This was my father's truck that was passed down when he passed away. It's worth more to me than any amount of money and keeping it on the road was the only option i would accept. Maryann took the reigns and negotiated with the insurance company to keep it on the road. I can't thank her enough for what she did for our family. The repairs are perfect and were performed within the quoted time and budget. They even cleaned it inside and out before we picked it up. Top notch service. I am a raving fan. BTW...they have also towed my classic cars more times than I care to admit and have always handled them with care. Absolutely rude. Unprofessional. They were dispatched by AAA and told me I would have to pay a portion. I was asking for clarification and David hung up on me mid conversation. I called him back repeatedly to pay because I needed to get my car towed. He never responded. Kindness is free. If they treat people like this over the phone, imagine how you asking for detailed explanations in person, imagine how that will go. As evidenced by the reviews, this has been ongoing.Service: Car towing

Frank's did a great job painting the bed panel on my Ford F150, 2005 model and they matched the paint perfectly. I am totally impressed and happy with their work and would reccomend them to anyone. We called AAA when our vehicle's water pump went out. They dispatched tow truck driver, Raymond, from Frank's Body Shop. He showed up within 45 minutes, was friendly, professional, and treated our vehicle with care. Absolutely impressed with the body work they did on our sons car! Had been told elsewhere we needed an entire new panel. Franks was able to repair the damaged one and made it look new!!! If you drive too fast you might pass by this gem. Nothing sparkles on the outside, but when you retrieve your vehicle the gem glows. Pe prepared to have at least one month before they can serice you.

My entire front windshield was smashed in along with my fender and some more damage along the roof of my Pontiac. Frank returned my car looking as if there was never any damage to begin with and for the best price compared to other shops i looked at in St. Pete, 10/10 service. I have had many vehicles worked on by Frank's. Their professionalism goes far beyond what I expected. They work well with communicating time line and estimates in advance and do everything they can to adhere to that schedule. With vehicles, that can sometimes be difficult. They go above and beyond with service. I will continue to refer to them, as we have been very pleased with their work. They are fair in pricing and take care of the customer, no questions asked. Will be using them again when we need body work for any of our vehicles. Both Frank and John are hands on and make sure things are done right. Thank you for running a great, honest business for the customer. We appreciate what you do.

Great work. Frank's has repaired my RAV4. I had a nice experience with John (owner) and team; friendly, courteous and professional. Although it has ended up a little bit over my budget but quality of work and completed of the job on schedule is worthwhile.
