Love, love, love this little shop! So convenient. I drop my car off in the early morning before work and they call when ready for pick up. They are efficient and ALWAYS quote lower price than other shops I do my research! Priceless to have a mechanic you can TRUST!

Needed a new radiator after a fender bender, called first thing in the morning. Drove down there and they got right to work, fixed everything up for a very fair price and I was on my way in a few hours. Good experience and nice people.

I came in with a leaking exhaust system and they diagnosed and repaired it in less than an hour, so I had them throw in an oil change as well!! Very satisfied! Thanks

He attempted to rip off my grandmother. She s 82! Fortunately something didn t feel right to her and she had the presence of mind to call my husband. He told her to leave and took her to another shop and gave them George s diagnosis of the car. This mechanic laughed. Said it was several hundred dollars of extra repairs the car absolutely did not need. He also said it was far from the first time someone had come into his shop seeking a second opinion after Clearwater Muffler tried to scam them.You ve got to be lower than low to try to screw over an elderly woman.

George and his team are the best. Dealership wanted $4,000 to replace a catalytic converter on one of our Nissans. Clearwater Muffler and Brakes got it done for less than 1/2. I'd give 6 stars if I could

Hate writing bad reviews but this was just egregious. Dramatically overcharged me for a tune up (change of spark plugs, that was it!) then soon after my check engine light came back on and the engine was acting exactly the same as before I had brought it in. Took it to another shop and they said the spark plugs had not been properly installed.I also had an air conditioner issue that I said I believed was the compressor. He told me that he recommended a more intense charging of the system. I said I had already had that done and it didn t work, the AC still came out barely cool. He insisted his charging machine was different. Well, no it wasn t. And actually afterward my A/C was coming out even warmer. I took it back and he didn t even acknowledge that he had not listened to me and performed and unnecessary service, just said oh yeah it s the compressor and told me he d subtract the $200 from the cost of a new compressor. I called three other shops and their estimate for a compressor was FOUR hundred dollars less than his. So he just worked the price I had already paid for the unnecessary service (and then some) into the cost of the compressor. Shady business all around.

This company was so nice, professional, and had a family type of atmosphere. They knew exactly what was wrong with my car while on vacation there and was quick to fix! Definitely recommend!

Got the exhaust system replaced on my 2009 Honda for about half the price a well regarded local mechanic quoted me. Not sure why the local mechanic was so high, but these folks were right on the money and did the job quickly with no issues. I was in and out in about an hour. I couldn t believe how quickly they worked.

Doesn't put customer first likes money more than people. Did the job wrong and then charge me more to fix it terrible job Never go there

Been there a few times, I LOVE George, he is one of a dying breed, Honest, TRUST Worthy, hard working, no bs shop owner.Geroge was able to quickly diagnosed my problem and fixed it for a very easonable price. George is also very tech savvy, hooked up his machine to my car and reset a bunch of errors and explained what caused the errors. He really is one of a kind.Services: Exhaust, Brakes, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Awesome experience. Techs were cool to talk to . Owner was cool, he understood what I needed done and did not overcharge for it. I got quoted double the price. I don't know what else to say....thank you

Mavis Break & Tire was going to charge me about $2000 to fix a knocking sound coming from the bottom of my car. Said I needed new struts and something else which I can't remember.On the advice of a friend I took it into Clearwater Muffler. They inspected it and found that my heat shield had broken loose and was resting directly on the exhaust pipe which, when it vibrated against the shield, made the clanging noise. $20 later and my problem was solved!Careful though. Based on this experience, I called them subsequently thinking I'd get a very competitive price for an oil change. They quoted me $60, which was right up there with many of the other big chain places. I searched and eventually got a Groupon for under $20 with Auto Tender Care, so your mileage may vary depending on the type of service you need.

Excellent mechanic shop w/ Great service. George is so funny & honest. Gave me a great price to do my brakes & rotors & AC & oil change. Only took a few hours too. If people could be 1/2 as happy as George, the world would be a much better place.

Great service and price. I called the day before and was told to be here when the shop opened at 8 a.m. and they'd get me in. Sure enough, when I arrived a few minutes before 8, the owner (George) had the shop opened and was out front waiting for his team to arrive. After assisting a passing bicyclist fill his low front tire with air from the shop's compressor, my vehicle was on the rack, diagnosed with 2 exhaust disconnections and a failing muffler. About 90 minutes later I was out the door at a price less than 50% what I was quoted at one of the local muffler repair franchises. I cannot recommend Clearwater Muffler & Brakes highly enough.If you don't live in Clearwater (like I do not), it's worth the drive. THANK YOU CLEARWATER MUFFLER AND BRAKE!!!

These guys were great, saved my sanity when Hyundai had over a week to get me in for warranty work. Said screw it I'll pay to get it fixed they fixed my muffler in under an hour and also did a tire rotation and oil change in that hour as well and don't screw me on price. When my car started sounding like a motorcycle I called around for prices for muffler repair. Other shops quoted me $200 without even asking what was wrong with my car. Clearwater Muffler told me I might not need a new muffler and to bring my car in for a quick inspection. I was in and out in 30 minutes with muffler repaired, and saved over $100 on what other shops would have charged me! Great honest place! I highly recommend this place if you have any exhaust issues.Service: Exhaust

Came in with a small exhaust leak on the passenger side of my 04' GMC. They diagnosed it quickly as a bad donut at the header connection and replaced it with a new one, as well as a new one on the driver side since it was already on the lift and exhaust needed disconnected on both sides anyhow. Great service and fair pricing on the repair. Would/will recommend these guys to anyone needing auto service done.

George the owner worked around my busy schedule. When I finally took my Jeep Wrangler in for service, he and his 2 awesome mechanics were impeccable with their customer service and knowledge of how to install a 3" suspension lift on my Jeep.The installation of parts on my Jeep took less than 3 hours and Felix and Zeppo (Mechanics)also rotated my tires, installed an interior piece, and inspected my brakes.I am extremely happy with all of the services performed and provided by Clearwater Muffler & Brake Auto Repair Shop! I am so glad that I found this place! Finally, a honest and knowledgeable mechanic! After going to several major dealerships and receiving no solutions from their mechanics, George and his team of experts quickly solved the problems with my Lincoln Navigator. Thank you for fixing problems that others couldn t! The world needs more mechanics shops like this one!
