Not such a good experience, the price on the phone was 251 for cash and the next day it was 328 and the lady tried to explain but diferent then one day before.I still agreed on the repairs with 280 after we renegotiate but the sad thing was that they did only half of the job because the screws are too tight and I paired 160 for half of the job done, after I picked my car I had a noise in my wheels but I went to another shop and the guy changed the remaining parts in half hour with no problem and 50$ cash on the spot.Not a good experience.PS record your conversation for safety, it might help.

After having a bad experience with a different shop in the area months ago, I was so glad I found this place later that day and they were able to repair my car for a much better price and negotiate with me. Sunny, Troy, and Kevin have been great to work with and will always fit me in, answer the phone after hrs etc. I feel this is an honest mechanic you can trust and they are now my go-to

We had driven down for several weeks from our home in NC in our Ford F-150 truck. Around noon on the Friday before labor day we got in the truck to run some errands and discovered the front passenger door would not latch when closed, the door just swung freely. We called every local Ford dealer only to be told that we could drop off the truck and they "might" be able to diagnose the problem by Tuesday or Wednesday - one said it would be 3 weeks before they could see us despite this obviously being a significant safety issue. We then called Affordable Auto Care - Troy was honest and said if we dropped it off, he would try to get it in that afternoon but couldn't promise as they were very busy. He committed that it would be looked at by Monday (Labor Day) and if possible fixed that day, but that would depend on what parts might be needed and if he could get them on Labor Day. Long story short, a part that he could only get from Ford was needed and they were closed on Monday. Troy got the part first thing Tuesday morning and had our door fixed by noon and all a very reasonable price. Throughout, Troy was calling to keep us updated on the issue, on the need to wait for the Ford to open to get the part. He even had someone waiting at Ford before they opened to get the part as fast as possible. All in all, excellent communication, superior service, and we had our truck fixed before any of the Ford dealers would have even seen it. We highly recommend bringing all of your auto/truck repair needs to Affordable Auto Care!

This place is amazing!!! Sunny is great. I haven't been able to find an honest mechanic shop until now. I'm so glad I called this place. I will definitely be back for any future service needed on my truck. Great service, GREAT prices, and honest. There was a problem with the repair which can easily happen and they handled it above board under Full warranty and went a little farther is than an extra mile to fix Everything!!! I would use them again definitely.

I first went to this shop when I had a check engine light on. Since then I have gone back numerous occasions when other things that I needed done on my car. It s so wonderful to find a shop that isn t out there to just take your money, but try to find a solution without digging a huge hole in your wallet! They don t just fix the problem but they listen to you and pay attention to what you have to say. Which is huge for me! They are fast, but efficient, friendly , knowledgeable, and definitely reasonable with Prices. I brought in my newly purchased Nissan Leaf with an ABS light on. Not only did they diagnose the issue for FREE, but Sunny (sp) also spent time explaining the issues and provided helpful recommendations to get the necessary work completed. This is the third time, we have used Affordable Auto and Truck Repair. They are honest. After looking over our vehicle, they told us what needed to be repaired. They did not try to add items, or get money for repairs that were unnecessary. They were very efficient, and on point with price and completion. the guys who work here are great at what they do. I came to them to get my compressor fixed under my car dealership warranty. Troy took care of the entire thing & even spend hours on the phone negotiating with my warranty company to make sure that I had the most affordable price & my car back as soon as possible(as he knows I have children & need a vehicle) They even threw in a desperately needed free oil change. I can t thank them enough. This is my new favorite spot to take my car & i will be recommending all of my friends & family to come here. Honest and fair dealing from the good people at Affordable Auto they really do value their customers and they will not take advantage of you. You can just tell that they are a family operated business that stays true to their core values. They fixed my truck up perfectly and for a great price. Very thankful for them! The tech did a fantastic job diagnosing and repairing the brakes on my wife's 2016 Honda CR-V. It turns out that whoever did the brakes for the previous owner did them wrong and Affordable Auto and Truck Repair was able to diagnose and fix it VERY quickly. No more squeaky brakes and no more tire sensor light.Great service, great price!Thanks to all of you! Will definitely come back with all my vehicles.

I absolutely love this shop! Everyone there is friendly and thoroughly explains the issues that are wrong with your vehicle. They are extremely knowledgeable and efficient. Prices are very reasonable! I've had my vehicle taken to three different mechanics and no one seemed to know what was wrong with my car. After an hour of my car being here at this location, Sunny called me and explained exactly what was wrong! Their mechanics are top notch and work in a timely manner. I will continue to come to this shop if I need any work done to my car. Kudos to you guys for being so awesome!

DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP!! My son dropped off his 2002 GMC Yukon because it was stalling on him. They charged him $100 for a diagnostic check. The shop called him and stated that his fuel pump module needed to be replaced and that it would cost $1,100 plus taxes. My son told them that he didn't have the money to do that work and would be picking up his vehicle. A few minutes later the shop called him back and stated that he should have them replace the fuel filter because that may solve his problem. At this point I called the shop to ask them why they charged $100 for a diagnostic if they were not sure what the was causing the stalling problem. The guy I spoke with said they charged $100 because they have to charge for working on the vehicle. To which I again asked the guy why did you tell my son he needed to a fuel pump module and then call him back to tell him that he should replace the fuel filter as this may fix the problem? He could not tell me other than to state that based on his experience stalling problems were 94% of the time caused by a bad fuel pump. We took that vehicle home to do replace the fuel filter ourselves and in watching a youtube video saw that a mechanic changed the fuel pump relay before changing the fuel filter. So we bought the fuel pump relay and fuel filter. We changed the fuel pump relay first and that fixed the problem!! Two days later, my son's A/C is not working. DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP. THEY ARE NOT HONEST AND APPARENTLY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!

I needed to get a new timing belt for my car because it was 60,000 over the recommended mileage. Let's be honest...it was only a matter of time before it broke. After doing some research in the area (I just moved from out of state), I had called 13 different auto repair places to get estimates on how much it will cost to fix. Peterson's was the lowest, best reviewed, and had a 2 year warranty with their service!! Deal! The estimates were anywhere from $550-$1000+ . When I called for the estimate and to make the appointment they were so nice and polite on the phone and could get me in the next day! I was shocked. Dropped my car off in the morning and they had it ready by the end of the day! Super quick, friendly, and they have adorable pups in the waiting area that are so sweet! I felt comfortable chatting while waiting for my uber and knew my car was gonna be in good hands! All in all, I got a new timing belt and water pump for $550, same day service, and they followed up the following days to see how my car was doing! I would highly recommend Peterson Auto & Truck to anyone! They will be my go to auto repair shop!

I normally never write reviews. But this place is "TOO GOOD" not to take few minutes of my time to rave about the awesome service and repair job they did on my car. When I arrived, I was greeted by Kevin and a very friendly dog. Within a few minutes, Kevin gave me an estimate; he explained to me what needed to be fixed. He offered to give me an AAA discount, and on top of that he gave me a Military discount. I was very happy with the customer service they provide. One of their friendly dogs kept me entertained while I waited on my car. And when I got my car back I was amazed at what a great job they have done. The next day, I received a text message from Kevin asking if I had made it to work safe or if the car was giving me any problems. They are very professional and have excellent customer service skills. Thank you to Peterson and Auto Truck for not putting a big dent in my wallet and making my car run smooth again.

This place doesn't deserve to be in business not alone a 1 star. I'm fair and square when it comes to reviews. My wife who works at the hospital and on her way to work was having car issues. The car wouldn't shut off even with the keys out. I have to run out of my office to get her car in for checkup. Took the car to the shop and asked them nicely to borrow or have them disconnect the battery for me. This can be done with a $1 tool. I have to get back to the office as I was in the middle of a meeting with the CEO and don't have time to talk about repair at that moment. Not only did they not offer to help, they said it's not worth their time and left me hanging. I moved the car down the road to a better parking spot and a good citizen helped me unplug the fuel pump and ignition relay. Which took him literally 10 seconds. If a repair shop can't help with someone so simple even I can do with a $1 tool then they don't deserve to get anyone else business. Stay away from this place.

Trustworthy auto repair shops are hard to come by and I'm glad I found this place! I've been to Affordable Auto roughly 5 times (since it was Peterson Auto) and I won't take my car anywhere else. I came in for a head gasket and brake system inspection and thankfully they pointed out a couple of other major items I was unaware of. I opted to repair all of the recommended items, was given a fair price after some discussion, had my car back in a couple days, and couldn't be happier! They issue a 2 year warranty on all labor which is awesome!!Thanks Kevin and good luck at the track! Would love to see some of your times if they're online.

My husband and I took our f150 truck to Affordable auto and had the engine replaced. We went solely on reputation and reviews and were very glad we found them. We were so pleased with the quality and the price of the work. The staff is great, very friendly and most importantly very knowledgeable. We will continue to take our cars and trucks to affordable auto as well as recommend them to our family and friends.

Man this guy was GREAT!!!! I mean that in every sense of the word. He gave great advice and does awesome work. I had a starting problem with a 96 Honda Accord and he took care of it with no problems. He definitely reminds me of the ole' school auto shops who weren't all about the money. They were all about the customer. And this guy shows that. I'm new to Florida and I've looked into a few other auto repair shops. Well this shop takes the cake. Even hooked me up with a towing company. All work on ALL of my cars not done by me will definitely be done by him.Strong Work!!!

I heard about Peterson's Auto from a mail flyer. They have good prices and coupons are always available which is nice and is one the reasons I went there to get my oil changed.They provided good customer service, a detailed follow up on recommended work to be done, and pricing before I left. Downfall is the oil change and waiting for follow up/pricing took 2 hours. Improvement area would be keeping the interior of my car clean, free of oil/dirt. Overall service was good and everyone was friendly!

I would highly recommend using this company for your auto needs. They kept me updated as to my car repair, communicated what they ve found & repair options. For starters, from the time I booked my appointment to the time I walked out was all around great. Sunny was pleasant and just as bright as her name. Kevin was right on point when it came to my vehicle. My price was reasonable, it wasn't the cheapest around (as I did check out their competition)but at the same time, you pay for what you get. the warranty on my parts is well worth the extra couple of dollars. This office has a great team I would and do recommend them to anyone who may need any type of service repair or even just a simple oil change.

I am a young female with no car knowledge. After relocating to Clearwater, I began to experience engine issues. I did some research, and selected Peterson Auto based on the location and great reviews.I dropped my car off prior to a business trip. I was greeted by Kevin, who was very patient while I explained everything going on with my engine. He gave me his card and promised to keep me posted while I was away. After determining the issue with my engine, he called me and explained everything in straight forward terms, and broke down my potential repair bill. He was extremely thorough and I was able to understand what the issue was with my engine. My car was repaired before I returned home, and my car is running great!!I plan to trust Peterson Auto for all my future car needs. The staff was wonderful, they are honest, and they do great work!!! Being in a new city and encountering car issues is very stressful. I am very happy that I found this mechanic.

Took a chance working with Peterson's truck and auto and was surprisingly happy with my entire experience with them. They were personable on the phone and in person and did a quality job for a good price. My clutch went out on my car and they had a new one installed in a day. The guys there are great!

I truly loved the service I received. Craig and the Team are so honest and humble and really care about the type of service they are rendering!!! They are passionate about making sure anything and everything with your car whether new or old is at it's BEST!! I went to them for the first time just last week and just for some basic service and not only did they do a good job they kept in touch with me every touch of the way and let me know everything else "Safety Wise" that needed to be done and I'm now a life long Customer of theirs I wouldnt trade them for anyone!! They cared more about my car than the lot I purchased it from. I highly HIGHLY RECOMMEND that if you do not know of any other company you want to take your car to, do not hesitate, do not even think about it - just think about Peterson Auto & Truck you are seriously in good hands and besides they have a A+ rating with BBB. IT doesn't get any better that that!! Thank you Craig and the Team you guys rock!!!

Having no prior car problems and even going to get my car maintenanced at another auto shop only weeks before, my car ended up breaking down on I-275. I had my car towed here, never having heard of the place before. I had to drop it off at Peterson afterhours and Kevin called me within a few hours the next day, knowing what was going on with my car. Turns out it was recall problem that was 100% covered by my dealer. Kevin went through the trouble of tracking down the number for me to call for free roadside assistance from my dealer and he spoke to the people at my dealership to tell them what was going on with my car and to expect me to come. He even offered to accommodate my schedule for when I'd come pay my very minimal diagnostic fee. If I was running late or early, he told me to just let him know when to expect me. He and Bob even checked in on me after I picked up my car to make sure everything was fixed. They went above and beyond the call to take care of me! I'm very grateful that I stumbled upon a shop that cares about quality, courteousness, and taking care of their customers even if it doesn't mean they make big bucks off of it (which they definitely could of, if Kevin didn't take the time out of his schedule to do a little research and learn that I could get the work done for free at my dealership). All the people working here were very friendly and welcoming, and it's obvious they really care about their customer service. I highly recommend taking your car to be maintained or fixed by these good, honest, hardworking people.
