Hands down the best auto repair place I've ever used. They are thorough and do a really great job- and the biggest plus- I can trust them to tell me what is wrong with my car and am charged a very fair price.

Recently had my 2017 Audi A4 a/c compressor and system replaced.They did a bang out job at a reasonable priceI would highly recommend to give them a chance to review your car issue and go from there !

Today was our first experience using this business. I would give it an A++++++++!!!! They now have us as a customer for life. Totally happy with the service. This place is absolutely amazing! The people here are super nice and very accommodating. Gene's auto is definitely one of the very rare mechanics left out there that won't rob you blind and are straight up with you and won't tell you that you need something when you don't. This is where you should definitely be taking all of your mechanic needs to! Very happy we found this place!

If you have an older car this is definitely the place to bring it. These gentlemen are mad geniuses when it comes to the nuances and intricacies of a carbureted machine.

I have been taking my cars to Gene's for several years and the mechanics really know how to keep my cars purring. They do not shy away from the older cars and they are honest, knowledgeable and fair. A great place for all of your automotive needs!

Always reliable and honest service. Kenny s professional, trusted and knowledgeable. He really knows what s he s doing. Recommend this place highly for any vehicle repair needed. So if you re looking for someone to be straightforward with you, and a mechanic who s not gonna sell you things just to make extra commissions or money this is the place to go.

I called because I have a simple job for a exhaust tip swap that I need done as I live very close I called. As soon as it was determined my car was not domestic and is European the man on the phone who did not introduce himself said "I won't work on European cars." Very rude. I had to ask if I could bring just a muffler to his shop off of the car and he replied "I would consider it." I decided to find someplace else.Do not come to this shop unless you're in the domestic car club, or just don't come here at all. *later edit*below my post the owner, possibly Gene who has still not introduced himself, replied to my review saying that I must have thought it was rude to "not get the answer I'm looking for" and that's a cop-out. The person who answered the phone did not introduce himself, was unhelpful, and his tone of voice was that of disgust only after i mentioned what make the car was that the muffler was affixed to. It's fine that you don't want to work on my car because "Oh Emm GEEZ! It'z Ze Germanz!", but lets be real. All that I needed was a STRAIGHT MUFFLER TIP CUT OFF AND A TURN DOWN WELDED ON. If you can't perform a simple job like this, don't make excuses that the car is not domestic. Just say that you can not do it. Don't act smug\rude on the phone about the make of my car and that you'll only work on domestics. No apology until I call you out publicly. I had just moved here and I had planned on calling your shop for whatever needs I have in the future due to your close proximity and being a local business. With an attitude like this I will have to pass; I suggest that everyone else does as well. Good day./Second editI've been seeing numerous imported non-domestic vehicles being worked on and whomever replied deleted their reply. Way to go, Gene.

I used Gene's Auto for 20 years and have always felt they are the most honest garage around. I moved to Pa. I asked them to get my car ready for inspection in Pa. It passed w flying colors. It is a 98 Ford Escort. Any woman can walk into this garage and be assured she will not get ripped off

Description Of Work:In detail? He checked the thingy-m-bobber and changed the whatcha-m-call it. Just happy it didn't turn out to be the $400 W**!!!???And my car is now reliably on the road.Member Comments:Had my car in and out in one day. I was worried the bill was going to be outrageous...it was very reasonable. My car had been sitting for a while and I made the mistake of going to another mechanic...NEVER AGAIN! There is a lot left to be done, but Gene's Auto mechanics are the only people who will work on this car again. They are not cheap, but they are reasonable and when they fix it...it's fixed.

Great service for my car! The price was almost $100 less than in other places. They are near my location and always explain in details what is happened with your car and what need to be fix.

Small town type shop. There guys have been around and know what they are doing. Honest here. Company I work for brings out fleet vehicles to him. Prices are more than fair.

Trustworthy mechanics with an old school vibe. I feel like when I walk in I am welcomed, and they appreciate car talk as well. The mechanics will also go out of their ways to assist all your problems.

Paid over $1,000 for a new AC compressor, it never ran more than 3 months....2 more replacements later, still had problems due to a poor installation.....they refused to repair and said I would have to take them to court to get my money back...had to pay another shop to find out the orfice was blocked with metal shavings....I guess it's hard to warranty bad workmanship......The shop I had to pay to correct the problem said Gene's never flused the system, due to the amount of shavings blocking the orfice....Now the system runs great....should've gone to a professional shop in the beginning!!!! It would've saved me money!!!!

Before even allowing me to explain that I m a veteran utilizing VA funding for car repairs he said he wasn t interested and hung up on me. Not interested fine, but don t be rude. It s a government program.
