I have a Ford F150 that I have had a grinding noice in the front end for over a year . I took it to Coconut Point Ford dealer they test drove it & said it was my upper control arms & charged me over 1200.00 to fix - when I got it back I still had the noise. Than I took it to Naples Ford dealer , they said it was the brakes - still not fixed . So I took it to AAMCO on Burnwood in Bonita ,( it was the 4 wheel drive pressure seals ) received my truck back today & guess what no noise !!! I m very happy with the knowledge and service they provide @ a far price .

Do not recommend this shop or employee by the name of Kevin. Was super disrespectful over the phone and refused to call back when he said he would. When I finally got ahold of him, he told me he would not work on my transmission (MT-82) which is one of the most common transmissions in the country. He then continued to say I would get into big trouble and wouldn't delve into what he meant by that. All in all super disrespectful and wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Kevin and his team--bless them! They went over and above to diagnose and replace the automatic transaxle module in one of our cars. The part was so scare and took some time but he did it and the car now works amazing. Drives better than ever! Thank you so much AAMCO Bonita and Kevin/Todd for the wonderful service, keeping us abreast on updates and doing a wonderful job at a fair price. We look forward to serving our cars when needed again!Service: Oil change

Very professional! Kevin and Todd are great. I needed a clutch and fly wheel for my 2005 Nissan Xterra and it feels like driving a newer vehicle. I will always call AAMCO -Bonita Springs

They totally took advantage of my elderly parents. Charged them 1700.00 for front brakes . On a 2012 Toyota corolla. Called my 88 year old mom .told her that the master cylinder went out while they were working on it. Told her it's normally 1200.00 to replace it. But since they were working on it when it failed. It would only be 600.00. It's a 70.00 item that has 2 bolts and 2 hoses on it .20 minutes to complete. Don't trust this place.Service: Brakes

I was told by AAMCO Bonita I needed a new transmission or to sell the car. They told me it wasn t bringing up any codes even though the Automatic Transmission light kept coming on every time the transmission started acting up.The AT light kept coming on and the automatic transmission was slipping and skipping downshifts and banging into downshifts and upshifts. I had them change the transmission fluid and filter but it still kept happening. I was about to take their advice and get the transmission rebuilt at 117,000 miles on my babied garage kept condo car purchased new in 2006. I decided to get a diagnostic tool for myself and run codes and sure enough it said TCM not communicating. When I went back to AAMCO Bonita I asked naively what s a TMC. Purposely calling it a TMC and not a TCM. I said it s a module located underneath the battery. I was told they did not know what I was talking about. At this point I decided I would have to fix the problem myself or take it elsewhere to replace the TCM. After doing a bit of research online I found a website that gave some lengthy and tedious directions for resetting the TCM before replacing it. Well, I did it and it worked! It s been one week and the transmission shifts flawlessly no thanks to AAMCO Bonita who said it would cost around 4 grand for a new transmission.Service: Transmission

Got my transmission serviced by the rudest people I ve ever met in a professional setting. Shifting blame so they don t have to cover warranty items and now my exhaust has a very bad leak. I now have to take my truck to a muffler shop and get it repaired so I don t get cursed at again by the counter staff. (Not Kevin he was nice) Very rude people. Never doing business there again. DO NOT RECOMMEND.Service: Transmission

Went to dinner then came back to my car which was not starting. Everywhere could not take me because they had previous appointments. Called AAMCO and Kevin took care of me right away and let me tow it in same day. Kevin was very detailed and communicated with me everything I needed to know after they diagnosed the issue. Fixed it next day and I was on my way! I would definitely recommend using AAMCO if you re looking for a quick and efficient auto shop. Hope this finds you very useful!Service: Electrical

I needed a front end alignment and I had high hopes for this business since Kevin, the service manager, told me his guy had 40 years experience. On the day of my appointment, I was told his guy wasn't in yet so I would have to leave my car instead of waiting on it. Once I arrived, I heard Kevin's woe is me speech to the customer in front of me how "in the weeds" busy he was. My car is a older classic vehicle that would need some extra care and Kevin suddenly decided he didn't want to work on it. This after waiting two weeks for my appointment. Very disappoionting for what I thought was a professional shop....

An honest mechanic is difficult to find nowadays, but don't worry anymore because you've found them. Kevin, Todd, and the rest of the crew are amazing folks with integrity and the desire to do things the right way. I purchased a used car from them recently, and within a few days, some things were going wrong. We gave them a call, and they were happy to take a look at the car. They (as it says in the name) specialize in transmissions, but there was an oil leak as well. They fixed everything that was wrong without charging us for additional labor. If you need someone to trust when you need your car fixed, I highly recommend these guys.

Simply put, I trust the guys at AAMCO of Bonita Springs. I've been to their shop on multiple occasions and have always been impressed with the level of customer service they provide. You can tell when a auto shop is well run and organized... and this place is.Had a vehicle problem that I thought was going to be hundreds to fix. I don't know much about cars and they could have told me anything. It was $28 and done in less than an hour.Everyone I know that has used them (at least 5 other people) have all had great experiences. I always recommend them when I hear friends and family mention car troubles.

Had a transmission issue that the dealership told me I needed a new transmission for... and that it would cost $3200. From the symptoms and what was stated in the recommended service bulletin, I knew it didn't need a new one, so I went looking for transmission shops. I am unbelievably ecstatic that I found this place. They took their time to listen to my symptoms and what I thought the issue was, then looked themselves. From the error codes in the car's computer as well as driving it around, they recommended replacing parts of the transmission as stated in the service bulletin. The work only took a day and a half, and after completion, the car drives and shifts as it should. Price was fair and work was quality. I ll be back any time I need more work done to my car. Couldn t be happier.Service: Transmission

By far, this shop is the only place I have ever fully trusted. Their extensive knowledge and overwhelming honesty are qualities that are extremely hard to come by when choosing an auto repair shop. I recently had a unique situation with my sons vehicle that was previously repaired by two other repair shops, both whom were not being honest or fair. Tom, Todd, and the rest of the crew went above and beyond to help me get it resolved. What I appreciated most about Tom was that he communicated all of my options that would result in a solution as well as their respective costs. He explained everything in a language that was easy to understand, and didn t seem annoyed in the least with my questions (like many other mechanics). His abundance of knowledge is very clear. I truly felt they had my best interest at all times and I couldn t be more appreciative.

My experience there was nothing less than spectacular . This shop is very clean and the people are knowledgeable. My baby brother is a mechanic up north and believe me I ran everything by him about our repairs and he says the guys at AAMCO in Bonita Springs got it right. We thought the dealership should have been able to know what was wrong with our Ford Explorer but they were not able to do anything but try to sell us a new transmission. We actually had a radiator go bad and leak into the transmission. Got all the work done for much less than the dealer quote and the guys (Todd and Steve) treated me and my husband professionally and got our Explorer back when promised. Now we can drive to Virginia this Summer. Thanks guys! PS: I apologize for asking you guys about the reviews I saw but I also don't believe that you guys ever saw a "real" customer come in as a single mom to be taken advantage of. It does sound fictitious to me too. It's sad people would claim something happened and just not ask you about it. PPS: I think it's wonderful that your 73 year old mother works there with you helping with paperwork - take care.

I rarely give a recommendation, even rarest when related to mechanics. There are 2 conditions that : Knowledge and Honesty. My previous mechanic is a very good man, knows cars inside out and is very honest. But unfortunately he had to retire due to health issues, which left me with the task of having to find a new shop.I could not ask any of my friends as we shared the same mechanic, so I had to invest some time doing some research in the web.My problem was a bad A/C only blowing ambient temperature air. My previous mechanic thought it may be the evap or condenser, which meant taking out the dashboard. This is a time consuming process meaning a high labor bill, usually running up to a thousand dollars. I had no choice, the following day I was traveling across the state and needed it fixed.I thought that AAMCO of Bonita Springs only dealt with transmissions and was surprised to learn that they were recommended for A/C work as well. In my opinion, a franchise shop can be a good or a bad experience so I was a little hesitant at first, but after reading other reviews I could not find a better option.I called them up before 8am and explained my predicament and they were genuinely interested in trying to solve my problem. They said that if the problem was what I had assumed, the repair would take around 9 hours to complete. They were willing to speed things up as much as possible in order to allow me to travel the following day. After dropping the car off at their shop I returned home expecting a late afternoon call from them, but the call came in only about 2 hours later. My problem was fixed, before disassembling anything on my car they performed a leak test and found the problem immediately. They replaced a set of bad O-rings and recharged the gas, running it for some time and rechecking the gas pressure reading and cooling temperature. Not only the problem was fixed, the cost was around $300 which was way less than I was anticipating. Any shop can tell you that they changed a part, or that the problem was more complex than anticipated. But the fact that they could have charged more but did not, makes me trust them for future repair jobs and recommend them to my friends.I have been running my A/C for almost a month now and it is still blowing as cold as when I received the car from them.I am very happy to have brought my minivan there, and although it is an AAMCO franchise, the truth is that this business is a small family operation owned and operated by two brothers. If you need an honest and knowledgeable mechanic that is willing to go out of his way for you, call Kevin or Todd at AAMCO of Bonita Springs. They have made a new customer from me, and I am spreading the word around to my friends and anyone else in need. God bless!

THANKS FOR THE GREAT SERVICE!!!!I will have to say, Kevin Sabbides and his team are wonderful! They have the knowledge and expertise to make the anyone feel comfortable in their care. I really didn't have much trust in automotive repair companies from past experiences but Kevin helped me step by step throughout the whole process to help me fully understand what I was putting my money into. I have referred many friends and family to this specific location and will continue to do so. 5 STAR SERVICE! Quick, efficient, educational, precise and friendly. Thanks again Kevin,Arielle

Tom, Kevin and the mechanics at AAMCO Bonita are some of the best I have worked with. It can be hard to find a place that will work on a 20 yr old sports car with engine modifications but the guys took on the challenge and figured out my engine issue with no problem. I would not hesitate to bring my vehicle back in the future.

Nothing but great experience's with Kevin the owner and his entire staff. We take all of our company vehicle's there as well as my personal vehicle's. My first experience with the shop was amazing and got me hooked. His staff took the time to call me and ask exactly what we carried in our work van that they were installing new tires on and took the time to find me a heavier load tire because we often times have the van loaded right down, so this way we would not be using the tires up as quickly not only do they ride great but they have over 25,000 miles on them and still look new. I had gotten new tires from another shop put on our F-250 Super Duty and they have less than 18,000 miles on them not are they already worn to the point of needing replacement but I had two tires break belts and the shop not stand behind their product, even with a 40,000 mile warranty they still wanted me to pay to replace the tires. Needless to say our vehicles will go nowhere else other then AAMCO on Bernwood Dr. because Kevin and his staff are truly professional and a pleasure to work with! Thank you for everything to the entire staff at AAMCO!

I took my Ford excursion into a dealership for other repairs and when I picked it up it would stall every time I put it in reverse. I took it back to the dealership and they advise me that I needed a whole new transmission that would cost me over $3000Decided to take it to AAMCO Transmissions off of Bernwood Drive for a second opinion. Their findings were that my transmission was only 4 quarts low on transmission fluid. Also they found no leaks in my transmission as well. Greatly appreciate the expertise and integrity of the shop in saving me over $3000 of repairs I didnt need. It only cost me for 4 qt of fluid instead and my problem was fixed! I highly recommended this shop!

Have never seen such honesty in a long time. Todd sat down and spent about 30 minutes explaining the details of the car problem and discouraged us from spending any money on major repairs. He'll always be my go to person. God bless you Todd.

Todd was a very rude customer service rep. I called in and he started taking my info and car type/issues. Then I told Todd my father and law referred to me their shop. I told him his name was Clement Wlodyka, then Todd started to act sarcastic about Clem being blown away his words from the pricing. He said if it were out of season, I would be ok with you using your own parts for a wheel bearing and brake vacuum booster. My parts are from Autozone the parts saving was a minimum of $250 vs the mark ups that most shops add to the parts, and I have a 3 year warranty, I don t care if It voids the labor warranty from some shops mostly because it s never utilized from clients. He tried to say most shops work on slim margins, $60-90 a labor hour is far from slim. My father is a Diesel Mechanic, I know a little. Being in season they want to price gouge all the out of state visitors rather than work with locals who live here. I have been doing customer service over the phone for a very long, as a loan officer and I have never treated anyone that way over the phone in a matter of 2-3 min conversation. I have bought brake pads and rotors plenty of times for different shops over the years to install. If you re on vacation and or a snow bird who cares about your savings (not a retired Dr or Lawyer) I would steer clear of here and shop for a better mechanic and a better customer service experience. At the end of the call I was refused an appointment/service and hung up on.

Initially we had our 2003 BMW serviced here for a transmission issue. They were super informative and accommodating. The repair was done on time and under bid. Because of the extensive computer system in a BMW 745I, they had to revisit the repair and at their cost overnighted parts to BMW, North Carolina to assure a proper repair.Additionally, they have always done little things like replacing bulbs at no charge.Because of the great job they did for us, we have referred three other friends all of whom were well pleased with the service. This is a great full service repair shop!
