I called to get a quote on a water pump and timing belt for my van. Richard the owner was very helpful and friendly. I had my van towed to the shop on Thursday and had it back by Saturday afternoon. Been going here with my family for like years they are wonderful, delightful and very knowledgeable. My step dad Mr.Gurges has known them for 20 years or so I believe. Best mechanic we know.Years after I posted the above original review still the best mechanic I'm gonna miss him when I move.

Dropped my car off around 8am with a bad wheel bearing and they had it fixed a little after 1pm! Amazing service and unbeatable prices, if you need work done on your car this is the place to go!

Really solid, honest shop. Did some work on my older truck that was running terribly and he fixed the issue for a great price. He even talked me out of doing additional work on it that was significantly more money because he didn't believe it would impact the performance enough compared to the quick, low-cost fixes he did. Just be a little patient. He's really backed up so it'll take you a while to get an appointment and you'll probably need to leave your car there for a day or 2 until you hear something. Worth it if you need work done and are willing to be patient. Definitely found my go-to mechanic in Auburndale.

Vayda Mechanical is a family run business that came highly recommended from a friend. So I gave them a try and I was highly impressed! They have done several repairs on my vehicle and at this point I trust them on what they say is wrong with the car and the repairs they do. I find them to be honest, affordable and they get the job done in a timely manner. I highly recommend them! You wont be disappointed!

We had the most wonderful experience with Richard. We called him very early the day after a holiday weekend with an emergency. Our caliper on the Jeep we were towing got stuck and took out our brake pads and rotor. He took our Jeep in immediately and repaired the same day. We expected a much higher bill than what was quoted. I would recommend Vayda Mechanical to anyone and everyone!Service: Brakes

The best mechanic In Auburndale FL. I will not go to any other mechanic. Richard the owner, is one of the best individuals. He is the best mechanic I have found, that is reasonable with price. He will absolutely get the job done.Update: I say again best mechanic around.

Richard was AWESOME !!! He was very sweet and kind and knowledgeable. I just moved up here and was very scared to have someone to work on my car. But he finished my car THE SAME DAY !!! With a YEARS WARRANTY I couldn't ask for a mechanic. He's definitely my new mechanic.

Vayda is one of the BEST places to take your vehicle for any type of service or repair. I trust them completely with my vehicle and have for years. They are honest, trustworthy, and well worth it. Very knowledgable and have lots of experience. You can trust these guys. Highly recommend them.

Mr. Vayda is always thorough and fair priced. He makes sure your automobile is fixed and doesn't "hurry" to fix it... he takes his time to make sure it's done RIGHT!! I always refer people to him that want a great mechanic :)

The best places are sometimes the least flashy, and that's the case here. When I called the owner answered and it's so refreshing speaking to the one in charge, the one responsible for the work. A great team of mechanics that I'd go to again for any mechanical issues!Thanks for the new shocks!

My "Check fuel fill inlet" notification came on in my vehicle followed by the check engine light. I was familiar with the fix for the fuel fill inlet but was worried when the check engine light came on. The mechanic here coached me through the fix and cleared the codes as if he were family. I know many mechanic shops around here would have charged me to read the code and up-charged for the simple fix. Moving forward, these will be my go-to mechanics in Polk County!
