I was talking with Alex about looking for a vehicle for me and my girls and within no time he texted me and told me he found one for me that I ll love!!! And he was right!!!Harrington motors was and still is so easy to work with and they done amazing with getting me into a vehicle .Definitely recommend to anyone who is looking for a reliable vehicle!!!

**UPDATE 7/31/23Back in the shop AGAIN with the check engine light.**UPDATE 7/5/23**Shifter is stuck in reverse and won't move. The warranty company has been a lifeline, but I'm starting to regret my purchase.Warranty roadside will only cover $50 of a tow. They wanted me to pay $150 to cover the rest. Really hoping the warranty will cover the work this time.**UPDATE**My check engine light and traction control lights are on. Time to test my warranty! (It wasn't covered)I had a solid experience purchasing my truck. Alex was extremely helpful and thorough. He was communicative and up front through the whole process.**Note, this is NOT a buy here, pay here facility. 3rd party financing is available and with the right credentials, it was simple to get approved. (May not extend to all based on the LENDER'S approval. The dealership has no control over loan approvals, private or their preferred lender)All concerns were swiftly addressed and kindly attended to. This is a family business who is looking to provide the best vehicles. Vehicle turnover is high (I live local and see the cars flying off the lot.) If you see something, stop in and see Alex. He's a wonderful asset to the company!I will post follow ups over time to update on my truck.

Recently bought a 2008 2500 silverado. Got the truck back home which was about 150 miles. Check engine light came on. No big deal, brought to mechanic to have the light checked out. When the Mechanic was going over the vehicle they noticed the frame was rotted in multiple spots, shock absorber bracket was rotted off and not connected to vehicle frame. Cost me $5k to have everything fixed. This is more of a warning then a review to any buying a vehicle here, make sure you thoroughly look over the vehicle or if you can bring it to a mechanic to have it checked out before you purchase.

Found them on facebook, selling a 2500 suburban, and I drove from CT to pick it up. Dealt with Alex for the whole process, and he was helpful for the most part. He "worked" with me on price, as originally i was told on the phone that this was a southern owned truck. Quick carfax showed me it was new england area its whole life. He sent me some rust pictures of a bubble in LR qtr panel, and i was ok with them as they instantly brought the price down. When i arrived there, the tag in the window was $1,000 less then our agreed on price. He said it just must have been an error. Upon inspection of vehicle, he mentioned to me ( after driving from ct to de) , that there were no third row seats, or brackets to even mount any seats. I then found a giant hole in the dash board and cracks all over. They took another couple hundred off the price for the dash, and we agreed to move on. I drove it home, and put a small trip or two on it before i was changing the tires out (600 miles total). They sold the truck with pretty beat an bald tires, which i was ok with. Upon removing the rims to mount new tires, I found the passenger rear brake pad to be completely worn down. I did 600 miles... Alex's response has been that it is ouside the 15 day warranty period, and i signed as is. I have also gotten told multiple times that i signed a paper that states I am not allowed to post this on google. But, as a consumer, and having my wife and kids drive around in a vehicle with no rear brakes, I feel the need to make others aware of there vehicles for sale. I never make reviews, but this one needed to happen.

Bought a ford fusion from here they had left some restrictions on the car from previous owner. When told to bring back to fix, they realized they hadn t given us the spare key. So even though it was their fault they forgot to give the spare key and remove the restrictions, the mechanic there decided upon himself that since it came out of their pocket they didn t want to fix the restrictions even though they scheduled it. Will be making sure no one else gets their car from here bad business and nothing done to correct it

Purchased a "4x4" Explorer that soon had many issues. Got lots of run around when attempting to contact for services. I did purchase the extended warranty luckily I could get very few repairs done by another dealer that was willing to work directly with the warranty company bypassing Harrington motors alleged warranty period. Later (after warranty)during $800 of transmission leak repairs, discovered the front driveshaft has been completely removed. So much for that 4wheel drive i thought i was buying

I bought my car from them back in November and I had the best experience ever. I worked with Jesse who was so easy and helpful. I told him the vehicle I wanted and he did everything he could to get me in it. I highly recommend going there exspecially if you have troubled credit.

Nice enough folks. But for what reason. Purchased a work van this year, I had a lot of miles but desiel can go for a long time. Engine light was on that should've turned me away. They told me it was just a glow plug issue when they checked. I found out that wasn't the truth. The intake runner was stuck. $2300 later had it running great. Now two weeks later the motor is froze up. Like I told him I need to learn not to trust a dealer. 12,000 later and I still have a good looking van that I cannot use.

Yay! I love my new car! Trustworthy car dealership, they worked with me to find the car I needed that was within the price range that we had set. I was a little scared buying a used car, but I felt good in knowing that they just had the cars inspected and knew all the ins and outs of the vehicles they showed me. I could tell they really wanted to help me find the car I wanted and not just try to sell me something, they were so friendly and listened to me!!!They also had the best selection compared to four other places we visited. I'm so glad that I found this business, I know because of their customer service, I will be back to buy my next car, and would recommend them to any of my friends. It's a rare find in a car dealership!

Purchased my second car from them, and have had a great experience both times. They know their inventory, and they know about cars. My first SUV ford runs like a champ, we bought it a year ago and I never had a problem with anything on it. That car will probably last me forever! LOLThis second smaller car we bought as an extra for my mom to drive and she loves it, great on gas, practically like new on the inside and the price was the best we found. DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME GOING ANYWHERE ELSE! Most dealerships will just try to sell you anything, these people actually care about what car they are putting you in.

Bought a car from here a little over a year and a half ago. Worst decision of my life! Yes the car was used but within 4 months I had to get a new altinator, all 4 new tires, new brakes, new wheel barring for both the rear passenger and driver sides, etc. I paid $4,900 for the car and have put thousands into repairs since! They are extremely dishonest about the vehicles they sell. Stay far away! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy!

I came out of town about 4-5 hrs to look at and pick up a vehicle. There were a few things that should have warned me, they refused to send the full vehicle report until I hassled them and told me 3 different price points over the phone. When I arrived the vehicle had a check engine light (which I was lied to about) and was in far worse condition than advertised. Stay away. Luckily I dodged a bullet. Don t buy from these shady guys.

Best people ever to deal with..I drove away the same day! They even upgraded me to a 2 year warranty! Love my Mustang! My whole family bought cars from these guys.

Worst decision ever bought vehicle less than four months transmission and engine went up complained whole time something wasn't right was told thats what ur warranty is for by the salesman he said were not a body shop. sold us garbage now have to pay $100 warranty and whatever else is not covered completely through Warranty. And the mechanic is rude. Did not give us all papers we signed said the bank would called bank they told us no they were supposed to supply our copies before we left with the car. Will never buy from them again. Please take ur own mechanic if u buy from them.

My daughter was looking for a vehicle and I went straight in to see Jesse and Emily. This is my second purchase from this dealership and wont be my last for sure!!! Always a pleasure to deal with and customer service is awesome! I highly recommend this dealership to anyone!

Bought a one previous owner truck with 97,000 miles on it and supposedly the dealership paid the auction extra to have it checked out. Got song and dance how they are third generation dealership, they take care of their clients, vehicle comes with warranty on engine and transmission blah blah blah. Don't buy it! After the brakes failed on me pulling a horse trailer within 1,000 miles after buying it, (scarey, but which I paid for with no complaints as it was an older truck) I also discovered the smell I sometimes smelled was oil leaking from the head gasket not an exhaust smell as I thought. The warranty did not cover gaskets! The dealership tried to deny it when I left it there for them to check out. I had it diagnosed at THREE mechanics including a factory dealership. Then within 3,000 miles I got stranded three hours away on a highway with a horse in the trailer on a 95 degree day when the vehicle caught fire!!! Fire engines put it out before it blew up. They were NO HELP AT ALL, not even to tow it back home. This was a $12,000 truck I paid cash for so they didn't care. Turned out a seal on the transmission went. The useless 'warranty" required me to pay to take the transmission apart to prove something was wrong with it inside, which I did, and of course since it was the seal, gaskets and seals were not covered. So, with tow fees, mechanics fees, loss of wages, money spent on horse shows I paid for but couldn't attend I lost thousands and had a truck with an engine oil leak . Never did they offer to help pay for anything or help me get into another truck. To top it off....they TRIED TO MAKE ME SIGN A CONTRACT AGREEING TO NOT MAKE ANY OF THIS PUBLIC AND OFFERING ME $300 TO STAY SILENT! I was insulted and refused. So....do not trust the warranty or what this dealership tells you. If you STILL buy from them bring the vehicle to your mechanic FIRST.

These guys will treat you right! I bought a commercial vehicle from them, a few months later a sensor went out on it...they got it in and fixed it..I will definitely be purchasing again with them! Thanks Harrington Motor World..we love our truck!
