This place was amazing I got off work at 4 and needed to get some tires mounted and balanced on my new wheels. And I called to check and see if they were able to do it and they were able to get it done for me and it was only $120 for mount and balance for 4 tires. I will definitely being going back for any needs that I have car related.

Loved it! Old School garage feel. Needed a Light Switch Replacement, the Reps got me in & serviced my vehicle within a timely manner in one business day. Great Customer Service,Very helpful staff.Waiting Room with T.V. was classic!! Highly recommend downtown Dover Tire King across from Kent General, Bayreuth Hospital

These guys & girl are AMAZING!!! I went in there yesterday after burkes tried to charge me $200 for an alignment. I thought I needed an alignment to fix the shaking in my new old car. They informed me that I may not need an alignment and they fixed the issue with the shaking for much cheaper than the cost of an alignment (especially at burkes LOL). Well it turns out that the a-hole that sold me the car (ABC auto in Newcastle, Don t ever go there) had cleared a code for a shift solenoid and my car decided it wasn t gonna shift out of second gear after I left. Well one of the awesome guys that works at tire king cleared the code for me so I could get home instead of putting my way in second gear. Overall awesome and honest crew of people at tire king!! Highly recommend!!

Honest business. AAA wanted thousands to fix my car. They found. Car needed less than $500. In repairs and car was not not dangerous to drive as AAA, Dover, DE stated.

The Best. Got a flat tire while driving from New Jersey and was able to call them and they were able to fix it within 10 minutes so we can be back on the road for a golf tournament. Felt like I was in NASCAR. Great job and highly recommend.

Amazing service! They didn t have the tires I wanted in stock so they had someone drive an hour north to pick them up! I came back when they called and it was quick service to take the OEM wheels off and put on my Rays Wheels that I ordered from Japan. I never expected to get same day install when the rims showed up at my door but I did. Friendly and quality work. Definitely would recommend!!

I enjoyed years of good service from Tire King. Staff were friendly, the service good, and prices reasonable. Most importantly, I trusted them. Last week, I brought my vehicle in for routine maintenance, however, and the wheel lock key disappeared. Staff tried to tell me it wasn't in the vehicle, but I held it in my hand and returned it to the glove box when I dropped the vehicle off. I emailed the owner for assistance but, surprisingly, received no response. This is disappointing. More so than the cost and inconvenience of replacing the wheel lock key, my faith in Tire King has taken a hit.Update: Thank you for your response, but I emailed you with my contact information when this happened and never received a return email or call. I emailed you, again, recently--no response. It saddens me that I will have to look elsewhere for service.

I was turned away from pepboys as my vehicle was too low, Tire King worked with me on a very short notice and got my tires mounted and balanced, and an alignment with only an hours notice, and just before they closed for the day. Thanks so much to Bobby here for making it possible!

It's really a zero star for this place. I used to get both of my vehicles oil changed here till he ripped me off on a amount for my mustang. It takes 8 quarts not 10 I have receipt to prove it too. On top of that these guys took my money for full synthetic and only put in regular oil. It slowly tore up my motor. I started going to my buddy n took oil too him then we found metal in the oil. All comes from not using what the proper oil even tho I paid for full synthetic. Then he had the nerve to till me he's not making money off my car so it price went up. So not making money of a oil changed after putting in cheaper oil then what was paid for by me. These guys we are total rip offs. Don't come here for anything there are more honest shops around town!

Finally i place i could get my lowered G35 aligned. My tie rod was bad and they made such a good effort to locate and install a new one for me.

One of the worst places I've ever had my car serviced. Mechanic just cries about his personal life. Staff is clueless as to when projects are commencing or ending. Had my car in their shop for 3 weeks, for work that they claimed would be only 2 hours of labor. They should all be fired. Place demolished.

On 11-13-21 we were on our way from upstate New York to Dover, De to visit a good friend when I ran over some road debris (see photo) that destroyed my passenger side rear tire on I-95 South about 35 -40 miles north of Dover. We limped into Dover on the temporary spare not knowing who to contact for a replacement tire. The next morning I called one of the large national chains first but was told they did not have a replacement in stock without any offer to order me a tire. Next I called Tire King because my Google search showed that they had a 4+ star rating while many others had only 4 stars. Like the first place they too did not have the tire in stock but I was told that they could get me a replacement by mid afternoon. They were true to there world and actually had the tires sooner than they initially said and I went in and in about a half an hour was on my way. The price seemed quite reasonable and the staff could not have been friendlier. The only reason I gave them 5 stars was because that was the maximum allowed and could not give more. Many thanks for saving out trip.Theresa & Lee

I will never.Ever.In my life.Take another thing here.All i wanted was an alignment.They left a bolt lose and didn t tighten it enough.As my car is banging. And clanking. After the alignment. Changing parts to find the root of it.To than find out they didn t tighten the bolt on the front wheel. The alignment bolt? Now it s rusty. I spent money trying to see what i may have done?Had that fallen out?Had my kids been in the car with me?Thanks for nothing guys.

Very accommodating with timely repairs and maintenance. Staff is always so nice and willing to help. I highly recommend Tire King. Anyone that I have had contact wiith at Tire King has always been professional and very courteous. Thank you all for always being so helpful.

Always have great service and pleased with the ride. I was told that other places send tires here for balancing because they have the tools for most all rim sizes. Kyle has been a wealth of knowledge and I highly recommend him as a sales person.

Good shop and vendor. Bought a full set of tires for my Subaru. Got a good deal and tires have worn like iron. Got a slow leak plugged while I waited. Drove up with no appointment

Support the locals whenever you can. They had to order the tires for my truck and they arrived quickly. The turn around for the installation and alignment was quick. Customer service was A+. Tire King will be my go-to for tires from here on out. Can't recommend them enough.

This shop surprised me! Not only do they have great service and excellent technicians, they gave me the time of day I needed to get my alignment checked and verified After the dealer wanted $500 for a fix. They showed me that the dealer was trying to take my money. So I gave my service. Full at this oil change at at competitive price plus military discount. The operate out of the box. I asked to them to do something unusual that scared all other shops. I'll give these guys my service from here on out!

If you like horrible service and dishonesty this is your place. They ll tell you things need to get repaired that don t. They won t fix the actual valve stem problems correctly and if you tell them this they ll swear at you and tell you to leave. Dirty building. Shady business practices and clown show management. Plenty of reputable places in town. Use them. Don t go here.

5 stars!! Since moving to Dover two years ago, I've lost count of the times that my family has used Tire King's services. Tonight, they saved the day again. With a flat tire and a spare looking to be on its last leg, they got me the tires I needed and stayed after closing to install. As a night shift nurse and mother of four, it is imperative that I have a safe, reliable vehicle. Tire King went above and beyond to get me back on the road and the prices were more than fair. Thank you!

They were super nice and the cheapest place for an alignment however, ever since I took my car back from the shop it hasn t been right. I ve replaced three tires in 1 month because my alignments so bad. Even if it was too complicated for them to fix, they could ve given me another option or my money back lol because I took it somewhere else and it s dangerous to drive.

Awful management and nasty customer service practices. Woman with a baby was told to go wreck as she left the establishment unhappy. She was unhappy because nothing she requested to be done to her car was done. That s not how you do business. Figure it out and do better.

Took my car in for an oil change and waited about an hour for a 15 minute job. That wouldnt have been a problem because shops get busy, but i found a video on snapchat of one of the mechanics running his mouth about my lancer and making gay jokes.... very professional. But to Bobby's credit, he at least managed a proper oil change. I will be going elsewhere, next time.

These guys are the real deal. Professional, honest, attentive to detail-you will have a tough time doing better than these guys.When I needed tires changed and rotated they were the only ones who got my specific tire (needed for 4WD) from out of stock. They generally focus on more basic repairs and tire changes, but they do a great job with oil changes and charge less than their competitors. I have been here about 4-5 times and I have never noticed any intent by Tire King staff to tell you you needed unnecessary repairs. On two different work orders I was even advised to go to the dealer rather than have them do a poor job on the car. I have also not had the problem where you take the car in for one problem and they "find" repairs you really don't need but they try to get you to do anyway. They will only advise repairs if you really need it. Randy is generally up front and he is a sincerely good guy.
