I m giving Mavis in Dover De 5 stars. They were able to service my needs within minutes of walking in the doors, without an appointment! They had the tires for my Tesla Model Y IN STOCK!!!! No one else did. I was in and out, and didn t have miss any critical meetings during my workday. Highly recommend Mavis in Dover De.

I ve worked in the automotive/service industry so I know a good thing when I see it. I called for a price, told them I could come right in. The quickest service I ve ever had getting tires and it was a decent price. I initially was going to buy some used tires but the price was really good. My service writer Chris mentioned they do an overall check on brakes, suspension, etc. They informed me the front pads were a little low and he mentioned they could offer that service. I declined but it was nice they mentioned it and he wasn t pushy, just looking out for the customer. I would definitely recommend this establishment. I realize my short wait time probably isn t common due to obvious fluctuations in customer flow but it was nice to win the lottery for quickest service in my personal experience and past professional experience. Good job guys!

This was my first experience at any shop as I have a family mechanic. I tried scheduling a tire install and wheel alignment with other places and had messed up appointments and refusals. I called them around noon and they had me in at 4. They were quick, efficient, and knowledgeable. My truck looks and rides great. Totally recommend!

Came in for an oil change and Paul s service was exceptional. Quick response and serious concern for the well being of my vehicle. Made calls to ensure parts were available. He even gave me realistic expectations on the conditions of my vehicle. They even brought me into the shop and visually showed me the issues with my vehicle. Paul called and followed up with me and I great appreciate it. I will be back for all my car repairs at the Mavis in Dover!

Scheduled an appointment for tiress, then day of my Battery light came on and on the way to Mavis my engine began overheating luckily i was close enough and made it. thankfully one of the guys was nice enough to give me a ride back. They took a look at my car and found the serpentine belt destroyed and replaced it for me the next day and even negotiated with my warranty company on my behalf to lower my deductible as i had just bought the car. Great service 100% recommend!

I went there today for the first time out of desperation because no other battery place would help me because my car battery by default is not under the hood. It's located under the floor in my backseat. No one would touch my car. I went to Mavis and explained everything and right away they reassured me they were going to take care of me and help me. They took my car in right away and performed exactly what I asked and even went above and tested other systems in my car to help diagnose my problem. Since losing my dad who was my go to for every car need. I was scared as a woman to go alone asking for help at a mechanic shop. They treated me so good and made me feel very comfortable. I will use them and them only for all my future car care needs. I will recommend them to every one going forward! Thank you so much to Mavis of Dover employees from the bottom of my heart!

Traveling through the area of Dover with our Travel Trailer in tow on a Thursday evening. Had not one, but two tires blow. With only one spare, we had to find some tires. Called Paul at Mavis in Dover, DE, and he had exactly what we needed. Took one of the tires up there, and Josh was on top of getting it changed. Having two tires blow, we knew it would be best to change all four. But so close to closing time, we feared we would not make back to the rv on the side of the road, install the tire, and get back to Mavis before they closed. Once again, Paul said, "No problem." we will wait for you. And that they did. We got back just before closing time, and Josh once again went to work and changed the remaining tires, and stayed well after closing to get it done. You just don't see this type of service anymore in a lot of places. You guys have two awesome employees (Paul and Josh) working in your Dover store. Because of them, we were able to continue with our trip! To top it off, we received a phone call from Paul the next morning, making sure we made it to our destination safely. These guys went above and beyond, and we can't thank them enough!!

Paul and Jamal were accommodating, polite, and professional. They repaired my tire quickly. Jamal took the time too advise me that I will soon need new tires. He showed me what is causing the need for the replacements in the future. Paul and Jamal earned a new loyal customer today.

I highly recommend this place for tire services. My dad and I had a rough day trying to get a new tire for a Nextcar rental vehicle which I warn you not to ever rent their vehicles they re not safe to drive. We finally came across Mavis while driving by and decided to give them a try after many disappointments from other tire service companies. Paul and his team was amazing! They jumped right on our tire once we walked through the doors. We felt so well taken care. Outstanding customer service!! Paul you and your team turned a horrible day into a great one. Thanks again and much blessings!

Mavis tire is terrific! They got me in to fix my tire day off with no appointment the day before thanksgiving. The building is clean and well maintained and feels safe. Paul at the front desk was super friendly and helpful. I walked in the door and he took my information and had my car in the garage lickety split! He directed me to the lounge to wait where they ve got a TV with Netflix and other streaming services to occupy the time while I wait for my car. This was my first time visiting Mavis and I will definitely be recommending them to anyone with tire issues.

The guys at Mavis are super friendly and very helpful. They re clear experts who answered every question I had, they re very honest. I went to one company who quoted me then went to Mavis for another quote. Mavis did all the work the first company was going to for half the price. It was fast and my car is driving great!! They re extremely accommodating, affordable, the best part is they don t try to upsell you or do things that aren t necessary. This is where I ll be going when my car needs any maintenance and I m sending my loved ones here as well.

I stopped there near the end of the day on a Sunday, they were nice enough to do the work without an appointment and the tech told me he found a bad valve stem so he replaced them all which I was fine with even though he just replaced all of them without asking at $7 a piece. However a month or two late I get a call from my wife now stranded on the side of the road because a tire went flat, after a little checking it turns out the valve stem was bad because it was dry rotted so he didn't change all of them as he stated and it cost me another $200 for a new tire because it went flat at speed and cut up the tire. I would not recommend anyone to go there.*** UPDATE***I called the number in the comment below and they got some info from me and said someone would be in contact with me, it wasn't more than a half an hour and Rodney from that branch called, he wanted me to bring the car by so he could check it out and that evening I stopped with it after work. Rodney had gone for the day but Paul (I 'm not positive on his name) and the techs on duty checked the car out made sure all the valve stems were good (even the ones they didn't need to cover) at no charge and Rodney would call me today. Rodney called to make sure the car was good now and they covered my lose on the tire. This all happen in about 24 hours time.I would like to commend Mavis and Rodney for standing up to their work and making sure I was taken care of and treated fairly, business' like that are hard to find and they had no issue doing so. Thank you!!!!

I had a nail stuck my tire on a Saturday - when most other tire places are closed. I looked online and found this place. I was able to walk in and have my tire repaired within half an hour. This will be my new go-to place for all my tire needs! Five stars!

Great service! Came in with a wheel balance issue that could not be solved in two attempts at the Newark NTB on Pulaski hwy. Robert and Roddy we absolutely great! Once the truck was on the lift and the tires were off they discovered no balancing weights were on the rims at all! This was a complete shock since I had the truck srviced and supposedly balanced twice on different occasions at the Newark location. These guys took great care in balancing the tires in a very short time. I highly recommend this place for honest and quality work!

These people are awesome! I got a flat tire while driving back home and they were the only ones that were open on a Sunday afternoon that could see me same day. With 4 new tires and an alignment, I was done within an hour. Their prices were also much better than other big name chain tire stores I've called. Definitely recommend coming to them for anything you need!!

Who likes to be left hanged on a Friday evening with a flat tire ? Well, probably many shops wouldn t care. But I m here, on the right shop, with a flat tire, it s Friday, very last minute before they closed for the day, and Mr. Paul didn t hesitate to bring it in and fix it. The guys inside had a very good attitude too, I can t thank you all enough. Oh, and I was out in less than 10 mins. I ll come back indeed, hopefully I won t get another flat tire, but for other services of course. Thank you Paul and crew.

Horrible customer service. I bought 4 tires and one of them was defective. They wouldn t replace but said they could get me a discounted price. Day of the work they started spewing added cost and then called me a liar .avoid them at all cost!!!

Wow. What a great experience. Came in the shop in Dover needing a couple tires for my car. Paul, at the counter, welcomed me. Got me in and out in less than a half hour. Kudos to Mavis. I will defiantly be back.

Needed service as soon as possible. Paul was able to accommodate me and have me come in immediately. When we arrived they took good care of us and handled everything, they have a nice waiting room with a tv that has Netflix. It was a very quick service, in and out, highly recommend!

Rolled over a nail and needed a plug and before I could even finish my conversation with Robert and pay, my car was ready to go AND I got an amazing quote on a full set for whenever I am ready to purchase. You all definitely have a repeat customer in me!
