Prius Kings rocks! I would guess every Prius dreads one thing in common...learning that the hybrid battery needs to be replaced. When I got that call last Friday, and the price tag of $4000+ to put in a new hybrid battery into my '07 with 183,000 miles at the dealer, I immediately began searching for a new Prius. I was SUPER fortunate to have a good friend who learned about my situation refer me to Prius Kings.I did my due diligence on their web site and then picked up the phone. Aric, who many people mention in their positive reviews of Prius Kings, picked up the phone and walked me through the service where for under $2K, I would have a new Gen 3 battery with a lifetime warranty, and a system check! I have to say, it was the classic "too good to be true" moment, but the reviews, including one from a fellow Prius member who I've known for 20 years, all proved true.Aric answered all my questions and we set an appointment for Monday at 3pm at my home...yes, you read that correctly, Aric comes to your house to do the replacement. He offered several payment methods to send a deposit, and he was at my house at 2:55pm. Aric was super chill, and just a great guy. I handed him the keys and went to drop my son off at his appointment for 3:30.By 4:10pm, Aric was done!! He was also able to diagnose and correct a problem with the throttle that appeared out of nowhere. Super friendly, car was ready to drive and I haven't had any issues since (today is Saturday).If you need to replace a hybrid battery, you would be foolish not to choose Prius Kings. They also offer other Prius services, and when I contacted Aric about an issue with my tailgate latch, he was kind enough to point me in the right direction on ebay to get the part even though he wasn't going to be part of the service.A genuinely nice experience that saved me from having to buy a new car, and introduced me to a new resource for all my Prius repair needs! Originally I was going buy a battery outright and install it myself, but the installation fee was very reasonable and went that route. The whole process for a hybrid battery install took under 45 minutes. Technician was incredibly professional, called and gave updates on on time of arrival. Prius is back to where it was, no complaints.Service: Auto battery replacement

The Priuskings are the best!I'd come across the Priuskings a while back by chance when searching for a reputable place to repair my car in general. They had such stellar reviews, I called them but they said they really only dealt with the Hybrid battery.Fast forward to last week when my 2005 Prius with 127,000 miles broke down after a few weeks of rough riding. I thought it might be the transmission, but after towing the car to a Toyota Dealership 15 miles away they determined it needed a new Hybrid Battery and were happy to charge me $2800.I remembered about the Priuskings and wrote them an email which was answered immediately. They suggested several options and after a phone call with Aric, we decided the best thing to do was to get the Gen.3 battery with a lifetime warranty.We set up an appointment for 2 days later and he drove from Brooklyn to New Jersey and arrived on time, and did the replacement in under an hour. He was very thorough, extremely knowledgeable, incredibly pleasant, laid back and answered my many questions as he did the work.He drove the car around for a while to make sure it was all better and then off he went to work on another car. I'd asked him how many of these things he's done, and he said "over a hundred". I don't doubt it. There wasn't a wasted moment as he removed nuts and bolts the back seats and a bunch of other things to get to the battery. I had such confidence in him.It's always a drag when a hybrid battery fails and I wouldn't wish this on anybody, but when it happens, it's always nice to know there's a company you can trust who will do the job and do it faster and better and cheaper than a dealership. All said and done, I was able to save over $600 on the new battery, including the cost of them driving to my location.Thank you Aric and Priuskings. You really saved the day.

I had recently purchased a 2005 Toyota Prius and it started giving me trouble. I brought the car to the Toyota dealership and they told me the hybrid battery was shot and quoted me $4000 for a new one. Having only paid $2000 for the car I declined to go down that road. This was on a Tuesday. I got home and told my mom the bad news and she immediately went online to look for something cheaper.She told me to look into PriusKings because for $1400 they will come out to your house to replace a 3rd gen hybrid battery. It honestly seemed too good to be true so I called the number. Not sure who I spoke with but was instructed to contact them via email with some information.After talking through email they let me know they could have a technician out on Saturday morning. I agreed and paid the $350 deposit through venmo on Wednesday. Saturday morning comes and the technician arrived a little later than expected. They said 11 and he was there at 11:30, not a big deal at all! I was at work but my mother said the technician was very professional and was done in about an hour.I went with the $1400 package and I could not be happier. My Prius had been sitting for 8 days, and it just wouldn't start when I tried. I tried a jump, and still nothing. So I called Priuskings. Never used them before, but I took a chance and was rewarded. They were at my house in two hours, and had the job done 15 minutes later. Reasonable price, total professionalism, and prompt service.

So grateful to have found these guys after the dreaded P0A80 popped up on my 2005 Prius. The tech came to my home and was friendly, efficient, and had me up and running again for a very reasonable price. My son came home with the bad news, the triangle of death and check engine lights were on in the Prius. Instantly checked the internet and knew it was the main battery. I read some reviews and called PriusKings. I talked to Aric and he set me up with a battery. I decided to go to the techs house and save some money. It was freezing out and only talking to someone on the phone made it very stressful. The Prius barely made it there. We pulled in and Jeff opened up the heated garage and as soon as we shook hands i knew all was good. Hes a great guy and in an hour and a half we were cruising home with all lights off and very confident in the car. Bottom line is its quite a stressful ordeal and Thanks to Aric and Jeff it turned into a great day!

These guys really know Priuses. Way more professional than some other services we spoke with. Very helpful and gave us a great deal on a battery with an extended warranty. Priuskings showed up on time and our car was finished in 1 hour. They also replaced a sensor for no additional charge! We'll be calling them for our Prius needs in the future. Good folks!

Aric was extremely helpful and friendly about getting my hybrid battery replaced, and was very careful to make sure it was necessary before installing it. He also allowed me to watch the process of replacing the battery and told me what he was doing and why. Highly recommend working with PriusKings.

Trusting a hybrid battery replacement to someone you never heard of and might not do business with again for years requires a leap of faith. Priuskings helped me save a lot of money and kept every promise and commitment they made. Aric should be teaching customer service classes at schools and/or businesses!

PriusKings made it easy. Every hybrid owner lives in fear of that moment when the car says the battery is kaput. Now, PriusKings can assuage the dread. They make it super easy to deal with the inevitable, answers questions rationally, and might even do the job at your home. Now I feel like my precious hybrid has a new lease on life and another 150K miles ahead. Thanks Aric!!!

Limped down from North Kingstown, Rhode Island and met Aric in Branford , CT where he did everything we had agreed to and more -- dropped me at train station to meet up with my wife and daughter. The plan was to take my daughter to lunch, then drive the car home after Aric replaced the battery... he called me before we had even sat down to eat!The car is almost better than new - we opted for the Generation III battery with the three year warranty as our car only has 60k miles. Aric is a true professional, easy to reach (answers e-mails and calls) and accommodating. Local Toyota Dealer quoted $5,000 for a "new" battery with a 1 year warranty... Prius King was less than $2,500 with a 3-year.Very pleased. Thanks Aric!

Prius Kings made repairing my Toyota Prius battery a breeze. They even came out to me and did the entire job in my driveway, so convenient and for a fraction of the cost of the dealer. Thank you Prius Kings.

After 184,000 miles, the hybrid battery went out on my 2009 Toyota Camry Hybrid. Prius Kings sent a technician to my home after I got home from work and installed the battery in an hour (in the dark, by the way).

These guys are great! My standard battery needed replacing and since their shop was closed due to the quarantine, they came to my house to do it. They were super helpful and professional, answered all my questions via email and phone (and I had a bunch!) and got it done when they said they would! I definitely recommend them.

The feared red triangle appeared on Saturday evening 6:30pm. I called them late when I got home. It was passed the office hours( 9.00am to 4.00pm) listed at 7.30pm. Aric took my call and he came in on Sunday morning at 9.30am to switch out the hybrid battery.Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair
