I brought my car to Morales thinking it was my transmission because another auto mechanic told me it was. The team at Morlaes could have told me the same thing and made more money off of me but they were professional and honest and it was not my transmission. They saved me a lot of money and gained a loyal customer. I will be bringing my car back to Morales for all my future needs. This garage exceeded my expectations. I live out of town, but my car was in New Haven so I read several reviews and chose to go with this independent business based on the excellent feedback of other customers. I was not disappointed. Everything about the experience was professional - the communication and the work itself. Juan was completely upfront about everything including what it would cost to run the diagnostics. Since I was hoping to be able to return to Massachusetts that day he saw to it the work was completed by the end of the day. The mechanics noticed that I could use a new air filter, so they took care of that at a very reasonable price, as well. All is running smoothly a week later.I highly recommend this business.Service: Transmission

I came in due to my engine/car shaking and it was recommended that I receive an Engine Diagnostic to pinpoint exact issue with my vehicle as well as other issues requiring future maintenance. I ended up replacing all spark plugs and receiving an oil change. My car runs smooth and no lights on the dash. During this process, The communication was great and all of my many questions and concerns were addressed.I found this business on Google and I am lucky to have come across an honest and reliable business. I would recommend and I will be returning !

My transmission on my Ford Explorer needed serious repair, unable to put in reverse. Towed truck to Morales and was diagnosed same day . I was offered a few options on repair and the truck was repaired in the time frame given. Juan handled the paperwork and the estimate and was very knowledgeable. He was pleasant and professional and the truck was repaired in the time frame he promised. I also met 2 of the mechanics who were pleasant and professional as well. Great guys over there. I had to get my transmission rebuilt on my 01 Camry, Juan was a great guy and gave me a good price compared to other shops and had my car back pretty quick. I would recommend this shop to anyone.

We had a great experience with Morales Transmissions. They were kind, professional, and communicative each step of the way. Our car would not start and they were willing to come to our garage and get it towed. The tow truck was initially too big but they found a solution for us instead of having us figure it out and helped jump the battery so we could head to their auto shop. They were timely with the battery replacement and extremely friendly during the whole process. We will be going to them for ALL car maintenance and issues!Service: Battery

i had an excellent experience at Morales transmission. i went in there thinking I needed a new transmission for my 2010 Nissan rouge which would have been over 3 thousand dollars. however it was just an abs module. they could have easily ripped me off but did not. they are very honest and helpful people!!!!

Incredible. BIPOC and family owned business offering quick & easy car service with super transparent pricing! I m a Yale student who drives everywhere - and my trunk stopped opening. I had two days to fix it before a cross country road trip. Morales Transmission was the one spot that could see me day of AND be transparent about the price from the jump. They gave me the exact quote for the diagnostic and only charged me for the new part above that.Above all, they prioritized my car for no extra cost. Diagnostic took 30minutes; then I brought it back the next day when the part arrived and installation took 16mins! Easy.And, it is a family run business! Could not feel better about supporting them. Wow so lucky to find a trust worthy car shop where the money goes directly to hard working families.Services: Electrical repair, Electrical, Body & Trim

MORALES TRANSMISSION, Saved my NV5600 STANDARD TRANSMISSION.another shop in ASHFORD CT. Charged 5,150.00 to repair the transmission,they installed 3rd and 4th gear in the WRONG sequence, also a DAMAGED COUNTER SHAFT and DAMAGED BELL HOUSING. I didnt wind up going because there was no appointment soon enough for me, but the person over the phone was very rude whe I asked if they had any same day appointments or a place if I had to tow my car there and snapped at me the rest of the call when I was just double checking.

My daughters 2006 Jeep Liberty developed transmission issues while she was visiting a friend in New Haven. We were desperate to find a trustworthy repair shop to take her car in for repair immediately, Morale s transmission shop took her car first thing Monday morning and had the car repaired quickly. Morales Transmission went above and beyond for me. Excellent customer service and craftsmanship. These guys are very experienced mechanics, and gave me a reasonable price. They diagnosed the problem very quickly and went right to work.They completed fixed my transmission issue. Very happy with there service. I would use them again without hesitation! Wow if I could give them more than 5 stars, l would. These guys care for their customers. They were always available for questions and concerns. They worked on my car, it was quick, great price and my car is brand new. When i Drove it, felt like l just took it out the lot when l first bought it. Kudos to both brothers . The service here is awesome! We had somewhat of an emergency. Transmission stopped working out of no where, called these guys up...they took us in RIGHT AWAY. Worked on the vehicle as quickly as possible and were extremely reasonable with payment. I would go back for more work on my vehicle and recommend you stopping in for any of your cars needs. My car runs great thanks to them!

Great shop with amazing people that are fair and knowledgable. My transmission went on my SUV. While other shops offered to put an used transmission Morales Transmission were able to rebuild it. Great experience overall with this shop. The price was fair, they were very responsive to my calls and answered every question.

It could be hard to find a good mechanic but these guys here are great! They replaced my transmission and my car drives great! There prices are fair and they are trust worthy! I will not bring my car any where else!any time i have a issue they do there best to fix the problem! I highly recommend this shop

Morales Transmission did a pretty good job! I had a problem with my subaru, other places told me right away that they have to change the transmission and they wanted to charge me 1.500 dollars, but I got lucky and I found these guys they told me it was just a electrical problem and just charged me 180$ dollars... very professionals and fair prices!

I came across MORALES TRANSMISSIONS on Google and read the reviews. Instantly I was intrigued to see if they really stood up to the hype and to my surprise they surpassed my expectations !!! My transmission was repaired and working GREAT in less than a week and I also returned for my wheel bearings replacement and was just as impressed. These guys are probably the best I ve found yet. They know what they are doing for sure. My Subaru was over heating for what every reason and they knocked it out no problem. Had our Ford Taurus worked on twice, excellent service and great price. Best part is that we got the car back within hours!
