In my lifetime I have purchased over 23 autos. I just purchased a 2013 Ford Exployer for over $14.000 from COS AUTOMOTIVE. We went for a test drive and at which time the Navigation system was operable.. We discovered a banging in the front end when wheel was turned, as well as a broken glove box etc. We were assured said issues would be corrected. Days later we picked the Exployer up and were given brief documentation as to said repairs. Days later my fiance drove the vehicle to discover that the Navigation system was not operating. Screen stated SD Card Required. We returned to COS today and spoke with Mark, individual who sold us said vehicle. He was invasive and not willing to assist us.. Even though I indicated I was interested within a week to purchase a 2014 Cadillac.We drove to a local Ford dealer who informed us that the Sd card is not compatible with our vehicle.We later called COS and spoke with Chris (owner's stepson). Explained the particulars and requested a possible solution. He was abrasive, hostile and condescending. He literally hung up.We should have payed attention to their reviews and the information available on this operation. If you are considering a car do your background research on this place . Be forewarned.

I had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this dealership, and it was nothing short of a nightmare. Not only did they use my information fraudulently, but CHRIS LIPPITT also resorted to blatant lies to cover up their deceitful actions.After filing a complaint with TransUnion regarding unauthorized use of my information, this dealership had the audacity to claim I was on their property, which is an outright lie. Their desperate attempt to deflect responsibility speaks volumes about their lack of integrity and professionalism.I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with this dealership to proceed with extreme caution. Their unethical behavior and deceptive practices are a red flag, and I wouldn't trust them with so much as a penny of my hard-earned money. Steer clear and save yourself the headache and potential financial harm.

I recently purchased a used truck from cos central.Mark and Chris treated me with respect, and answered all of my questions, enthusiastically and honestly.Mark explained all the financial legalities and even helped on an issue with registration. He made this purchase simple!I cannot say anything negative about the whole process. I would certainly buy another vehicle, from this dealer, and I have no reservations about recommending them to anyone.To top it all off, I ve taking my shiny, new, used truck to New Hampshire several times now and I am completely satisfied with its performance and its ride.Truly a quality used vehicle.Stop by and check this dealer s lot.By far, one of the better honest, used car dealers in the Meriden area!!

We went here to look for a car. We went on a Monday afternoon and we were surprised that it was as busy as it was. We found a car that interested us an wanted to know more about it. Mark showed us the car fax and it looked like a really good car. We asked if we could take it for a test drive. He gave us the keys and let us go for a test drive. Now I want to tell you, we have been to dozens of dealerships and have gone for several test drives and Mark was the FIRST dealer that let us take a test drive by ourselves. Thank you for that Mark. It's kinda weird having to take a test drive with a stranger in the car with you. Unfortunately we didn't end up purchasing the car, but we will definitely be back to see if we can find something else.

Not sure if my review posted, so I'm rewriting and can add so much more, we were bullied and intimidated not to read the contract, at the signing , Mark said "sure reread what we just went over 6 times!" They snuck in the warranty, making of $1500 into my loan,asking my young adult daughter , who was my financer, feel intimated and embarrassed, to read it. When I brought it to their attention, he denied it and CJ claimed "ignorance" Marks a master at this for sure. They refused to give me receipts for the "NEW" replacement parts agreed upon, so we could use the manufacturer warrenty's, also the receipt for the ONE repair they did. My whole ender carriage of parts needed replacement , more than once? In a years time?months after I supposedly had new brakes and tires??? More to you COS's

Went to Cos' for Emissions and it was extremely easy and quick. Just pulled up told them what I needed and they took the car and had it for less than 10 minutes. They even gave me a copy to take with me to DMV. The man who helped me was fast and polite, I'd make this my go to for emissions from now on.TLDR - Super easy Emissions.

I purchased my first car here and was excited and they made sure my car was good before I took it home and mark was nice and helpful explaining every detail and so far been having it for half year. Highly recommend here.

Pulled in for an emissions inspection. My wait was a sum total of about 30 seconds before I was greeted by a very friendly staff person. I gave the registration, post card and my $20 bill. She opened the garage door and took my car right in. I went into the waiting area and sat down. I wasn't tooling around on my phone for 10 minutes before she was back with my key, registration and my new Passed report. Faster than the line at the nearest Dunks. Nice job!

Tough time to find a good car, and I found one here. Positives: 1.Low dealer conveyance fee (half what you pay at large dealerships). 2. Manager/salesman was helpful and friendly. No BS. 3. Cars are sitting on lot so you can look at a bunch of them if you want (large dealerships often have them at remote locations). 4. GIANT PLUS: The check engine light came on within 25 miles after purchase. Even though there is no warranty on older cars, the manager stood behind his product and fixed the problem at no cost to me. Minor issue: The advertisement on the internet listed this car as having about 106,000 miles. It actually had 114,000. The carfax, which is free from this dealer, had the right mileage. Always worth checking.

UNBELIEVABLE!!! Mark and Chris run this place like a dealership should be run not only do they sell quality cars but they stand by their sales if an issue occurs, which when your selling used cars anything could happen. if your looking for a car go see what they have!!!

We recently bought a pre-owned Nissan Cube and the process couldn't have gone smoother! Everyone was professional and courteous and made the whole process so easy for a first time car buyer. The guys were super friendly and can't say enough about the whole thing. We had the car inspected at a mechanic's after purchasing and he said the car was in great shape and only recommended a tune-up. (And at over 140K miles, that's not a surprise). Will definitely come back if/when needed! Great job!

Purchased a car from these guys for 12k. At first everything was great. After a few days the check engine light went on A few weeks later I found out I had to put over $1000 into the car. A few months later it was discovered there were many underlying issues. They wouldn t help at all and there was nothing I could do. I couldn t keep putting money into this car that was supposed to be all set so I ended up having to sell it and took an 8k loss. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM.

Good prices, but it's for a reason. My check engine light came on 4 days after bringing the car home when I brought it back they didn't want to know anything about it, and pretty much told me to shove off. Also found multiple rot holes in the body of the car, after being told it was thoroughly looked over and gone through, and they don't sell anything with rust or rot.

Went here for emissions testing.. And very happy I did! They were able to take my car in right away, it was great and the service technician was very friendly!Recommended if you need a good place to get emissions done!

Wide selection of used cars to fit your requirements, be it price or mileage. Knowledgeable sales and service staff are "no pressure" . Well worth checking out their transportation offerings.

Came in for emission test on a weekday afternoon.Called in advance, confirmed it's not busy at that time.Arrived, and got the emission test done very quickly.Service was good, staff was friendly.Would recommend this place for friends.

Awful!!! I m very disappointed with this place. I bought a 5k Nissan Maxima from this dealership and they assured us that the car was in good condition and wouldn t give us any problems any time soon. As soon as we brought it home it began to give us transmission problems, we brought it back and they were very rude!!! Not helpful at all and said We didn t find anything wrong with the car therefore there s no way we can help. When i had clearly explained multiple times that there for sure was something wrong. Within the next month and a half we had to put over 1,000$ into the car for work it needed. I m so disappointed with this dealership and do not recommend! They are liars and are out to get your money.

I would strongly urge you NOT to purchase from Cos Auto. I purchased a vehicle in summer '17. Within the first 30 day warranty period, we reported transmission issues (vehicle would not move when put in drive/reverse and/or vehicle would loose power while driving). Within the first 3 months after warranty period, we had to spend a couple $1000 on several misc repairs. Then, not 8 months after we purchased the vehicle, the transmission completely blew. Despite reporting transmission issues during the warranty period, Cos Auto would not assist with the transmission replacement/repairs stating it was 'not their fault,' AND despite our vehicle paperwork stating that if the issue was reported during the warranty period, the seller has an obligation to assist with repairs (I'm paraphrasing of course). To make matters worse, the trusted mechanic that we took the vehicle to to get it fixed informed us that the transmission had major repairs done in 2015. This was NOT mentioned when we purchased the vehicle. Our mechanic also told us that the vehicle had a bad head gasket and one of the pistons on the engine was going out as well. Bottom line - I feel like this place sold me a lemon and they are just saying, 'It's not their fault." DO NOT BUY A VEHICLE FROM HERE unless you want to spend half the purchase price in repairs within the first year!!! With the amount of money we've spent on repairs in the past 8 months (since we bought the vehicle), we could have almost paid it off!

I truly wish I read the ratings of this place before purchasing a vehicle from them. In less than a month with the car, I learned that the vehicle was not in passing of emissions state. It is all rusted underneath, calipers and brakes are shot, struts needs to be replaced, electrical wires are fried. It is unsafe for this vehicle to be on the road. Now I'm looking to pay to fix it as much as it cost me to purchase it. I should have went with my gut to read all paperwork before signing. He supposedly explained each sheet that was being signed,but clearly did not. And when I called back to speak to the dealer who sold me the vehicle, he no longer is working there..Go Figures!!! I'm disgusted with their service and do not value their customers.

The review was for another used car dealer not cos' central auto.I bought a car at cos' central and i was very satisfied.I dont know how just the end of my review show up.The used car dealer that i went to prior to cos central were charging me $1041. For conveyance, $700 more than cos central.

Hands-down, Cos' Central Auto is a no-hassle car dealership. They have excellent deals and their sales guys are easy-going... 100% straight-shooters, no BS, and very accommodating. Honestly, this is the only dealership I think I've been to where I feel zero stress shopping for a car. I've bought 2 vehicles from them in the past decade and I use them for all my servicing too. Trust is a rare luxury to have in this industry, and they'll definitely earn your trust.

I went out to see about financing a car as soon as i got out my car and started browsing the lot the employee I believe his name was Mike told me what is the point of looking at cars if I need to do an application? I felt uncomfortable afterwards because he did not say that to the other people browsing the lot.
