I ordered brakes for my vehicle on 10/14/23. I got sick and totally forgot that I ordered and paid in full for the brakes, $129. My mechanic reminded me that the brakes needed to be replaced and then I realized that I had ordered the brakes. I went to Auto Zone to inquire about the brakes, since they were never returned and I never received a refund. I was met by the most rude staff, the women called me "honey", "Hun", and I take great offense to that. When the store clerk answered, she said "thank you for calling autozone, can you hold for a moment. When I answered Yes, she responded "thanks honey!" I was placed on hold for 23 minutes. While on hold, I called the store from my office, and the same thing happened. I hung up and called right back to which a male voice answered, asked me to hold and I said, please don't put me on hold, I am already on hold, for 23 minutes and counting. He was frustrated, told me how he had 20 other customers, what do you want. Now I am pissed and I said I have been calling about my brakes. He didn't care about anything I said, told me that he doesn't have time for this, and threatened to hang up. Who's the customer and who stole my money/brakes?I have called corporate for Omere for two days in a row, no response. Autozone has my money, $129, they have my brakes and they refuse to give anything back to me. The customer service guy told me to dispute the charge with my bank. Well, Affirm paid for the brakes and I am paying them back. If their policy is to return items after 7 days, then why wasn't a refund issued back to the card used? That's because an employee most likely took the brakes for his/her own vehicle. I am filing a complaint with the BBB. The rudest store, 300 North Avenue Bridgeport, CT 06606. I really don't want to give any stars.

I called this store 2 times at different times, they said wait one second and never came back to the phone I waited 7 minutes the first time and 10 minutes for the second. It should not to take this long to talk to someone on the phone

You can feel the ghetto as soon as you step through the doors to this place. Advance Auto is better. I only go here if I have no choice.

Bought a battery with a 3 year warranty, it failed in a year. These guys went above and beyond to get me a new replacement.

Felisha was very helpful with locating the store where they had the brakes that I needed. I went to two locations and I am glad she was the friendly face that asked to assist me. Go auto zone a Good person you have working at your Stratford store.

They have parts and items that are needed, and so this location always seems to be busy and because most parts require assistance from staff (to purchase/ order) It's likely that you'll be there for a while. Their customer service is 1 out of 5 stars there is no acknowledging you when you walk in to the store, no eye contact at the registers, no "did you find everything you where looking for", not even a "would you like a bag" its best to go with a good understanding of what you want or with someone knowledgeable.

Called ahead to see if they had the part, Spoke with Molly. She was really helpful and took the time to make sure it was the right part that I needed.I went in 45 mins later to grab it and by chance she was the one that was running register. Again, she was very welcoming. Had a great attitude.

How come you guys have a roped off area for paying customers to stand in line and wait while some knuckleheads just walk up and cut the line. Nobody says anything like maybe "Oh sir, he was before you." I'm all set with North Ave.

The wait is too long and they don't be having enough workers on the weekends,knowing a lot of people be coming in.I stood in line for a half hour and it was only 2 people in front of me..But when it was finally my turn in line the person was very polite and made me feel comfortable.

My ignition coils were bad I went to the store to buy set of 4 but they didn t have them in the stock. My sales representative at the counter was FELICITY K the best person and the best customer service I ever got with respect smiles and greetings she even called at another Auto Zone location to make sure that they have them because was showing only 1 left in the stock she was helpful.. love her service

Awful experience, took 25 mins for person to get in stock part, employees complaining nothing works. Every other store and parts buying experience, I'm in and out in 5 minutes... If I wasn't standing here for so long I would have never written a review!

Dudes are really nice give them a break and a chance!!!They deal with alot of people with car problems!!!!!The guy double checked aswell to make sure it was the right measurements on my mirror that I took! We ordered it an it came fast than expected but I did order fast shipping lol

This place for one, had the longest waiting in line for about half an HR, then to get to the register to deal with their nasty attitude. I'll never go there again. And the attitude came from a manager just because I mentioned that another store had them at a $53.00 less for the same piece, just to see if they do competitive pricing like some places do, so the manage rudely grabbed my piece that I bought in to show him, n planned it and said,"well go to advance auto". If that wasn't rude, I don't know what is!!!! So I told him off because that was uncalled for, especially cooking from a MANAGERR!!!! I told him he should've known better than to open up his mouth being rude. So yeah, I'll never go there again and I definitely will be calling cooperate tomorrow and putting in a complaint.

You, who are the owner of this store that is at 300 North Ave Bridgeport, if you do not want your store to close and leave the people who know how to treat the customer because you have to take into account that if the customer leaves your store happy , they will come back and recommend you to more people, but in my opinion none of the ones you have in that store are trained, you have to pay more attention to the customer and treat them well if your workers have personal problems they have to know that the problems do not mix with the work even if they are bad a smile to the client shows that the environment is not as heavy as it seems

This place used to be known for their personalized service. So when I needed help with a few items for my vehicle I went in with the intention of being able to ask my needed questions. Now I will say that the store was completely crowded. However, the gentleman that served me made it seem as if I was a problem for asking the questions that I asked and trying to get the answers that I needed. I ended up going through the store and finding the items I needed myself with the help of Google. Definitely not the kind of service expected and I will take my business elsewhere from now on.

Yesterday morning my battery acted up right before work. I was able to get a jump and made it to Autozone. William was very helpful he looked up my warranty on my existing battery installed my new battery. I was off to work within an hr. I want to thank William for turning my bad morning around.

It was terrible I felt disrespected the man at the counter was rude it was my turn Street editing 15-20 minutes and I m trying to ask about parts I need for my ram truck and a guy behind me starts talking to him too and he starts helping him leaving me standing here and I told him excuse me I m not done with you working with me and he s was waiting to and I was like I ve been waiting before him and you didn t even say excuse me or so if it s ok you just turned a way and left me I m like of explaining what I need I waited my turn and this isn t professional I come here all the time This isn t right how your treating me and I m just as important and my time is just as valuable add I just left and he didn t try to stop me out over an apology or anything so I m not going there no more!!!

Most of the staff is, well I'd say rude if they even paid attention to you. You always have to wait way to long for help, then are sent to another line to pay, oh and wait. I Will say, on my latest trip I was helped by Pedro he was friendly and actually helpful.

Not a bad store,but usually pretty busy and some people wouldn't help you due to the lack of their experience. But anytime if I would get helped by a supervisor,or a person that knows their job,everything ends up working out fine.

Horrible service Ana hung up on the Main Street store Manager. No one knows anything there. The employees need training they didn t know how to locate the parts I needed. I waited 45 minutes.

Carla is amazing an amazing store managerI have never received such wonderful service with my car. I've been using them over 20 yearsThey did what i asked and didn't they to sell me anything I didn't need. I highly recommend this auto zone. May they have a prosperous 2020 in all shapes and forms. Carla is such a hard workersSHE NEEDS A RAISE

The wait was extremely long it was a very dirty place to go shop for parts it should have been cleaner unexperienced young personnel I went from my friend to change his battery nothing else I would not go there no more
