We re coming here for many years for emissions and car maintenance. Staff is very nice , fast service, but i never felt rushed . Also they don t overwhelm with extra offers and if i have any questions, they kindly answer it and leave me with a good advice.

I had my emissions test done at Branford Auto. They were very professional. Had me in and out very quickly. Highly recommend.

Al's team is great. Worked with Al and Manuel. My girlfriend had brought her vehicle to get her brakes done and oil change to a place in Bridgeport. Long story short, he is a hack job that overtorqued one of the lug nuts and stripped the threads on the oil pan, hence oil was leaking. When she brought the vehicle back to bridgeport to repair the oil leak, he only changed the oil but did not resolve the issue as oil was still leaking. The drain plug would not tighten due to the stripped threads.I took the vehicle to Branford Auto and explained the issues. They were able to rethread the oil pan and saved me money from possibly having to replace the entire oil pan. On top of it, I was advised that the guy in Bridgeport put on two washers...Branford Auto also fixed the overtorqued lug nut that we initially couldn't remove. Additionally, they removed a scew from a slow leaking tire and patched it. From my experience, Branford Auto is a place you can trust and gets the job done. Thanks Al and Manuel!

Went in for an emmissions test. And I was struck with shock at how fast and easy it was done. I didnt have to wait more than a minute before they took my car in. And the test itself was no longer than 5 minutes. And in top of all this, everyone was nice and made my experience very enjoyable and pleasant.

Lou was very honest and up front about the vehicle. I got the truck at an amazing price. Lou made sure the vehicle fit my needs and was very considerate. He when through the entire vehicle with me so no surprises. Checked the brakes and fluids etc.I was very surprised at the service what a great little dealership and service center. Emissions testing was quick, easy, and hassle free. This place was recommended to me by the DMV, and I would back that recommendation 100%! They are super friendly too.

I went here all the time for my repairs and everything seemed ok. Dana and Al seemed like honest guys...well I moved to Florida and my car had been overheating. They told me I had a blown head gasket and recommended a new engine...they also mentioned that it WAS NOT the thermostat as I suspected....I had it hauled down to Florida and brought it to a mechanic here who told me that I absolutely do not have a blown head gasket and said the problem was the thermostat. He replaced the thermostat and it's been 3.5 years and hasn't overheated one single time and I have put about 45000 miles on it since the blown head gasket diagnosis by these clowns...they knew I was moving down here and tried to pull one on me knowing I was desperate to get the car fixed to drive it down here and I would be moving to Florida and not be back.

I recently broke down (flat tire) on the side of 95 North en route to see my son. Not knowing anything in the area, and not having AAA, I called Branford Auto. They came out right away to change my tire, and realized my spare was no good. I followed them back to the shop and they put another tire on my rim and had me on my way in 20 minutes. You guys are awesome and I would recommend you to anyone! Thank you so much!

We purchased a used car from Branford Auto Center, a family owned and operated business. Louis and Maria were patient, thorough, and extremely easy to work with. They allowed me to put the car on the lift, inspect it from top to bottom, and even made a few repairs before purchase. They clearly care about their customers.

After a severe snowstorm, I went for a drive and when I pulled back into my driveway, I missed it and ended up sliding into my yard which is a pretty steep hill. I was stuck and no matter what I tried, it would slide further, and there was also very thick brush it was sliding into on the passenger side, making things worse as it was scraping along the entire side of my Jeep. 4WD, but no winch.I called Branford Auto Center and they said they'd be there in about a half-hour. Half-hour later, they were right on time. The whole time, they were very professional and empathetic, though it wasn't an easy job, and explained that they couldn't guarantee there wouldn't be significant damage from pulling it out of the brush - which I totally understood and agreed to. None-the-less, they took great care to maneuver my Jeep out of this mess with very little damage, we were all amazed at how little body damage there was, just some minor scuffing that should buff out no problem, no dents. Thank you Branford Auto Center!

I have had emissions testing performed on a number of vehicles during the past year and I have been pleased with their services. Parking is limited and the waiting area has limited seating but overall my experience has been very positive.

We did an emissions testing at this place. They took the $20 but did not report it to the state and failed to give us the piece of paper that proves it. We had to re-do the emissions test later and pay a fine to the state. Avoid. this sloppy place.

My family has been using Branford Auto Center for several year and we have been consistently satisfied. Everyone there is very friendly and ready to help you in any way. I got the inspection done here, and the car did not had any code after the test my check engine light was on and the mechanic told me they can fix it there. I know the car did not have any codes as it is service by the dealer. they pulled a fast one on me do not go to this shop. I will report it to the town chamber of commerce

The guys are very helpful and kind.I came in for a simple lightbulb change and on further inspection, my tire was loose.They were able to get my parts quickly and repaired my car the same day. I have no one to help me with my car, so I m relieved I can count on them.

Not very friendly or welcoming. I went in person to make an appointment to have my car looked at and Dana proceeded to mansplain impatiently why I needed to leave the car for an entire day and couldn't just make an appointment to come in. The owner walked by several times and was unfriendly and unwelcoming so I decided to go to elsewhere.
