Absolutely the best experience I have had with auto care. I bought a used car from Carvana and the car got a paint chip during transport. They took all my insurance information, did all the work, fixed the car to "like new" and returned it to me, clean and looking great. No hassle. No issues. 5 stars without a doubt. They are extremely friendly people and kept me updated on my car.

I normally never leave reviews because I truly understand the hard work and dedication businesses put forward. But I called in for information and the lady who answered was completely sarcastic and unhelpful. They re apparently months out for scheduling and she offered no type of resolution. Good luck to anyone who tries to work with them.

TLDR; Schaefer's Precision Body's outstanding craftsmanship and attention to detail far outweigh the minor inconveniences I experienced regarding communication and timelines. It is clear to me that their focus is on delivering high-quality, exceptional work and they achieve this to an extraordinary degree. I would recommend Schaefer's to anyone needing vehicle repairs.Full Review:I recently had the opportunity to have my vehicle repaired at Schaefer's Precision Body, and I am quite happy the quality of their work. These craftsmen have truly outdone themselves in delivering a service that not only met, but far exceeded, my expectations.Upon picking up my vehicle post-repairs, I was immediately taken aback by the pristine condition of my truck. It was spotless, inside and out. It was evident that not only had they completed the body work to a high standard, but they had also taken the time to thoroughly clean and vacuum the interior. This attention to detail was not just commendable, but also indicative of their work ethic and dedication to customer satisfaction.The excellence didn't stop there, though. I was particularly impressed with their immaculate paint job, where the color matching was absolutely impeccable. A lesser body shop might have been content with a "good enough" match, but Schaefer's truly went above and beyond to ensure that it was perfect. The result was a vehicle that looked as though it had just rolled off the factory floor.Another commendable aspect of my experience was their negotiation with my insurance company. Despite the initial quotation for aftermarket prices, Schaefer's was able to negotiate for all new replacement parts. This was a testament to their integrity and commitment to their customers. It's clear that they are not willing to compromise on quality for the sake of saving a few dollars, a trait that is sadly too rare in this industry.When I took the time to inspect their work closely, I was impressed to see no trace of any parts being replaced or fixed. Their work was so flawless that my truck seemed brand new. They have certainly mastered the art of making damage disappear.They also had a rental vehicle for me to use while my truck was being repaired. While it might not be a big deal for households with multiple vehicles, it was important to me as I didn't have another vehicle to get around.However, despite all these positives, I would be remiss not to mention the two areas where I felt Schaefer's could improve: communication and time management. Throughout the repair process, I found myself frequently having to call in for updates on the progress of the repairs as they were not forthcoming with the information. Furthermore, the work was not completed within the originally agreed upon timeframe which is a bit of annoyance if you need your vehicle for work or other purposes. I would've appreciated being kept in the loop with any changes to the timelines so I could plan my schedule accordingly.Services: Painting, Body & Trim

After someone backed into my pickup I was referred to Schaefer's shop for the repairs. It took some time to get on their schedule and get the work done but it was worth the wait.Their team did exceptional work and dealt with the insurance company when they didn't want to pay up to do the job right. Paint is good, broken parts were repaired or replaced as needed and it looks good as new.It was finished later than initially expected but the work was thorough and the pickup was detail cleaned inside and out. I will definitely return if I need more body repairs in the future.

i give 2 stars. Got the car back. there was damage that had not been fixed. The rear bumper had a bigger gap in it. and there was 1 spot on the passenger door that was not fixed. The had the car for 5 weeks. Had to get insurance involved to get the car done. I would not recommend this place. At one time they did good work. If u live in sterling, co look else were.

I highly recommend Schaefer Precision Body. Mike is a true perfectionist, which is a great quality to have in this profession! His staff is professional, friendly and organized. I have taken my car to them on 3 different occasions and it comes out looking brand new! Thank you for the quality that you all put into each and every job you do.

With all the Fly by night hail damage company's that invaded Sterling after a hail storm. It s nice to know Shaffers can take care of my vehicle and bring it back to me looking brand new. They even helped me with a rental till my vehicle was fixed. The staff were very pleasant and helpful. I would highly recommend their services. In fact lol tell them Joe sent you. Best Auto Body shop in Sterling.

I live in Denver and could not get into ANY auto body places in Denver for over a year to fix my hail damage that happened May, 2017. The hail damage was extensive to my 2014 pick up, needing a new roof and hood. Schaefer's took me in quickly and did a great job with the damage. Looks brand new. Not to mention the staff was friendly and easy to talk to.

These people are amazing. I hit a deer on 14 while moving cross-country, and when I got to Sterling, I realized that there was some scary-looking damage to the front of my car. I went to Schaefer's and they took a look at my car even though they had a long line of work. They determined that there was no serious damage that would prevent me from driving, bound the dragging bits to the car with zip ties, and sent me on my way for free, allowing me to continue with my move. Without their hello, I would likely have been stuck for days.

The Schaefer team went above and beyond to help me meet a critical deadline for my business opening. I needed my vehicle fixed in a short time frame and when no one on the entire front range could do it in time, Schaefer's stepped up and delivered it in a short time that met my needs. I drove from Ft. Collins to do business with them. It was worth it. They not only did it in short order, it was done very well and exceeded my expectations. Thanks to Lori, Damon, and the entire team!

They did the most amazing job on my mustang. From changing custom badges to absolutely perfect 10/10 body repair work. It s like I m driving a brand new vehicle. I m a customer for life.

Had a solid estimate by some here, called to schedule the work and by thier est it would have cost $1800, they re did the estimate when I called to schedule and raised to $4400, joke organization. And they were highly recommended by a great body guy. Now I won't go to either of them

Had an appointment scheduled 3 months in advance because they were backed up. Called the day before the appointment to verify and they had nothing scheduled for me, no parts ordered. Someone dropped the ball and they failed to apologize, tried making it sound like i imagined going in there 3 months prior and turning in my estimate.They did offer to reschedule, only after I told them i had a card they gave me with the appointment date on it. I hung up the phone at that point.

Took my Jeep in for some minor body repair after getting a little to rambunctious off-road. Even though it was only a $250 repair, they treated me like it was a big deal for them. My Jeep was detailed inside and out when I picked it up. Couldn't imagine using anyone else after this experience. Thanks!
