I would never rent a vehicle from this guy again! We rented a jeep for 1 day (24 hours). We got a flat tire within the first 2 hours of having it..driving down a gravel road. The jeep had no jack or tools and the wrong size spare, but luckily someone passing by had some tools and a jack. Once we changed the spare we brought the jeep back. The owner was not very pleasant to deal with, he ignored the fact that the jeep was not properly equipped with a jack or even a wrench to change a flat. He charged us for a new tire (265.00) when we asked about the steep price he made up a bunch of excuses for the cost. After having the jeep for a total of 4 hours we were charged a half day rate of 165.00 verses a full day rate of 195.00..personally they can keep their $30.00...after being charge a total of 430.00 plus tax and additional "fees" was almost 500.00. I would never recommend renting from CHECK POINT AUTO unless you want to be ripped off and enjoy poor customer service. Don't let their upscale pamphlets fool you..the place is a DUMP.

Our 1997 Ford E150 Van had a cracked radiator and the # 7 coil was making the engine run terrible. The folks at Checkpoint got us a Excursion big enough to carry all 7 of us and spent two days replacing the radiator and the bad coil. All the engine codes were cleared but the van was still running bad. The mechanic and reception person were very apologetic for not completely fixing all the problems and I really appreciate the help with what they could fix and the perfect rental at a great discount. It was the only car left in town to rent and though it was a granny grocery getter, it was perfect for what we needed. The people were really nice, the cost was affordable and the dog greeters in the reception area were the best!

Absolutely awful! Do NOT buy a car here!!! Tom is extremely rude. He treated us like crap ( after appearing to be great when selling the car).
