Great locally owned business. They do a great job on service calls. They can also get just about anything you can think of glass related. Great to have these guys in are small town.

If I could give no stars I totally would. I was told my chip repair was guaranteed for life. Now that the chip they repaired has cracked all across my windshield I am told they would not replace the windshield but only $55 for the cost of the chip and I have to get it replaced by them. When trying to explain that the chip was their fault I was told that it had to be a new chip that cracked and they were not replacing the windshield. I was speaking to a manager and he just ended up hanging up on me. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY IF YOU CARE ABOUT YOUR VEHICLE AT ALL. I am going to call my insurance company and have them removed from their recommendation list.

My windshield cracked in July. Clear advantage repaired the crack, which did not look good after they repaired it and began spidering just over a month later. I called and was told that their work was not guaranteed and spidering was expected. However I have had windshields repaired from other places and have never had an experience where they spider after such a short period of time; in fact they have often held for years after repair.Again it didn't look good when they repaired it, and certainly doesn't look good now that I have to replace the entire windshield.Avoid this place and take your business elsewhere.Service: Auto glass repair

The Friendly folks at Clear Advantage got me in a day early to avoid some bad weather. Windshield looks great, and i waited comfortably in their new office. Nearly perfect experience, but...ya know, there could have been complimentary donuts! Nah, 5 star experience!

The guys that came and replaced my windshield were great, and very professional. They answered all my questions and did exactly what was needed and beyond. I have been using Clear Advantage Glass for many years now. I have always found them to be very friendly and professional. Not to mention there is usually a dog or two laying around on the office side of the door. They have always given me a quick turnaround on orders and in over 10 years of using them professionally I have never had even a small problem with anything they have done

The worst experience I have had not only with any business in Salida but any business I have worked with period. Beware and DO NOT do business with Clear Advantage Glass. First time they installed a new windshield I immediately saw signs of poor quality work, missing and stripped screws on the cowl, drain hoses not re-connected, seals not put back on properly, etc. I decided to not say anything and move on but a week later after some rain the windshield was severely leaking. They came back out to fix it and instead of finding the source of the leak they just put a bunch of urethane adhesive all over... well that did not fix the leak either which just created more issues. They then ordered a new windshield and cracked that one while installing. After the 3rd time having them attempt to just do a simple task of installing a windshield I moved on and went to a competitor. This competitor of Clear Advantage was able to install a non leaking windshield without a problem and found MORE issues from the poor workmanship of Clear Advantage. With further investigating it was found they broke all the clips off the cowl that connect it to the vehicle. Those clips ARE NOT available without buying a whole new cowl at a cost of $225... I also found out that they called a local dealer to get the cowl clips after noticing they broke them, but did not order the parts in and never even told me about breaking them and just tried to sweep it under the rug and glue the cowl back on. Every conversation I have had with them they have been extremely confrontation, never even apologized. The manager would not speak with me and the owner would not call me back. They will respond I am sure to this review with something completely wrong trying to cover themselves. I NEVER leave reviews but this was a horrific experience. In a small community like this, word gets out and I have already spoken to many in the community about my back experience and have heard very little good things.

The windshield of our vehicle got a major chip yesterday. Clear was able to get me in today to have it repaired before it had a chance to start cracking. They explained how to contact my insurance company to check if they would pay for it ... which they did. Vehicle was serviced when I arrived and was done thirty minutes later. Very pleased to deal with someone in the "valley" that does what they say when they say they will do it. Dennis was very helpful. I will use them if I need to ever replace the windshield and for my other vehicles.

First time using this company was great.This time, I have been trying for 2 months to get a single pane home window replaced. For the hottest two months of the year I have not been able to open my living room window. Installation technician did not show up on the first scheduled day for measurements, or the scheduled installation day. Lackadaisical attitude from everyone involved; I do not believe that my business is of any importance to them.Service: Installation

Nathan was the technician who replaced our Jeep windshield. He was professional and courteous. I m pleased with the replacement. It s not often that workers get the recognition they have earned when they do a good job. Most of the time we re too busy to appreciate their efforts on our behalf. Thanks Nathan.

Clear Advantage Glass was extremely prompt with their service. They came to our house to do the windshield chip repair when they said they would. They explained the procedure and were very polite. I would definitely recommend them.

Came early and fixed window chip promptly. They came to a somewhat remote location in cold icy weather and worked directly with my insurance. I didn't have to drive around with a nasty chip and then replace my window. This is the second vehicle we've had done with them and we're happy.

Been waiting over a YEAR for a simple sliding glass door installation. Project has been rescheduled now 7 times. Project was finally started 2 months ago and left incomplete. I've had an incomplete door for over two months and now they won't even answer the phone. Worst experience ever.

Do not use this company for window re-glazing or glass replacement. We are from out of town and had a large piece of glass that needed to be replaced. We paid over $1200 for the glass and what we received has uneven black glue all down the side (unpleasantly visible). Also, between the two panes of glass, you can see a very shiny metallic binding that is very distracting and takes away from the window that is supposed to have great views of the mountains.Very poor customer service. Being from out of town, Clear Advantage refused to work with our busy schedules. They also made us pay full price for a very poor quality piece of glass. Extremely dissatisfied and would not recommend this company to anyone.

I received prompt service when I phoned. They came to my resident to evaluate my needs. I had a rock chip-considerably larger than could be filled. Very respectful and honest employees. Would recommend them

I had storm windows and screens made and installed. They fall out. I called to complain. They came back out with a really bad attitude. Very rude. Fixed one, and said the other ones are fine The screens are so loose, they let bugs in, and periodically fall out on windy days. I feel like, because my purchase was only a few hundred dollars rather than a few thousand dollars, that this company does not care if the job was well done or not.

New Manager Very Rude, Owner responded to ask me to call and let him know what was the problem. When I tried to call manager said owner not there and refused to take my phone number to call me back.I purchased new windows with installation and 2 new screen doors for house not to terribly long before business sold to this new owner. Several $$$$ and manager refuses to come fix 1 of the doors without $$ up front. They bought business & name but would not stand behind previous purchase!!

Have a Nissan 2016 truck and got a quote for a new windshield from Clear Advantage. Price was over $500 with tax. Instead got a new truck windshield in Canon City for $232 ( includes tax). Worth the drive !

Came here for a chipped windshield through my insurance. Repair was great and the service was excellent. I was able to get an appointment very quickly and the repair was finished ahead of schedule.

Ordered the wrong glass for my Transit 3 different times. Finally, had to go to another provider after six weeks of them getting it wrong.
