All I can say is Mike's rocks. They know their stuff and are pretty quick with their repairs. High quality work, I won't take my vehicles any where else Certainly trust worthy and experienced.

These guys are always so helpful. It's unfortunate that people feel the need to go on radio talk shows to talk badly about such a good and honest local business because he's mad that his truck with 300,000+ miles doesn't work like it did when it was new.Grow up, Sir and quit trying to burn the world down because you're jaded about your ex-wife running off with the plumber. I'm sure he's far more interesting and financially secure than you based on what you said during your 20-seconds of "fame". I'm talking to you Michael Blom.Anyway - Mike's Downtown Service is great and will have a customer for life with me. (Even though my ex-wife burnt me too)And for the record for those who don't know about cars. It's impossible for a starter to cause CATASTOPHIC engine damage. Your truck was a POS and it finally gave up on you - but I'm sure you're used to that feeling.

It took me forever to get in towed in, and they held a spot for me. It was evaluated and it was a dead battery. He was so very kind to me, as well as the ladies at the Office. I will definitely bring my car there for any issues!

Avoid at all costs. I experienced dishonesty, lack of accountability, and lack of communication at all levels. Over a period of one week, they knowingly delivered a simple starter replacement/repair that was not complete, went dark when I tried to get information, then claimed there was a catastrophic issue w/ the vehicle's engine, after witnesses attested it was running fine when it was transfered into their care. ZERO accountability/attempt to "make things right" on their end. Utilize them at your own risk.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I can t say enough good things about this shop. Firstly, the entire staff is so nice and friendly. They were able to get my car in for a wheel bearing replacement the same week I called and I didn t pay a dime over the initial quoted price. They even stayed late on a Friday of a holiday weekend to get it finished for me. I m so appreciative and it was a good reminder why you should support small and local businesses.

Amazing service, they easily could have lied about my oil leak and what it was and charged me whatever. I thought my head gaskets where leaking, which is a big job to fix. It, it turned out to be something else. They fixed the actual issue and charged for just that. Honesty and integrity at its finest. Not to mention, they did this all in one day. I called at 430 pm the day before, brought my van in around 8am then next morning and had it back by 4. Now that s amazing turn around.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

Mike's is definitely one of the most honest shops I've ever come across. They've always found the most cost effective option and don't charge sky-high rates like other, bigger shops. They've also resolved any issues I've had quickly and fairly. They have decades and decades of experience and are just good people. Can't recommend them highly enough!

If you need a solid repair at an honest price, this where you go. My whole family uses them. Its easy to get your pants pulled around your ankles when you go to an auto shop. In all the years I have been using them its never happened, not even once. Good job fellas.

We needed our master cylinder changed. We had bought it at a local auto parts store and expected to have to take it back ourselves since it was under warranty. To our delight, Mike s handled everything, were timely, and charged the same as dinner out. My husband went in for the first time (referred by neighbor business). The guys were short, not friendly and didn t seem eager to have a new customer. We just needed hep to get our window closed and he left there knowing he would never come back. Customer service and friendliness was lacking and we would never go back or send people there. We live supporting small local businesses but... you can do better!

Best shop in Colorado! Very honest and amazing prices. Same mechanics have been working here for over 10 years. Local small business. Charged me $12 to replace a battery terminal. on a van we owned. I challenge anyone to walk out of a repair shop for $12. They do any work on my vehicles that I cant do myself. Very hard to find honest quality mechanics for a reasonable price. Look no further.

I was so impressed with this place. We were told by another automotive repair shop that we needed $468 worth of work done. I called Mike's to see what they would charge for the work. Stephanie called me back within minutes with a quote. It was quite a bit less so we took the vehicle into them immediately. We received a call 15 minutes later saying there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and we could come and pick it up. They charged us $10 and sent us on our way. Mike's Automotive has just gained a new customer. We will be back when we actually need some repairs. We appreciate your honesty guys!

Was told my car needed the ball joints replaced or the tranafer case. Found out by Mike that it was neither & he fixed the problem very inexpensively. This us the 2nd time I've went there & always leave pleased by their wirk.

I went to a large national chain to have rear brakes done on my 2000 Jeep Wrangler, only to be told that my brakes were just fine, but that I needed to spend $2600 to have the rear axel completely rebuilt. On the way home, I stopped to see a friend at my local parts store and he told me to go see Mike. $381 later, my Jeep was rolling down the road again and Mike has a customer for life. Do yourself a favor and go see Mike and his team, the next time you need anything done to your vehicle!

Mike and the family are good honest people. I've enjoyed working with them greatly. Very fairly priced. My relationship started with a breathalyzer now I work with them with everything.

Mikes service is the place to go in northern Colorado for any car troubles! Among so many competitors it can be hard to choose the most honest and fair mechanics- but rest assure that when you go to mikes they will treat you like family! After repairing my alternator and giving me rides to and from the shop, my battery still died the following day. When I called tommy to inquire as what I should do- he knew I was stranded so he came to my home, jumped my vehicle, then went the extra mile. When my battery would not hold a charge, he took it himself to be replaced, brought back the new one and installed it all in less than 30 minutes! After searching for years for a good car mechanic we couldn't be happier to have found mikes! Thank you for your constant compassion, excellent service and competitive prices!

I've had my various cars in here for mechanical repairs. They are very honest and charge a very reasonable rate. I have been quite pleased with the service and quality of repairs I have received here. I will absolutely be using them in the future!

I bought a vehicle about 2 years ago from mike and iliene. That's how I found out about this great business, since then I have been there a few times for different things and each and every time they work fast, have reasonable prices and are very friendly couldnt recommend a better mechanic. Used to think this place was great. Son took over and work had gone downhill. They cracked the cover to both rear lights and didn't say anything just glued them together and put them back on. My friends car.

Quoted me one price then charged me 50% more than quote.I specifically asked three different people working there what the labor charge would be. All three told me the same answer. Then when I picked up my car, the receptionist told me yeah this is what it's going to cost. Will not go back.
