David has been taking care of my cars for over 10 years. I ve trusted him so much that for a few years, when he was 90 miles away down near Colorado Springs, I d tow my cars to him for major service. So glad he s back near Fort Collins so he can also take care of all routine maintenance on our vehicles. Honest. Dependable. Thorough. Highly recommend David.

David is a family man that has a "mom-and-pop" mechanic shop, he does a thorough job of finding out what the problem is with vehicles and does an excellent job of explaining different options to his customers.David has done work on a few of our vehicles, good very honest mechanic.In fact, we now use his place of business for our fleet at my work.Will keep going back to him for sure! I've been coming here for the last couple years, and I've always gotten top level service and quality. David is very thorough and experienced, so no more mystery car problems... He knows what's going on. Thanks David! Just had some large maintenance items taken care of that parts were ordered for the previous week, and the car was done same day, which I don't think most shops could have accomplished!

Excellent service!They were half the cost of what another mechanic was quoting us for our 120,000 mile work that was due on our expedition. Highly recommend and we will continue to use and recommend them!

I took our 2016 F-150 in for a turbo replacement. Dave was professional, very courteous, and did his best to accommodate our need for a quick replacement. Unfortunately, the replacement turbo ended up being defective and Dave had to replace it the second time. He worked very hard to rectify the situation and now our truck is running perfectly well.

I can't recommend Gearworks enough! I've had multiple projects done (motor rebuild, new transmission, diagnostic troubleshooting, etc.) on dodge, jeep, and Ford and they have ALWAYS came through with the utmost quality for beyond fair pricing! I had my truck break down on the interstate last night, and David (owner) waited for me at the shop, after he was closed, and helped me get my truck back on the road, the same night. If you need something fixed, properly, and affordably, CALL GEARWORKS!!!!

David is the best mechanic around. He's honest - he'll give it to you straight, which I really appreciate. He's also timely and communicative and will update you on when he's getting parts in and when he expects to have the job done. Best of the best 10/10

Couldn t be happier. NextDoor came through again and I was able to get in that very same day, easy honest advice and repair. After expecting $500 they were less than $175 and I m back on the road.

Took it in for a cat converter change. Tech saw the fuel pump wasn t working properly and suggest I change it. Thankful he inspected this as my gas mileage was improved. I trust Gearworks Automotive for all my auto repair needs.
