Paul has been nothing but honest and fair, providing quality work. I personally had my boat in twice this summer, he repaired it for less than others and was extremely fast. SHOCKING!So I was going to be a new customer of Cooks - went in there and told him what was going on and asked When he might be able to get to it... was about 10 or 12 days booked out so he said he could get to it on Friday Sept 13th.I work on Friday, so I took the boat down to drop it off and got to his place around 345 on Thursday evening. It look like he was closed up and locked up so I put boat in one of the parking places outside the gate and sent him a text saying I had dropped it off and where the keys were.I went into King Soopers down the road, when I came out he had called me seven times and left a voicemail for me to call him back, which I did, he was irate, told me it was totally unacceptable for me to drop it off on a Thursday evening because he had said he couldn t get to it till Friday...Told me he was now refusing to work on my boat and I need to get back there and pick it up. (By way of note, I have waited for this appointment now for two weeks and I am trying to get my boat fixed to get back on the water).Well, I went back and picked up the boat, my adapter was smashed to bits (See picture below).That was my experience, shocking would be an understatement...#1: Overall rudeness#2: Clear communication from him that it was my fault for dropping the boat off on Thursday evening - And that I should not necessarily have expected him to be there.#3: After all of this, refusing to work on my boat and honor the appointment, out of spite I guess.#4: Breaking my adapter to bits which she obviously would have noticed. He was gone again by the time I got back to pick up boat. He did say I could come back at a later date and he would give me another adapter. That is appreciated, but it s not like I have an extra hour to go drive down to get an adapter he shattered after all of this.

Paul was absolutely wonderful to work with. We had previously used another boat mechanic in Loveland and were disappointed with their service so we sought Pauls expertise and knowledge. He was able to diagnose and fix all of the issues with our 2001 Larson. He helped educate us on the workings of our boat and provided the best customer care we could have asked for with a mechanic. We cannot recommend him enough and we will use him for all of our future boat needs. 10/10 in knowledge, professionalism, customer service, affordability, and overall experience.

Great experience and so thankful for Cooks boat repair! My parents gave me their 1988 Sea Ray which was in excellent condition but had been sitting in storage for several years. After running all over northern Colorado, every boat place I had been to refused to work on it because of how old it was. Understandable but frustrating. Then I found Cooks and Paul was great! He got the boat water ready and replaced what was needed, etc. He always called me back and was always in communication. Good price, great service, and a nice guy. I will be taking my boat here for winterizing too. Thank you Paul!!

Had my boat winterized last year and should have reviewed then. Was referred here by a boating friend. Price was fair for work with no pressure to have other added expense. Fast and complete. Very courteous. Not a great communicator as other reviewers noted since he does the work himself. However this being said he did return my calls as soon as he was able. I will return for my next service.

Excellent service! I can call Paul anytime and ask a question and if he doesn t know the answer, he finds out and gets back to you in a timely manner. I even pop in to his business every now and again just to ask him questions. Good price to winterize and shrink wrap. Did me a solid by repairing my outdrive last summer during his busy season. I have recommended Cooks to several people and all of them have been Extremely happy with the results!!

I brought my boat here after Liquid Powersports tore my cover, my seat, locked my RZR in my trailer and didn't plumb my ballast correctly. Needless to say, Mr. Cook worked me right in and fixed my boat after hours in the heat of the spring rush. I can't say enough good things about this place. Definitely a very knowledgeable mechanic and fixed my problem in about 20 minutes. I am very meticulous about my boat, and he exceeded my expectations. It's a very low key shop in the heart of Loveland. I will be sending all of my buddies here to get work done.

The owner is very knowledgeable and has no problem helping you with any boat issues. He recommended a great upholstery shop and even gave me some great tips on how to to address some oxidation problems on my boat

Fair pricing, isn't a boating elitist. I brought in my older boat that the boat snobs passed on ( well maintained older runabout). I felt that I was treated well and the necessary work was accomplished without additional pressure for more work.

Great place to fix up your boat, prepare for summer and winter. The guy knows what he is doing and just because his place doesn't look as fancy as others he doesn't have to overcharge you how others do...communication is sometimes difficult because he is by himself working on the boats.
