I have been using this shop for years. They are honest, trustworthy and very hard working and the prices are better than fair. They try hard to work with customers who have emergencies too. Tami is a wonderful supervisor and mechanic as well. Adrian is an auto mechanic God! He is super knowledgeable and gets things done right the first time. The other mechanics are very good as well. All are respectful. This is the place to go for any car repairs.

Took my brother in law in to have a interlock installed in his car. he has had a stroke and is a little slow on understanding things, also has COPD and had a hard time blowing. Really bad combo.Jude took a LOT of time explaining how the system works and what my brother in law needed to do in order to make it work. He took the extra time needed. Jude coached well above what the normal person would have needed, and although he was busy and had to stop and help other customers, he never once acted impatient or rushed towards us. He managed to keep us happy AND all the other customers that came in while we were there.Service like this is rare these days.THANKS JUDE AND ACTION AUTOJude in an employee worth his weight in gold.

My parents had the extreme misfortune of taking their car here for a check engine light. Three different times they were told it was fixed, and in each case they paid and drove it home, only to find the problem hadn't been resolved. There was even a one-month period where they had messed the car up so badly it wouldn't even start. It sat untouched on their lot for weeks that way.Finally, after four months and a lot of money spent, my parents were assured it was really fixed this time. Nope. Same problem, with zero improvement. They finally cut their losses and took it to another shop. And were they offered a refund, or any compensation for their trouble? Of course not.Incompetence is one thing, but they were also dishonest, forever stalling, giving false timelines, and blaming their suppliers for sending the wrong, or broken parts, and complaining that they couldn't find good help.Avoid at all costs.

I only went here to have my Interlock serviced/calibrated, I ve gone to about 7-10,different places , and this is now my go to.Always open during business hours , great costumers service.

Adrian does not know what he is doing. This place will cost you more money in the long run. I advise you to go to a different shop!!!!

I have been gone to this auto repair shop for over 21 years.Not anymore.They lie and unfaithful. Skill is less than high school kids.Look how main mechanic dressed.

It had been several years since I took a vehicle to Action but glad Adrian is back and that I returned. The problem I had was not common and diagnostics took longer than expected. Through perseverance and due diligence, the problemn was identified and resolved. Costs were actually less than I expected and the service was phenominal. Action puts to shame the other service centers within a two mile stretch of their location.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Took our vehicles here for years. In the last year its been nothing but problems. My husband had to bring his car back after he was told it was fixed and it was not in January. He was told the second time his breaks and pads were changed. They are already needing to be changed again in July. This is a place my entire family used for so long and we are all currently looking for a new place to go because this exact experience is happened to all of us in the last 6 to 8 months. My brother dropped his truck off and WEEKS later he called and they forgot who he was and that they even had his truck. Very disappointing.

The owner is very nice and respectful. My cars interlock was locked out so I couldn't drive it to get it recalibrate so I had it towed to the shop. When I got there the shop was already closed but the owner and another employee where still there so I asked her politely if there was anyway I could get it calibrated still even tho they were closed and she said I could. She really helped me out there and I really appreciated it. She could have told me no and to wait until tomorrow but she told me since I was polite and asked nicely she calibrated my interlock for me. So be nice to people and they will be nice back.

I've been using them for quite some time now for various reasons. They have always been super kind, quick and have gone out of their way for me more than once. Plus the shop dog is cute as heck! I Stopped here to Pay a 75.00 ServLoc Fee since my handset was down to 24hrs... and my regular place wasn't open for service.... I told the Older Man with the VETERANS HAT ON ?? EXACTLY WHAT I STOPPED FOR and Needed. He asked for my card ... which I Entrusted Him with..... he never said a FUCCN word about TAKING OFF 169.99 PLUS another 94.99 .... he just handed back to me . and I Thanked him for his service.... NOW TODAY I SEE HE TOOK OFF 265.00 WITHOUT MY PERMISSION and didn't even have the common courtesy to MENTION IT TO ME ...... wow..... I'm telling EVERYBODY BBS TOO

They tried to charge me 2500 bucks 10 hrs labor for a silly little axle seal. Took me 30 minutes to do it myself and only 20 bucks for the part. My mechanic said they were trying to pull a fast one on me. Don't let em rip you off. Do your own research.

My brother in law runs the shop and he's an awesome mechanic. He's the only one I let work on my cars. He's very meticulous about his work. Highly recommend.

Awesome people who know what they re doing!! I was referred here just for an alignment from my trusted mechanic after replacing my steering rack and lower ball joints. The steering on my truck still felt sloppy after the suspension work and they found the problem my mechanic and I couldn t pin point. It ended up being the steering column. They aligned my truck and offered a free alignment if I decided to have them replace the steering column. Very decent prices and Adrian & Tami were very cool people. This is where I ll be going for tires and alignments from now on instead of Big O or Discount Tire.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Wheel alignment

Before I begin, let me tell you that the employees are very nice and are in no way responsible for the following review.My boyfriend and I took in his car two weeks ago for some new tires, because we know one of the employees personally and he said he could get us a discount. So all goes well and we get the car back within 2 hours of dropping it off. The tires looked nice and weren t too bad of a price! But we had to take it back the next day because something was rattling around in the fire. Turns out it was just a tire sensor (which we have had many problems with in the past so no harm done) and the mechanics took it out free of charge.Here s the kicker.We took the car back in again, this time because we were aware of some heavy damage to the inside parts of the rims. There were some chips and scratches on the black paint of the rims and we are heavily invested in the vehicle. As soon as we said something to one of the mechanics, he said he had to go get the owner.We waited inside until we realized that the owner was outside already looking at the car and it s damage, which wasn t an issue of course but we would have preferred to be out there to talk about it and point out some of the flaws we noticed that she may not. As soon as she came back inside to speak with us there was something of a dark look on her face, and that s when she began to live up to the other reviews...She walked in and started to yell for the mechanic that helped us in the beginning, screaming about needing to see our file or our receipt . So we said it s in the car and we could go get it but then she snapped and said it s in your file, I don t need it. She then said they shouldn t have even done our car because it s a low profile rim . Not only that, but then she started to complain that we got a deal and insisted on showing us how much it SHOULD HAVE been. She used those words exactly. Then she proceeded to tell us that we shouldn t have paid with a credit card and that she doesn t even accept them, because it costs her 5% . Overall, the owner, Tammy, refused to pay for the damages to our vehicle or even see if she could get them fixed, and then told us that our family friend has to pay for them, because she won t.Don t go here, the owner isn t worth the headache.

Tami, Adrian and Mark did a great job working with me and the financial end of things with a Vocational rehabilitation Payment used for fixing a work truck so I can get back to work ASAP! They happily went the extra mile to make it happen with the extra paper work involved and they did a great job replacing an old distributor and doing a new pan gasket and rear main seal on the old Chevy work truck.They also did a great job mounting and balancing a full set of tires on freshly powder coated rims without a scratch and at the best price in town for doing it!Thank you again everyone down there atAction Auto service!!!! This was by far the best service I ve had with any mechanic shops. They were very friendly, informative and actually cared. They were busy but still managed to get me through as fast as they could with still upholding high quality service! Unfortunately I m moving but I would make this my one and only mechanic in Loveland if I ever move back!!Services: Electrical repair, Battery

Why is a " zero star" rating not available? Scheduled a vehicle to vehicle transfer for an interlock device, and the guy who seemed like he had a few too many "red bulls" or something of the like, was extremely put off by everything, inconvenienced at every inquiry, ended up only completing half the job! I would have never agreed to pay for a job done so poorly, and frankly, I would be concerned if you, a business owner, gave the go-ahead for THAT to be the face of your business.Regardless, I needed the job to be completed to remain compliant, so I called and scheduled the second half of the job to be completed this morning,I arrived on time and waited for 15 minutes before lil Ms. Sunshine decided to mosey on over to do what he is actually getting paid a wage to do. He proceeded to ask me to fill out some paperwork, show proof of Insurance, registration, and proof of address, and after providing the info. (why wasn't this required when I was there the first time?) he, told me that they did not have me on the schedule and he couldn't help me. I asked him why he would have me fill out paperwork if he could not help me. Apparently that set him off, because he immediately raised his voice and started aggressively asking me if I was "calling him a liar" and started referring to me as "bud". At that point, I was feeling a bit cornered, and began to walk out. He proceeded to yell obscenities at me, saying "what's up then?" what's up then?" I got in my car and left, after trying to laugh it off.I called Smart Start, and by pure luck, I spoke with the same gal who scheduled the appointment, remembered my situation, who also thought it was odd that he split the appointment up into two separate days altogether (which, I believe is against policy) . Anyhow, she confirmed what I knew to be true the whole time, that it was in fact scheduled, and it was their shop who failed to document properly.Not a huge inconvenience, as Smart Start is crediting my account, and I am going to be utilizing another location of theirs for the duration of my time with them, but I believe it needs to be known that his demeanor, lack of professionalism, and inability to take accountability - (I recognize that I am there for driving a vehicle while intoxicated - mind you, I am actively repaying my debt to society, taking accountability for my actions.) is concerning, as he should never talk to someone in a professional setting, in such an aggressive manner, and actually be allowed to continue with his job.Just because I am there for interlock, does not mean that I less than, or that I am not a contributing member of society, the local community, or that I don't have a voice.I will be sure to communicate this to all of those interested in doing business with this outfit, which, judging by the reviews, seems the word is already getting out, BUT heaven forbid, if a disagreement or miscommunication arises, ask yourself: is this who you really want working on your vehicle if they end up in the wrong, and need to make it right for you as a consumer? Would you put your life in the hands of someone who cannot function like a regular human being in public? I highly recommend you explore alternative options, as there are plenty of reputable outfits in Loveland, that aren't run by those who are clearly unstable.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance, Electrical

Don't get your interlock installed here! Horrible customer service and they hardly trained me on the device costing me money in the long run among other problems.On the day of the installation (which I had made an appointment for) they said it would take 2-3 hours to do and had me sign all the paperwork before they did anything, which I thought was weird. Fours and a half hours went by and we had not received a phone call so we went to check on the progress. When we got there no progress had been made so we went to talk with them. They blamed the interlock company saying they were supposed to tell us it would take all day, which they didn't, regardless he was the one who said 2-3 hours.An hour and a half later they had it done, I paid and they trained us how to blow in the machine, which took some practice, and sent us on our way.A week or so later we had a problem with the machine and called Smart Start (the interlock manufacturers) to find out what was wrong. In telling them what happened they asked if I was shown a video in training and I said no and they said I should take it back to the mechanic and not pay because they are supposed to show us an informational video in training so as to avoid lockouts and other problems.When we arrived and told them we need a service they immediately asked cash or credit and I said neither. She immediately got huffy puffy and I explained that we were not properly trained so we were not going to pay. She started yelling at this point saying they train everyone properly and showing me my file, said that I even signed that I was trained and watched a video as if to imply that my signature is proof that it is true. Yeah, I stupidly signed everything before they did anything trusting that they would follow through, but that does not mean they did everything on the list, infact they hardly did anything. She ended up calling me a liar saying she thought I was just trying to get something for free, mind you yelling the whole time. I have never been so horribly mistreated by a business and reading another review on here about their 5 week wait for nothing, the behavior sounds very similar, blaming, no accountability and a waste of time and money. Don't do it, there are other better places I now have the pleasure of giving my business to.

Very friendly and up front about everything. Went above and beyond my expectations and the service they provided and made sure everything was working properly. And I only went in to get new tires. Aj looked up half a dozen options to choose from and really hit the nail on the head on what I was looking for. Great place!! I highly recommend going here to anyone! If I could give 0 stars I would! First off they made us pay upfront which initially I didn't mind because we support local, small business especially since I work for a small business. I was surprised though that they couldn't cover their own overhead. After 3 weeks and no word as to what was going on, we called to see how much longer until we were "back on the road" as their mechanic put it when he was guaranteeing the speediness of their work. Turns out they hadn't even looked at it yet and it was still sitting there untouched. A week later when we called they said their mechanic had a personal and very sad event happen and so he hadn't been at work which we were very sympathetic about. The problem arouse when the following week they called to say that it was not the transmission as was originally reported as the problem but rather the transfer case. They told us they had finally had a chance to look at it and it was not the transmission which is what they originally told us it was. They quoted us the same price to fix the t-case as they would the transmission. I found this rather steep and after asking around it was about $1,200 more than other shops charge. We finally came to an agreement for a more reasonable price and they agreed to refund the remaining balance and promised the truck would be fixed the following Friday. I called on Tuesday to make sure things were going ok since their communication had notoriously been bad through the whole 5 (yes 5 weeks!!!!!) our truck had been in the shop and was told that everything was fine. Thursday rolls around, the day before they promised that the truck would be fixed, and we get a call saying that they could not fix it because they could not get the part. I was upset but by now really ready to move on. We went and had a tow truck pick up our vehicle and then asked for our money back. They could not cut us a check at that time but promised the money in full the next day. Later that evening we get a call saying the money they were refunding was $400 less than what we gave them. When I asked questions about why they deserved the $400 they quoted a diagnosis fee (which is totally fair) and a fee because they had to return the transmission. When I asked how the transmission being ordered was our fault they said it was because that is what we told them the problem was when we dropped the truck off. I explained that neither of us were mechanics and so was not sure why they just believed us and why the truck was not looked at before the part was ordered. They once again tried to blame us for it. I work in the medical field and let me tell you....I do not start chemo just because a patient reports that they googled what was wrong and think they have cancer. The owner of the shop tried to justify this by telling me that it was their recommendation that both the t-case and the transmission be fixed and yet I have text messages from the mechanic saying that it would run ok for a year or so with just a new t-case so that was not the position of their shop. After the owner yelled for some time and refused to tell me anymore of her reasoning she hung up on me. We will never be back there and I advise no one else to go there either! Go to a shop that can cover their overhead. Those businesses are normally more reputable.

This shop has always been very helpful and honest. The lady that usually works the counter is very kind and really knows her stuff. The guys in the shop are friendly and easy to talk to. They typically get me in and out in a reasonable amount of time.

Car broke down on our way home from camping and the gents at Action Auto got us in the same day and had us back on the road the next morning! They did a great job with our vehicle and were so helpful! Highly recommend using them for any automotive needs!

Not to often do you find a place of business that will go beyond what they need to do! I have been taking my cars to Action for 8+ years now for major and minor works, even tires! I have always been treated with respect and appreciated their honesty. They have always been upfront about cost and potential problems that could arise; From parts arrival time delays to time delays caused by other automotive issues. Not once have I ever felt they did not care. The entire crew including Tami have always made me feel like family. I understand that opperating a business such as this can be difficult , as my father owned his own automotive repair business..... and growing up in it, I also know a lot about cars . I have never been told something was wrong , and it wasn't. As a woman, so many repair shops will take advantage of that. Thinking that you won't know. I have never felt like this with them.Thanks Action Tire and Automotive for being kind,caring,respectful & honest. I tell everybody to go to you!!!

I was in town for my dad s surgery. I needed my tire fixed. AJ and all his staff did amazing work. Got me back to the hospital to be with my dad. God bless you guys. Want amazing customer service go to these guys. (Angus the puppy was so cutie too)
