I had a shifting problem in my 2017 GMC, happened during a family emergency when I needed to travel. Not only did he call and give updates he had it fixed within 2 days. Not with a new transmission but just a check ball that had failed. I was not only surprised at the quick service but the honesty of this shop. As a local business owner I will refer them to anyone who needs their services. These guys rock and gives me hope their are still people who care about their customers.

There the Best! (correcting googles one star by mistake?) Definitely 5 stars!They have replaced a transmission for our vehicle, that was done by another shop in town who did not do the job right. Ace Transmission fixed their mistakes!. They did such a good job that we have used them for our other vehicles and we will still use them.They are trustworthy and do excellent work and if for some reason there is an issue with anything they will make sure it is corrected and made right.Thank you, Brian and The Ace Transmission Crew!We highly recommend you!

Bryan was awesome! I had my car towed to him on a Thursday night and it was out of the shop by the next Friday. Very quick, best prices in town and HONEST. It was super helpful explaining everything and even offered advice when I asked. He was also very patient with me. Highly recommend!

In August of 2020 I had travelled from Minnesota to Loveland to bring my husbands ashes to Estes Park as he had requested prior to his passing. I had just put a new transmission in my Jeep just prior to leaving MN and noticed that transmission fluid had sprayed on my hitch and camper. The owner (I assume) of Ace Transmission correctly diagnosed the problem, filled the transmission fluid and assured me that I would be good to home and have the work done at my transmission shop in MN. He did not even charge me . I got home safely, Super nice, accurate in the diagnosis and even worked on my vehicle on a day he was not open. Fantastic service! I love the shop! They have serviced both of my Jaguars and Brian and his group are always honest, on time, stand behind their work and easy to interact with. These guys have worked on several of my vehicles and have always done a great job. They are straight up with you about what is wrong and and the service comes with a decent price at that. Highly recommend these guys to anyone looking to get treated fairly.

I highly recommend Ace Transmission and Clutch. I had my 2002 Honda Odyssey transmission rebuilt by Brian and his team of experts. The repair was done beyond my expectations with an excellent price. I shopped around and the estimate from Ace was by far the best. They even tried an alternate attempt to fix the issue to ensue we actually required a rebuild. Very honest shop and very good work. I recently returned from a 3000+ mile road trip and the van performed great. Thanks Ace!

Brian fixed the trans on my 1980 Chevy K10 that would not shift into 3rd and had a death clunk into 2nd. It's been about 6 months now and I have to say he (and his guys) did an excellent job. Smooth shifting and not a drop of trans fluid. Brian was honest up front and delivered on the workmanship side. Would definitely recommend. Thanks!

I have taken at least last 4 of my cars here for any midrange to major services. Brian's shop is the only place I will take my vehicle for repairs. I am a commuter and am extremely hard on vehicles. I have gotten screwed at some point by any other shop I have been to including the dealership. Ace transmission is fair and honest, always does great work. In over 6 years I have never had to bring a vehicle back for an unfixed or I'll repaired issue. He always does it right the first time! Thank you!

Been working with Brian/Ace for decades. He's extremely knowledgeable and knows the intricacies of the details that go into rebuilding a transmission; options I would never have considered. I highly recommend this shop! On the most recent transmission rebuild, my housing was cracked. It went unnoticed basically until the repair was complete. Brian found me another housing, and swapped all of the new components without charging any extra. Definitely ate the cost of time, and gave a discount on the housing which basically he threw in for free. A game plan was developed to avoid the common crack these transmissions were known for, which I never would have even thought of but definitely will be putting into place.

My son has a 2001 Civic that he depends on to commute to college, and I had to rescue him recently with a broken transmission. Being new in the area, I called my former mechanic in Indiana who recommended a couple of ATRA certified mechanics. I picked Ace, and they got my car right in. Mike called me the following day after their inspection, and was upfront with the potential price range to get it fixed. We went ahead with the repair, and was fixed on time, as promised, and nicely below the top estimate. Transmissions are generally expensive to fix, but Ace worked to keep the costs down. I do recommend these guys.... nice job.

We bought a high performance Challenger RT with the factory installed Hurst Shift. The shift was sticking if you parked on an incline to the point that you had to hit the shifter hard to knock it into Neutral. We took it to the Dealership, under warranty, and was told after two weeks that it was a "feature" of the high performance clutch, and that we should only put it in neutral when we parked.We took the car to Brian at Ace Transmission, who spent several days reading about similar accounts on the web, by other Challenger owners, and they were told the same thing. He researched and found the manufacturer of the clutch, and identified the cause of the issue, and FIXED it!!!!!!! So the money we spent for an extended warranty was a waste. But the money we paid to Ace Transmission resolved the issue. Ace has done a lot of work for us on our other vehicles. I cannot give him a ranking high enough to express our appreciation for his persistance and quality of workmanship!

I took my car here to get a transmission, clutch and flywheel replaced and the guys here did a great job. Fair prices and up front honesty. The place to go in Northern Colorado for honest service! Thank you Brian.

My daughter and i were on a road trip from Wisconsin to LA and noticed transmission fluid dripping under our car. We stopped by Ace Transmission first thing on a Monday morning and they quickly pulled our car into their shop to assess the situation. Unfortunately our problem turned out to be something that didn't merit an expensive repair job, but they helped us understand what was going on and how we could monitor the problem. Extremely helpful and friendly staff who didn't make two women feel like complete idiots.

After 10 years of doing business with them, I can say without hesitation that the staff at Ace Transmission are the most trustworthy and competent mechanics I have ever dealt with. Their pricing is always fair and I've never had an issue with their work.

Brought my truck here for transmission service , had a. Few codes popping up , truck came out a week later running back to normal , highly recommend if you have transmission problems no complaints whatsoever

I have had occasion to use the services provided at ACE 3 times in 6 years. Both in the old location on first and the new location on Monroe. Always been very satisfied with the work on my Dakota and my f150.

After 3 weeks of my mothers van sitting in their parking lot with a blown transmission, she decided to have it towed to a dealer for trade in and not fix it. She told ACE to just leave it alone and she would come get it. Within a day they took it apart BEFORE she got a quote and AFTER they were told to forget it. They wanted to charge her $800 to put it all back together, and she then lost her ability to use it as a trade in!!! She ended up having to pay ACE $500 and sent a salvation company to come pick up the van. After the salvation took the van, they had to go back and ask for the transmission and the catalytic converter which ACE tried to snag! These guys are crooks and run a shady operation. DO NOT USE them!

We are a sign shop here in Loveland and we have used Ace Transmission for multiple transmission and driveline repairs. Brian is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We get multiple quotes when considering repairs and Ace is by far the best option.

These guys are great, we run a general automotive repair shop and it s very hard reaching out to another shop for help in a something out of our range. Brian was very helpful and straightforward with his assessment.

Brian is our go-to guy for transmission issues. If you have problems with your transmission this is where you want to go .five other mechanics in town have recommended him for transmission stuff.

Even though they were not able to get me in before I had to leave town they gave me some great troubleshooting tips that identified the problem for me. The problem was not as serious as I thought and was able to take care of it myself. I'll definitely go back.
