BG Automotive was the only automotive repair shop in the area that would even talk to me about the issues I was encountering with my 2014 Infiniti Q50 hybrid.I received a diagnostic error code of P30EF, Li-ion battery problem, on my last oil change at the dealership. The only solution the dealership had for me was to replace the entire hybrid battery pack which, with parts and labor, is apparently a ~$20k process. Nothing else can be done , was their claim. I proceeded to do some research on the internet and low and behold, the Q50s do experience this issue at 100k+ miles. I continued to discuss the issue with the dealership asking if there is a recall or even what I could trade the car in for. They continued to wash their hands of the issue saying I couldn t even get an extended warranty now with this pre-existing issue and because it has the issue, they could only offer a trade-in of $500. At this point, I started to research purchasing a full battery pack myself and seeing if there was an automotive repair shop in the area that could install it. Every shop I called said they do not have the experience or equipment to work on a hybrid electrical system, except one; BG Automotive.I had brought my car in explaining the issue to see what their cost of replacing the hybrid battery pack would be, thinking that was the only solution based on the information I had received up to this point. Walker and his team proceeded to do their own root cause analysis and found that there were multiple electrical code issues that were not just related to the Li-ion batteries. That was news to me! They suspected that it was rooted from the 12V battery, which to my surprise (and theirs) was the original one that came with the car. They replaced the 12V battery ($164 + $29 labor), tested the entire electrical system, and all the error codes disappeared! I can now also pass the emissions test as they failed the car because of the check engine light (obviously unrelated to actual emissions but a story for another time as they would not budge either).Thank you to Walker and the team at BG Automotive for not just checking the box like the dealership but really digging into the root of the issue. This garage was so helpful and courteous as we were deciding what repairs were absolutely necessary for our son s older car when we live 1500 miles away. This garage came highly recommended to our son and we can totally see why. Highly recommend!

Great group to work with, took care of my vehicles issue and worked with my schedule. Also - I appreciated the extra info they provided regarding my vehicle (true it s sales oriented BUT was very informative and much more in depth than a typical pitch and with zero pressure).

We had a great first experience at BG Automotive. Thank you to Walker for his professionalism and kindness. We walked in needing to get a stud replaced on our tire and we walked out having new brakes and our transmission system repaired. We will definitely be back!

They got me in right away after suggesting a great tow company. I had a issue with my car dying on me and after it happened a few times , I called this auto repair shop. Walker was great, always answering the phone with professionalism and was patient on the phone. Also , I was happy I got my car looked at / diagnosed and fixed within 24 hrs from the time I had it towed into their shop. Also I loved that they had Patricia ( she also works there ) come pick me up from my house here in town when my car was ready and brought me to the shop so I could get my car. Not many repair shops do I know have that personable service for their local clients. After having 4 new tires installed on my Sprinter, I wanted to get an alignment.BG Automotive got me in the same morning that I called. They checked the vehicle, assessed the reason for it being out of alignment. Replaced the part and dialed everything back to where it needed to be. The guys at the front desk were super friendly and helpful.

Let's make this a two-part review.Part 1- My Pathfinder failed the emissions test. "Big Surprise," I've been fighting this problem for seven years. A friend recommended BG Automotive, so I stopped by and was blown away. I stopped by the shop and was surprised at the customer service I received.Ryan was working the counter and stopped what he was doing. He listened intently, looked over the emissions form, and wanted to see my truck. We went out, popped the hood, and Ryan looked at the engine to see if anything jumped out at him. Ryan went into the shop and had one of the guys come out to get his opinion. I don't remember his name (sorry), but I do remember that he ran outside so as not to make me wait. I gathered that they consider him the Yoda of emissions for the shop. He looked things over and gave me his opinion but said it would be best to drop off the truck so they could diagnose it.Part 2 - Dropped off the truck, and Ryan called later that day with an update. They called a couple of hours later and gave me the breakdown as to what they believed was wrong. They gave me options on how to proceed. So, in a nutshell, the truck is running lean, which means that this is NOT the O2 sensors that have been replaced five times in the past seven years. They believe that it is the Air Flow Sensors. They also diagnosed that my truck could use a timing chain replacement. I will swing by after the holidays to let them do the repairs.In Summary: The customer service was outstanding. The guys were amiable and knowledgeable, and the shop was clean. I couldn't find a reason not to recommend them to anyone.

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. They fixed my car quickly for a reasonable price. Were efficient and pleasant to deal with and didn't to pressure us to get more work than we needed. Will definitely be brong my car back if she has issues in the future!

These guys are great. They got me in same day, and did a very extensive assessment on the mechanics of my vehicle. They were prompt, courteous, and very professional. I would return and recommend them to anyone.

Great Business..Walker was wonderful explaining everything that was the problem with my vehicle. They got my Jeep running great. We really appreciate all their hard work with the multiple issues that were going on. Thanks to the whole crew there in Longmont!!

I have already left a review before, but this bares a second. Great shop all around! I just had to take my vehicle in for a warranty repair. They got it all done in one day. They are worth every penny, we will be going back again.

My husband has used BG in the past for his car, and I ended up having to take my vehicle in for multiple reasons. Everyone here is so accommodating, explains everything in detail, is kind, and very understanding. They also work as quickly as possible to make sure your car is back up to par. Great place good environment I felt like the guys were honest about my vehicle and recommendation on services. Because of it, I will definitely be back. Not to many shops out there that would be willing to work on a audi and have lots of knowledge about the vehicle.I recommend anyone out there having problems with their vehicles. I really really appreciated the quality service and honesty that BG Auto provides. Ryan fixed a lot of issues with my wheel bearing and alignment - also was able to answer all of my questions that I was worried about. Coming here solved a lot of anxiety I had about my car and I would definitely come back again if needed. Thank you for all of your help!

Referred here for suspension diagnosis (to get it alignable). Turns out it's another big-business shop -- not much help when you're on a strict budget. Example (paraphrased):"Loose bushings - Front Control Arms & Rack & Pinion/Tie Rods... REPLACE ENTIRE ASSEMBLIES WITH NEW OEM = $4500. PLUS, BTW, you need $2k-3k of other work on your beater work truck with 180k miles..."Hmm... I don't drive it all that much currently. What are my options just to get it alignable? [Like replacing the worst parts with my own sourced, and then just the bushings if the full assemblies aren't fuct? (As I found plausible afterward)] ...... ..."Well, if you go with us on the estimate, we'll waive the $90 diagnosis fee."I get it, really do (big business). But personally, I need a place where I can talk to the mechanic/tech and toss around ideas. I hate being sold to... Especially by someone who hasn't touched my truck.So this isn't my place.

Ryan is an exceptional Service Manager at BG Automotive. They always make sure my vehicle is in top condition before hitting the road and point out anything that may need to be addressed down the line but never pressure me into doing anything I can't afford. I had a terrible experience with this auto mechanic shop. I had P0299 check engine light for low turbo boost pressure. They charged $1880 to replace Crankcase Breather Assembly which turned out to be unnecessary and it didn t clear check engine light. They kept the car for one week for a simple replacement of Wastegate Actuator which they should have done in first place. They were incredibly unprofessional, didn't provide an accurate diagnostics and the repairs took much longer than promised. I came across BG doing some research on fair, honest mechanics. Their reviews are no lie. I come from a long line of mechanics in my family so I had accessibility to tools, supplies, and a lift I mostly tried to do my own work. My uncle has since passed so finding someone you can trust like family is hard. I thankfully can spot the bull from folks thinking I don t know anything about a car. I didn t see a darn bit of that at BG. The inspection itself spoke volumes. I don t think I ve ever been to a mechanic that pulls together a docket of photos, info, and needed repairs or possible time frames of when you d need something repaired or replaced ever. Ashley knows she s amazing. Everyone raves about her and it makes sense. They will choose the highest quality parts at the lowest possible price which means yeah, it won t be the cheapest you ll find. But will they warranty that for three years, parts and labor? I don t think so. Additionally, my diagnostic was free regardless of choice of if I could afford to repair it or not. Today, that s huge. Many folks are struggling so allowing someone to figure out what s wrong to make a plan for themselves is amazing for community. Great customer service. They were confident they could fix my car, they put in a lot of expensive work. Once they found out it was a much larger issue that they could not fix with what we already agreed on, they did not charge me for the work they did. Best mechanics I have ever worked with. They were very honest and wanted to help me the best they could, even though my car is pretty much almost toast. Ryan, the other customer service guy at the front, and the guy(s) who worked on my car were phenomenal. I will come back here for all my future cars.

Shocked at the high reviews. Although the process is polished and professional. Was quoted for way too many services as must repair. But the worst part is they completely misdiagnosed my car. I took one whiff of the report and drove all the way down to Boulder for a second opinion. I had a ugly noise coming from the front of the car. BG wanted me to replace front struts and rear shocks. My mechanic called me incredulously and said all I had was one compacted wheel bearing. I was provided with nice photos of my struts in a great looking report but that s all it is. Go find a mechanic you trust. Pocket feels much better with the couple grand I didn t have to spend.

Alignment service was they alligned my car and helped me understand what was happening with my steering.Honest check up was 0 's. They did a full service check, but shared things that weren't truly "red" areas after talking with a trusted resource that had managed and ran multiple mechanic shops. Mechanics need to at some point realize that customers don't like leaving the shop feeling like their car is going to fall apart. Fear shouldn't be your biggest motivator in service. Please. Don't always take their word for things. Make sure you check your resources and compare opinions.
