Littleton Auto Repair is top notch! I was in the Denver area when the starter went out in my van. I'm paralyzed and in a wheelchair and didn't have another vehicle I could use. It's not like I can hop into another one. It was towed to the repair shop late afternoon. The guys at the shop stayed after hours to repair my van ensuring I had transportation. Then they were kind enough to deliver my vehicle to my location as I didn't have any means to pick it up myself. To top off my experience, they refused the tip I wanted to give them showing my appreciation.I highly recommend Littleton Auto Service! They are caring, honest, and demonstrate lots of integrity!

Had some ac work done last summer. This April it wasn't cooling like it should. I made an appointment and they had the issue fixed in one day under their warranty. Littleton Auto Repair stands behind their warranty policy.

This place sometimes does make small mistakes like leaving the engine cover off, or giving a wrong time estimate to completion, but they are human mistakes that were followed with an apology and making things right. They took care of me on a Saturday and stayed until 9:30 PM just so I could have the car back the next day. Dave is the only one that has promised calls back without ever getting back to me, but the owner takes care of his customers.

Brought my car there. Told them the issues I was having. They had my car for a month. Claimed they fixed my issues, got my car back with the same exact issues I was already having. Plus they broke my oil cap. When I got my car back the first time, my oil cap was hovering over my oil fill, which was causing oil to leak, burn on my valve cover and smoke. Told them about it, they said they would order a replacement. Brought the car back a second time due to the "faulty parts" they installed, and to correct the original issues, plus the oil cap. Got the car back, another month later, 2 months total....same issues. They never fixed anything. I paid a little over $1600 just to get my car back the exact same, with a broken oil cap, which was still hovering over the oil fill. Plus, my mass air flow sensor was unplugged, dirty interior, my rear hatch shock absorber was broken off the trunk lid mount and the "fix" never being fixed. I asked to talk to the owner, Dave gave me a business card and told me to email the owners. Dave lied about everything, right to my face and over the phone... he told me everything was fixed, my car was ready, and here we are. Honesty is not a thing at this place. I emailed the owners the situation, and I still have yet to get a response. All in all, I went in for a clutch replacement, loss of power, throw out bearing. That is literally it...And they claimed it was all fixed. Took it to another mechanic, clutch was questionable as to if it was replaced or not, but the throw out bearing was beat up/the same and never replaced and I got the loss of power replaced due to a bad injector seal, (they replaced plugs, wires and a coil and claimed it was fixed but nope, wrong). Do not, and I repeat...DO NOT, go here. I am a reasonable person, but these guys are beyond shady. Maybe a Google review of the bad service I had will get the owners attention finally, following others that have had the same issues...after a year of my incident. And if you don't want to be screwed over like I was and others recently, I would highly recomment you take your vehicle somewhere else. If they made it right, I'd totally understand....but to take my money and for me to be ignored, lied to, and forgotten about... they don't deserve anything but a 1 star review.

Dave NEVER calls back. He'll say he will, makes a promise and never does. I have to constantly call for a follow up and he'll tell the same lie over again. He also always says the owner isnt available. I took my car in for the AC twice and still the same issue. Second time was free of charge but still same result

These guys used to be the main mechanic for both my Wife and I. After I took my car in to get it looked at, and the circumstances that unfolded, I will never be using this shop again. If you re thinking about going here, I would advise against it. I was getting a noise in my car that I thought was related to my turbo. When I got my car back they told me the turbo needs replacing. They also told me one of my wheel bearings is broken and needs replacing. Between the $6000 they quoted me for the turbo replacement, the roughly $1600 for the wheel bearings, and some other maintenance, I was handed a bill with an estimate around $10,000. I still paid the diagnostic fee which would not be contributed to any future repairs. I was at a loss. I started looking at trading in my car or selling it for a new one. I decided to make some phone calls and get other quotes. Finally I just decided to call the Subaru dealership. Their parts department explained to me that the cost of replacing the turbo through them, including all parts, labor and tax, would be around $3200 out the door. So half what my neighborhood mechanic had quoted me. This is the same dealership that my mechanic was sourcing parts from. They offered a cheaper diagnostic and any repair that would be needed that fee would contribute toward. They explained to me that the cost of the parts themselves is around $1800. Not the nearly $3,000 the other mechanic quoted me for parts. The dealership called me after diagnosing my car and explained to me that there is a recall for my vehicle. A loose boot on the exhaust manifold. So they tightened that bolt and I got my car back free of charge! I didn t even pay a diagnostic! The noise from my car was gone and there were no other problems. They also told me that I did not have a broken wheel bearing and didn t see anything that needed resolving. This was several months ago now and my car is still driving great with no issues. Taking my car to the dealership saved me thousand of dollars because of their integrity and truthful service. I would have paid my neighborhood mechanic all that money and never known they had ripped me off. To me this is the scariest kind of misinformation from a professional that we are supposed to be able to rely on and trust. Thank you Groove Subaru! Littleton Auto Repair you should be ashamed of yourselves for taking advantage of hard working people. You are the most dishonest group of mechanics I have ever dealt with in my life! I leave this story as word of caution to anyone considering a repair at Littleton Auto Repair. They have not shown themselves to be truthful or trustworthy. The only person I would say who has any sense of customer service and integrity is the long haired Dave. Overall 0/10 for this mechanic. Would highly recommend against getting any repair here. I have also had my A/C recharged here in the past and they added a liquid for detecting any leaks. After they recharged my A/C it still didn t work that well. A year later (summer of 2023) I had to recharge my A/C again. This time I had it done at the dealership, my A/C works like brand new and hasn t had any descrease in cooling power. Yet another thing to consider.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Air conditioning, Auto maintenance, Oil change

Dropped my car off Dec 27 for a head gasket repair. Was promised that a repair would be done by January 5th or 6th unless the head had to be machined. If the head needed to be machined, then it'd be ready around the 11th/12th. Seemed more than reasonable with the holiday coming. But, by the 12th, the car wasn't ready. Every time I called, I was told they would check on the job and call me back. Never got called back. I had to call again before closing only to be told they'd check on the job and someone would call me the next morning. This went on for two weeks. A long string of no-callbacks, and vague excuses and timelines (which continuously failed to be met). For a job with an outside estimate of Jan 12, I finally picked up my car on Jan 25. And for two weeks, I never ONCE got one single callback I was promised. Let alone a repaired car on the date I was given. No communication. No caring for the fact that they could be completely mangling the lives of a person by just holding their car for a month. Which yes, this screwed up life for my whole family as we juggled cars and timelines to get each other everywhere. This was after I had to turn in the rental car when it exceeded the budget I set for it. Cost me almost $700 in rental car fees over what it should have. Cost me and my family several missed events, and commitments as we improvised what to do when suddenly the car that was supposed to be ready today "might" be ready two days from now, three "at the latest" over and over. They exceeded their time estimate by over 100%. Not even an apology. Just a happy swipe of my credit card, and a 'have a nice day.'I gave two stars instead of one because a head gasket repair is a heavy repair and the car is running fine. And I am a fair man. It's idling rougher than it used to, but I don't give a crap if I have to pay someone else to look at that. I will NEVER put a car key in their hands again.

Run away and don t look back. This place is pure garbage. 10-20 broken down cars parked on the street at all times. Terrible service. Terrible mechanics. Terrible owner. I live in the neighborhood. A neighbor of mine had his rear glass sliding door shot out by the OWNER of this establishment thinking it was a good idea to do target practice on his backyard fence.

Came multiple times for the same issue and didn't get a solution. After they installed brand new parts I had the exact same noise driving out of the shop. Brought it back, they had the car for a few days, then same thing, same noise. Drove out with the same issue. Not going back, waste of money and time.

I went here prior to my most recent incident and everything was great. But then when I came back to have my truck s transmission looked at and have TPMS sensors, and fuel pump replaced then when I got my vehicle back after spending $2,144 I noticed that the transmission was still having problems, my gas gauge showed I was at half a tank of gas and I drove around for a few hours doing various things and it was still at half a tank. I finally pulled into the gas station to fuel up because I thought it was odd how the gas level never changed after that much driving. It cost me $87 to fuel up to a full tank. Usually I pay $65 for a full tank. That means my gas level was so low that I was probably about to run completely out of gas. After fueling up fully I turned my truck back on and my gas gauge still said I had only half a tank of gas. This means they obviously didn t work on my fuel pump like they were supposed to. Shortly after getting gas my tire light came back on. I checked my vehicle information and it showed me that two of my TPMS sensors were still dead. Just like they were before I took my truck to the mechanic to get them replaced. I drove to discount tire to ask them to check the sensors to see if maybe they just were not properly programmed. They told me that two of my sensors were dead. The front two sensors. I thought that was weird because before I dropped my truck off at Littleton Auto Repair my front two sensors worked fine and it was only my rear two that needed replaced because the rear two were dead. I told that to the discount tire guy and he said based off the wear on my tread he could tell that Littleton Auto Repair just rotated my tires. At this point I was absolutely furious and I even asked the discount tire guy if I could get a video recording of him telling me what he just told me so I could have video evidence to show Littleton Auto Repair. He agreed and I recorded him saying what he previously told me. I then drove to Littleton Auto Repair and spoke to David at the front desk and said I want to know why all of the things I paid $2,144 for were not even touched. Clueless David like always said let me go check that s this place s favorite phrase. They seem to never know what s going on with your vehicle any time you call or stop on in. They asked to have my vehicle again for the day and said I d probably get it back same day. Well that never happened. I called the next day and got the same response, you should get it back today well that second day came to an end and I still didn t get it back. The third day I called and asked the status of it and was told they would go check and they d call me back. About two hours later I got a call back and David said that my other two TPMS sensors need replaced for an additional $300. He also said my transmission would need replaced. They were trying to scam me out of $600 for two TPMS sensors because they thought I was stupid and would just pay that when in reality they didn t even change the two sensors to begin with. So they basically were going to actually fix the two broken sensors that they were supposed to fix originally after I paid them $600. I got a ride to the shop, got my keys and left. I will never return to this scam of a business. This place needs to be shut down. I will be contacting Fox 31 news problem solvers to get me my money back!

Littleton Auto Repair was able to get my car in within a couple days which I appreciated. I dropped it off and was called back with a diagnosis and they were able to get my car fixed the same day! I will definitely be bringing my vehicles back here.

A bolt broke when I was replacing my transmission fluid. Took my car to Littleton auto repair to remove the bolt and put a new one in. They are way overpriced $200 for 7 quarts of transmission fluid I could have got for $50 at my local auto part store and $135 to diagnose what was wrong. I told them exactly what needed to be done so not sure what they were diagnosing. Listen to other reviews and stay away from Littleton auto repair

Stay as far away from these people as you can. They lost their BBB accreditation recently due to unresolved complaints. Well add me as another. Only gave it one star because I had to and they paid to have my kids truck towed back home after 13 weeks. We had it towed to LAR due to a no start condition. Got a call a few days later and that was the last time they contacted me in the next 12 weeks. I called, stopped by, emailed, etc.... and they always pleasantly said they would get back the next day or the next week. Not once. There are 2 "Dave's" that work the counter and whichever one you get it's the other one your supposed to speak to. Very long story short I finally went and got the keys and towed it back home with a bag of parts they removed and grease on the cloth seats, carpet and door panel. When it's a relief you finally get a vehicle back, pay towing and it's basically in pieces it was bad. I personally would not spend one minute or dollar with these guys. I will also be contacting the BBB with my unresolved complaint.

Horrible experience. Drove my car in, had to get it towed away. Dave was very nice on the phone and assured my they would be able to diagnose and repair my car in 2 business days. That was a lie. Saturday and Monday came and went with with no communication from anyone. Tuesday morning I called to learn that they hadn't had time to look over anything but would get a call within an hour. That never happened. Thursday morning after no call, I reached out and was quoted $1,200 to get 2 new keys and a cable replacement and they were unsure this was even the problem. I declined any further evaluation and went to pick up my car. It wouldn't start. Was still charged $144 for the "diagnosis" without a real answer about what was going on. Ended up towing my car to a Ford Specialist shop (easy to google it) and they get everything fixed within 24 hours for half the cost and no BS. SUPER disappointing experience.Services: Electrical repair, General repairs & maintenance

DONT GO HERE. We went in to service our ABS sensors and they told us the ABS module needed to be replaced, of course a much more expensive part. They also said our catalytic converter needed to be replaced, which was weird since we just had our O2 sensor replaced at a muffler shop just a month before and they never mentioned it, but I m not a mechanic so we let them do the job. BIG MISTAKE. Not only did these jokers not fix the initial problem we came in for, but the cat converter they replaced didn t fit properly and our truck sounds and runs much worse than it did before. Plus they charged us 4x more for the part than it costs online. We went back, hoping these idiots would fix it, but they charged us an additional $700 to fix what we came in for originally. If you go here, pay with a credit card so you can dispute it when they screw your vehicle up.

On July 3, 2023, I stopped at Littleton Auto Repair and asked one of the employees if they did free estimates for brakes and alignments and I was told that they did. We then scheduled appointment for the morning of July 5, 2023. When I arrived, the individuals at the front desk thought that I was a walk-in and I promptly stated that I was there for the scheduled appointment for the free brake and alignment estimate that was made on July 3rd. I waited for approximately two hours and one of the employees that was assisting me at the front desk finally came into the waiting area and told me that my brakes looked fine and instead gave me a sheet with an estimate for the replacement of shocks and struts, which is something that I did not request. I then proceeded to ask him about the brakes once again, and he stated that they did not do a test drive, which I thought was odd since that was the main reason for being there in the first place - there was never any mention about the scheduled free alignment test. He then proceeded to have my care taken for a test drive and upon his return came back with a separate estimate for the brake replacement (that had no issues earlier) along with another separate estimate for the brake fluid flush and replacement along with numerous other miscellaneous items, which was also not something that I requested. When I was ready to leave, he asked me how I was going to pay for the diagnostic tests that were completed (which was something that I did not request nor was I ever informed that they would be completed with a fee). Consequently, I was presented with a bill for nearly $145.00 for something that I did not request nor was I ever informed that it would be completed and that there would be a fee involved. This was my first visit to Littleton Auto Repair, and it will be my last.

I have used this company in the past and had decent experiences. Now it seems that it is more important to take our money than get a repair done correctly. I set up an appointment for a particular day at 830am. They had my car the full day and never even called with a status. I called them and they said they would get back to me with a status by the end of the day. They never made an effort to call. I had to set up transportation for two days versus my appointment date only. The original reason for my appointment was a non working low beam on the passenger side. They finally called and said, "We figured out your problem. Your low beam bulb is burned out." I told them that we had two sets of new bulbs in a 72 hour period prior and bumps on the roads were creating electrical issues. I had already checked fuses, checked for relay and switch issues, which were uncommon for a single headlight being out. They also looked at my brakes, and told me I needed new front brakes. I had them done about 30k miles prior to them, but I rejected their repair price and did them myself at home that day. I also rejected the head light bulb replacement as they wanted over $50 for a single bulb plus excessive labor for a replacement that that takes 30 seconds. When I arrived at home the passenger side bulb was working but the opposite drivers side was out. I called them and asked how it was a bulb issue when the opposite bulb was now out, showing they either lied about the bulb being burned out or they used my old bulbs in the wrong sockets. I also found the cap was off my brake fluid from the diagnostic. They forgot to put it back on. When I picked up my car, I was expecting a straight $135 diagnostic, but instead, in addition to taxes they charged fees for shop towels and other service fees. Their pricing is not transparent, so be prepared to pay more than they quote. Also, when I paid at the end, he ran out of paper to print an invoice. He said he would email me with the invoice. It never came. Before the pandemic they seemed like a much better company. Now it is the same old nonsense we get all over. Money over service and an inability to stick to appointment times. Why have an appointment if they are just going to keep your car for several days anyway and you have to be the one to communicate? Now I need to find a company to take care of my headlight and pay another diagnostic fee so they can find the real issue.Service: Electrical repair

Dave and the team took great care of me and my Mazda for brake replacements and some general maintenance. It was incredibly refreshing to take my car to a shop and not be met with a laundry list of action items. They truly are the friendliest shop in town and even offered to pick me up or drop me off, and were very accommodating with an early morning pickup right at open so that I could make it to work. Will definitely be back for my next service!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Auto maintenance

Great experience! It was my first time at Littleton Auto Repair. I was referred by a neighbor and I was not disappointed. My car had stalled intermittently when I was trying to get home from errands. I took my car there and they diagnosed it and repaired it in a shorter time than I expected. They were friendly and helpful from the time I first walked in until I left when I picked up my repaired vehicle. It s running great! I have found my new auto repair shop!Service: Wheel alignment

I would like to share my experience with Littleton Auto Care. 3/20/23 we left my 2016 Ford Focus to have the double clutch replaced. Our car was perfectly drivable when we left it at the garage. Months later on 6/26/23 the clutch replacement was completed. It cost a total $2554.61 and our car was no longer drivable! The Ford Dealership said that Littleton Auto Care apparently damaged our transmission when they installed the clutch. So, after waiting 3 months for the repair, many phone calls, no car to drive for 3 months!!! having to pay $2554.61!!! for the clutch repair and the loss of our transportation/no longer having a very nice dependable car to drive, we are just absolutely distraught over our experience with Littleton Auto Care. There is nothing left to say.

I ve gone back and forth on making this review They ll probably know me as Catherine with the Chevy equinox who called pretty much every day for 5 months while my car was there for an engine replacement (the first one had failed after a few months, and I didn t have a copy of the warranty which is in the end my mistake). Before the first engine replacement, I had brought my car in for brake pad replacement. They had called that it was ready, I paid for an Uber and got there they had called the wrong person. I had to wait two hours.Fast forward to the engine replacement, the 2nd time around. Two weeks and I m calling every day, they re fighting with the warranty company , fine. They finally give me a pretty bad loaner car that I had to fill the gas tank and the wiper fluid on myself. But at least they gave me a loaner, which is why this review is 2 stars not 1.5 months of I ll call you back , and it was always me calling Dave and David. I had called in tears just begging for answers constantly. I understand their apologies and frustration and embarrassment, but it was the most horrific experience I ve ever had with any company in general. It all started with the brakes and first failed engine, and the 2nd engine experience is what made me not return. My car was given over to Chevy and they had fixed it in about a week and a half.I wish they had called when they said they d call, I wish I had not gone back after the first engine failed, there s a lot on my part I could have done to avoid spending as much as I did. Dave did sit down with me the day I got my car back and apologized, but this has been such a traumatizing experience. I was never offered any reimbursement, let alone like a free oil change or something after everything was said and done.Sorry Dave and David, I really didn t want to make this review but that was an honestly terrible time for everyone involved.Service: Engine repair

I've been with them for a handful of months and needed to stop by twice to have them take a look at my vehicle and both times they've been amazing to work with!! Some great professionals that were welcoming, knew what they were doing, great customer service all the way around, were able to work with my schedule and never left me in the dark on what was going on! Couldn't ask for better service, highly recommended these guys!!! Thanks again to the team!

We ve used Littleton auto repair for years but the the last few times they ve been exceptionally rude especially Bobby. Worst of all he has misinformed us multiple times. We brought it in a few weeks back for some engine repairs and he cited 4 separate prices. When we asked him to clarify he said he ll repeat it as many times as needed. He then cited a 5th price. Almost a week later the vehicle started smoking we had to bring it in again and when discussing the issue Bobby confidently stated it was the issue we passed up last time when the only thing we passed up last time was the suspension when telling him this he brushed it off like I had no idea what I was talking about. Littleton auto repair seems to have lost the charm they used to have in both professionalism and efficiency. I would never take my car back there again. Manager said my car would be ready in two day s took over a week. Also I was quoted a price by the same manager, when my car was finally ready the quote went up by 350$. When asked why the increase the manager simply said that s the price I quoted you. I showed him the email and he gave an excuse of the labor was more then he expected. Never again.

The gentlemen at this shop offered me excellent service and helped me find the best cost option even when it meant referring me to a dealership because the part is under warranty. I cannot stress enough how kind, informative and helpful they were during a frustrating experience. The integrity of this shop is top notch and I will definitely be returning for future needs. Thank you!

Finally - A local repair shop you can trust and count on! Brought my car in because it was running very poorly, was told the timing belt had slipped and killed the motor. The car wasn't worth a new motor and I was in the middle of moving so they were very kind to hold the car for me until I could figure some things out - several months. All the staff, and I do mean everyone, were incredibly friendly, helpful, and a pleasure to deal with. Fees were UNDER par for what needed to be done. Pricing is very reasonable and turnaround time was very quick.I will be bringing my vehicles here for all service and repair needs.

Absolutely horrible experience here. Long story short. I brought my truck in for severe misfiring. In they're diagnosis there was sludge and i needed the valve covers and solenoids. I distinctly asked about checking the timing chain while it's open if there is sludge or looseness as it is common in the f150 ecoboosts. They said it was fine. Felt sluggish and not right at all pulling away. Instantly started looking for other shops and opinions. Wasnt quite sure why i was getting it back obviously driving better but not rigjt at all. Next day light came right back on and truck went downnin limp mode. Another shop then had to redo the same labor cost to remove valve covers, get new seals and go through same process to do the timing chain. Lost 2g there in labor based on negligence because they didnt check the tomong chain like i asked. Then the other shop that does correct work spent 3 more months and thousands tracking down what was still wrong with it . The guys here put "oe type" spark plugs and solenoids in causing issues I spent thousands trying to find. Other shop was dumbfounded at the cheap non oem spark plugs they put in and all issues were gone when replacing. Didnt check there first because they were new. This place charged more than the other shop for the spark plug job and didnt even order trustworthy parts that had me in and out of the shop for months. No one ever called me back to talk about any of this. Lazy work. Charge top price for cheap products that go in instead of oem ford parts. They cost me 5g in redoing labor and trial and error elsewhere and correcting theyre mistakes. Terrible mistake coming here that really ruined the last 6 months of my life. Terrible experience. Don't let them fool you up front.

If I could do no stars I would. I had an appointment for drop off at 9:30am on a Monday. Told it would take a day or two to diagnose it. I called Tuesday at about 3:30. just to get an update, they said it was being looked at in the bay. They said they d call us back with an update. I live right by the shop and saw at around 5, it was parked in the same spot I dropped it off at. Went in to ask and they said it was in the queue to get looked at ? Not sure why that wouldn t have been said in the first place. I also Got a lot of I ll call you back jn 10 minutes when I d call to get an update. And they would never return my calls. I had to constantly check in for 5 days straight. And it would ve been more if I hadn t insisted that they give me keys back. Still charged me a 150$ diagnoses fee. And Dave (guy with long hair at front desk) was very disrespectful to my boyfriend and I who were expressing frustration with the process. Definitely would not recommend and definitely will never go back.
