The absolute best excursion! I'd never driven a snow mobile but the guide (Michael...I think) was the best at explaining everything before we started and it was so fun! The views were beautiful! I will definitely be back to do this again.

Tour guide was nice and made sure everyone stayed together. The views were beautiful but I expected this to be more adventurous. I felt like we just went about 20-25 mph the whole time. This is understanding through tight trails but the wider trails would have been nicer to go faster. They also ask you to tip your guide and pay for pictures. They wanted $150 for the pictures & there wasn t that many. I luckily kept my phone out and took a bunch as we were driving (I was in the very back so could get away without holding anyone up)

Truly a fun and beautiful experience. I do think it was a bit pricey but the views were gorgeous. They gave us the opportunity to rent some of the gear we didn t have which was super helpful. I would recommend wearing 2+ layers of clothing especially if you re sensitive to cold weather. I would also encourage taking pictures of your snowmobiles until after the tour is over just to protect yourself in general. Overall we had a great time & we will be back again!

Grand Lake facility-Very friendly, knowledgeable and eager to help. We chose the 4 hour self guided trip, received great directions from friendly staff, and reasonably priced accessories as we were short some goggles, and snacks/water if you need it. Wonderful trails, beautiful scenery, but for the damage from the 2020 fire. Highly recommended family fun! Will be back!

Feb 19th Morning trip was great! Upgraded sled to All Mountain sled. It was fast and reliable. It had been a long time since I had been out in CO and was worried about knowing where to go without a guide. It was very clear as map matches the trail signs. Was easy to navigate and never felt lost. Workers recommended a route for a four hour tour.. we got half way around that route in one hour and did an extra loop toward Gravel play area to burn more time. Bring your goggles. They have coveralls, helmets(with go pro mountain), and boots to borrow. Use there stuff it s high quality and worked great.

Big Ben and crew in Grand Lake were outstanding! Safety first and great snowmobiles. Helped us enjoy the tails all over the mountain. Highly recommended!

We were able to go snowmobiling right after some fresh fell the night before. It started out with a very friendly crew working the shop to get us setup and geared-up. Then out to the machines where our guide Kari was amazing! She helped us feel comfortable driving the machines and took us on some great trails, including some narrow paths through some of the most beautiful areas; scenes right from a winter postcard. I highly recommend this experience!

These guys took really good care of us. Awesome staff and machines were just right. We had an incident on the trail and they were quick, courteous, respectful, and professional. We'll be back for sure. Oh, and go for the Grand Lake location. A little cheaper and a lot of great trails for a variety of skill levels.

The staff is super friendly! We had an amazing time in the mountains above Grand Lake on Stillwater Pass. The sleds looked brand new and ran great. The weather was perfect, the views were amazing. It was a blast. Rob and Cheevers new the area really well and were great guides. If you're on the fence about doing it, don't be, it's worth it. So much fun! And Shayla was incredibly helpful with making the reservation, she answered all my questions!

Amazing experience! Staff was extremely friendly and informative! Rented (3) single snowmobiles, but my sister decided to ride tandem with me at the last minute. We did the 4 hour unguided tour and we will definitely be back! Trails were so easy to follow with ranging curves and breathtaking views! All equipment was in excellent condition and complimentary helmet and DOT boots were very well kept, highly recommend this place!

WOW! Can't believe we lived in Colorado all these years and never rode a snowmobile before. Strongly recommend the 3-hour guided tour. Afternoon tours are bumpier, but warmer. Bring a snack and a good camera.

This was the highlight of our Colorado trip. We drove from Denver a 2 hr drive but well worth it. The views are breathtaking and the trails are easy to follow. The workers are super informative and friendly. We felt very welcome here. I absolutely loved it. Definitely will come back when I visit here again

We went snowmobiling at Winter Park with Jake as our guide. It ended up being myself and my 3 brothers with just Jake as the guide. We had a blast and were able to go at a fairly quick pace, which was comfortable for us. Took some great scenic pics and had fun.

We had a great time snowmobiling! The guys at grand lake were awesome. Super accommodating and gave us great instructions and tips. There are boots, jackets, and helmets that are free to use with the rental. Highly recommend grand adventures if you re looking to hit the trails.

The views were nice and our guide was friendly and knowledgeable. About 10 snowmobiles in our group, most people went slow on the trails and since it was a 3 hour tour we apparently missed out on one location stop because of that. Would be 5 stars otherwise. The guide did go fast and stop at intersections to wait for the slower people to catch up, so the few of us that were comfortable with speed were able to go fast at least.

What a time we had! We rented 2 sleds for 4 hours. The guy that gave us our safety overview was very friendly and helpful, and he even made sure we moved it along so we got our full 4 hours of ride time in. I'm from new england and was so impressed by the signage on this trail system. I usually ride in NH and their trails are not marked nearly as well. There was good variety of terrain and altitude, and fun parks to get in and safely open up the throttle. Ride a reasonable speed, stay on the groomed trail and dress warmly and you'll have an amazing day and memories to cherish long after.

This place totally deserves an amazing review! My husband and I went Snowmobiling for the FIRST time with Mike at Grand Adventures. He was absolutely fantastic, he made me feel at ease about driving with my aniexty at an all time high. Mike was a great guide, casual (I was super worried about having a stickler) , nice, knowledgeable. We will definitely be back! Thank you so much!

Fantastic experience start to finish. From booking and subsequent conversations to add sleds all the way to turning them in at the end. The staff was amazing. It goes without saying but the trails and views were spectacular. We did a four hour unguided tour and had no issues finding our way around the marked trails and fun open spaces to let loose a little! Thanks Grand Adventures!!!

My group had an awful experience with their company. We had a 10:45 appointment and we called an hour and a half before to tell them we were going to be late due to traffic. They told us we had until 11:30 to get there. We got there at 11:23 and they said they couldn t do anything for us; no rebook, no refund, nothing. We had to argue with them for basically 30 min just so they can tell us we could book another tour for a 15% charge in addition to the 900 that we already paid. The staff was not helpful, everyone was telling us something different. They seemed to have NO communication with each other because none of the things anyone was telling us seemed to be aligned with each other. No manager or supervisor even attempted to help, we had to go out of our way to get our help. I understand that being late due to traffic is not their issue but they could be a bit more accommodating because things do happen and we were in constant communication with them while being assured we could figure things out. We were terribly unpleased with EVERYTHING that went down with this company. I hope that they take this experience and perhaps try to find a way to accommodate guests when these situations do happen. The snowmobiling itself was average the actual snowmobiling staff explained the safety and regulations very well. They were very helpful on getting us on and off the equipment. Everyone else we encountered on the phone and in person while registering were absolutely not helpful and RUDE!

Such a blast!!! Couldn t have been more pleased. HUGE trail system, so much room to really get out there and play. Great right trails off old forest roads, mixed with big open play parks to get your need for speed fix. Awesome brand new machines, selection of 3 choices. Very helpful staff. Opted for the unguided rental, and had never been before. Got stuck a couple of times, you can get off track if you re not paying attention. But plenty of folks out on the trails, we were helped by some good samaritans and they helped pull us out of the powder. If you re adventurous I def recommend driving the extra hour out to grand lake and getting the full back country experience. Definitely do the 4 hour rental at least. And don t be an idiot like us and get stuck in powder, it s much easier than you think if you re not on a sled designed for it. Next time, I ll definitely try and stick to the trails or rent one of the powder sleds!! Couldn t have asked for more. Such a great experience. Will be back!!! Thanks so much guys, we had a wonderful time.

Did the 8 hr unguided tour in grand lake. It was the best part of the my trip to Colorado. Little Ben and big Ben did a great job at showing us the ropes. Would recommend this outfit to everyone. Great time, good prices, nice new machines and awesome views. Will be back to try the side by sides in the warmer months for sure.

This was our first time snowmobiling, and I'm so glad we chose Grand Adventures. These guys are experts, and did a fantastic job of teaching and preparing us before we went out. We knew exactly what to expect on the trails. The sleds ran great, the price was fair, and The Grand Lake Boys were all friendly and great to deal with. We'll definitely be back.

5 stars for staff at store5 stars for beautiful countryThe rest of my rating depends on who you are. This is a rental business and I am sure they are controlled by liabilities and attorneys as to what they permit. If you want to pay a couple hundred dollars for an unguided rental that is controlled by the ski doo learning key that controls performance, go 25 mph on trails and be limited to where you can ride by grand adventure signs, go for it as it was nice for that type of riding - if not find another adventure while in town. Also, I am sure the company has had people try to screw them over on damage so they really go through damage before and after riding. We did not have damage and an ok checkout, but I recommend you take a video of the checkout process with the staff who checks you out before you ride...your call.
