Rare find of a great local shop with honest diagnosis and pricing that is transparent. Friendly and approachable experience. Also willing to work on cars that others say only the dealer can work on. Will be coming back for sure.

Brought my 74' Datsun 260z track car in, alignment was done incredibly fast and its the first time in a long time the steering wheel has tracked perfectly straight. Very good work for a very good price!

Showed up Monday morning at opening to get an alignment. The man there asked if I had an appointment. I informed him that the website doesn t say anything about needing an appointment to which he responded doesn t say anything about walk-ins either. You should ve called . Well my incident happened on a Saturday and they re closed on the weekends.He did manage to fit me in and then informed me that my control arm was bent. I was appreciative and went home to fix my issue. Tried calling back two more times that day to schedule an appointment for the following day for an alignment, and never got an answer. I then showed up before 5pm during their hours, and they were already gone.In hindsight, I m glad I got treated so poorly because I found somewhere else that us a better attitude and is ready/willing to work.

First off.. The owner/technician is a grumpy old man with a serious chip on his shoulder. Not pleasant to deal with.. Acts put out even to answer the phone, and even worse in person. You get what you pay for..a cheap alignment! After alignment, my steering wheel was off and crooked worse than when I brought it to him, so I brougt the vehicle back a second time to which he took it in, and said he did another alignment, and the steering wheel was still crooked. Called back and even offered to bring in two more of my vehicles for alignments if he could fix the first one. He would not warranty his work and said there's nothing more he would do. Now I have to drive with my steering wheel pointed left to drive straight.. hardly living up the the name Straightline alignment.Service: Wheel alignment

This is absolutely the BEST place in Fort Collins for an alignment. Called 6 other places, all quotes over $100 plus some pitched 20-point inspection which I did not need. Straightline quoted $89.95 with next day appointment. Not located in high-rent industrial area. Service finished in 20 min. My Lexus was put on the rack, specs taken and printed, did not need an alignment, charged $40 for his time. If you are going anywhere else you are wasting your money. Took my truck here to get an alignment. Thought I had a great experience truck seemed fine but it turned out all the lower control arm bushings were bad and the rack bushings were bad. Why not tell me that and not make me waste my money on an alignment!!

Rod is an all star. It s super hard to find a mechanic that is honest. You can trust Rod to get it done, get it done considerably cheaper than other places in town, and get it done quickly. Best mechanic I ve ever dealt with.

I can't express with words how grateful I am to this shop. Theybare top notch and TRUSTED. He just wants to get you on the road asap and doesn't try to upsell you anything. He is fast, super nice, and cares about his work.I was quoted over 2500 for a series at a very well known local shop. Took it here, and it cost me a couple hundred bucks.If you need work done on your front end or steering, this is THE MOST TRUSTED MECHANIC IN FORT COLLINS!Thanks so much! I took my truck to Rod to get a second opinion after a local car dealership told me they couldn't align my vehicle because it needed all 4 upper and lower ball joints replaced. They quoted me at over a $1000 dollars to do the work. Thankfully a friend recommended Rod, so I gave him a call. Turns out I needed one lower ball joint and the alignment went perfectly. He seriously saved me and my wallet. I've been going to him ever since.

Have to say I called everywhere to get my Honda aligned and every place even honda said they couldn't do it. Called this place and got me in next day. I showed up 10 mins early from my appointment and they got me right in. Took maybe 30 mins or less. Awesome service and price was spot on. Will always go here now.

Ron is great and really knows your car and how to care for it best. I am impressed that he is always looking out for you and not performing work that is not required. He is honest, fair and a great mechanic. He is the guy you want to take your car to for work. I Highly recommend him!

They quoted me at over a $1300 dollars to do the work. Thankfully after seeing online reviews I gave them a call. Turns out the parts were all perfectly fine and alignment could be done. They seriously saved me and my wallet. I highly recommend this place.

Rob was completely honest, open, knowledgable and efficient. He really knows his stuff. A couple months ago I brought my BMW 335i xDrive to him with an issue. My car was pulling to one side, but only over potholes or bad roads with washboard surfaces. After I had changed my own brake pads, rotors and installed a new front drive axle myself, I brought my car to him and explained the issue. I was worried the axle nut perhaps wasn't torqued to the right spec (over 300 ft/lbs!). He got my car right in on the alignment machine and moments later came to the front office to get me and show me that all alignment settings were already within spec. He even then checked the axle nut torque and found it was just fine, too. He helped me diagnose the issue, which were the front struts and rear shocks. I replaced those myself, later. My experience was outstanding with Rob and I would highly recommend him. After all he did to help me, he wouldn't even accept anything from me in payment. He did all that for me no charge. Gave me a lot of peace of mind. Very pleased.

I made an appointment for my car to have the alignment fixed, I showed up early, they took my car into a bay, 25 minutes later I was handed my keys back and my bill was $89.95. Was having some strange vibrations when accelerating over 70mph and was convinced it was some kind of alignment issue. Was at the point that the tires had worn badly and were bald on the inside and outside of the tread pattern. Literally the day before a road trip (PERFECT!). I make an appointment to bring in the truck for an alignment last minute. They took one look at the tires and pointed out that I hadn't got my tires balanced (my fault) and recommended NO alignment and just to get a few new tires. Not many mechanics will be super honest with you and turn down a few bucks, but these guys did and was quite refreshing and surprising. Even though I got free advice and no services done, I would 100% go back to this shop for repairs in the future because of their honesty and genuineness.

I went to Rod at straight line for the first time recently and i WILL be going back. He did a great job on my car, and as a former auto tech I know when someone is trying to give me the run around or perform sub standard work. I trust Rod and plan on taking my other vehicle to him as well. Did I mention he has the cheapest alignment in town? It's a win win.

Rod is the best there is! We've taken our cars to him for over a decade now, including our teens (and now college age kids' cars) and ALWAYS receive top notch service at a very fair price. I can't say enough great things about Rod!

Seriously, the best. My husband and I tried two other "well known" alignment shops in Loveland and Fort Collins trying to get his truck properly aligned. Ruined a set of tires before we found this gem. He worked with me over the course of two days and two new tires. We will never go anywhere else. Do yourself a favor and give him a whirl. In a sweet little neighborhood near old town.

Rod is the man (owner/sole proprietor). He s worked on multiple vehicles for me over the last 3 years. His experience and workmanship is at the top of his field, and his prices are very reasonable, with no BS. He is a rare find in today s auto industry.

Rod is meticulous, quick, diligent and affordable. I take all my vehicles here for alignment and much more. He does general auto repair along with alignment and his work is impeccable. These days, its extremely hard to find an honest and trustworthy mechanic, Rod & straightline are rhe exception. As long as Rod & straightline is in business, I will continue to take all my vehicles to him as well as refer anybody needing alignment, oil changes, brakes, really any general auto care as long as he is in business. Call Rod, you wont be disappointed. BTW, i LOVE the old school auto shop feel in the turn and burn auto repair industry we currently are in.

Performed alignment on my son s Subaru Forester quite a while back. Rod told me the problem was mostly with the tires. They were also getting worn and needed replacing. Replaced the tires a day later and the car has driven straight ever since. Will return here for future alignments on my vehicles. Straight shooter and honest.

Best alignment place in town!! Took my car in, Rod checked it out and told me my control arm was bent, left with no charge just told to bring it back after I replaced it. I have brought him 3 cars now, all A+++ service. I can usually get a same day appointment.

Had an alignment done. When I went to pay was informed that the rear upper control arm was worn. When I asked if it the tires would wear more because of that was told "possibly". Technician said he would realign if I replaced the rear control arm. Excessive tire wear happened. I replaced the rear control arm during which time a strut was also found in need of replacement. Called back today to set up an appointment. The technician was rude stated he "doubted" this happened and if I wanted a realignment I would have to pay full price.

My daughter is in college 100 miles away and had made contact with a curb. I had her take the car to Straightline Alignment for an assessment. Rod was not only expedient and thorough in taking care of the problem but he was very kind to my daughter throughout the repair process. I now feel that a have a place where I can send my daughter if she has a car issue.

Alignmnet was done well. When I brought my truck to Rod the first time and had siezed camber bolts he gave me advice and didnt charge me. Just went back after having parts replaced and got the alignment done very well. Rod can be hard to communicate with but he does very good, honest work.

Very honest and straightforward alignment shop. He's done a few cars and always been honest, shows you his work, provides any info he can. My car was making noise, and he diagnosed a bad drive shaft in just a few minutes, and he was right.

Really great guy. Helped me with some tire rubbing in my fender and did an alignment for me. Price was good and got it done quick
