Joe and his team are awesome. Communication and transparency about work done was great. Work gets done super fast. Overall, would recommend this shop to anyone and will be the place I take my car for any future work

Simple fix, didn't go into more until I said yes. The commraderie was great. The ability to get the work done timely will be a major reason to go back. Still got heat!!

They do decent work, very fast. But their labor and pricing is on the higher side. 140hr plus they charge you the highest amount of time that's estimated for a job. I had a tie right d replaced there, 2hrs labor I was charged! Plus $200 for the parts! I looked it up I can get it in and outer tie rod for 50 bucks and the job was estimated to be a half hour to an hour max.

This is my number one pick for a mechanic in Northern Colorado. I wish I had gone to them sooner with other vehicles. They are trustworthy, affordable, quick and guarantee their work. I highly recommend Rocky Mountain Automotive!

I think that RMA is the best value in Fort Collins for auto repair and servicing.In 2020 our 2004 Subaru Outback, with 200,000 mils on it, had suspension issues. RMA installed new struts and did adjustments and alignment that got the car back to work. Just before Christmas a headlight bulb went out. I took the car in and asked them to fix the light and to look around for anything that might need service. They gave us a call to say that they had found leaks in the struts. I winced because this could be an expensive repair. Instead they told me that they would treat this as a warrantee repair at no cost to me. The job was done next day.Several times over ten years, I've taken the car in telling them that something needed replacement and they've told me that they could fix it with no parts cost. Integrity, Honesty and Skilled work says it all.A year later I have another reason to compliment RMA. This time a serpentine belt went rouge and came close to breaking off. RMA looked at every pulley and did replacement/test on most of them. This involved ordering replacement units and this took a week. The charge was reasonable. A month later a completely different, very loud, clatter showed up again. I took it back and Joe told me that this was covered by his guaranty. Again, new parts were needed. I offered to pay for them and Joe refused.The Subaru is running smoothly now.This is an example of honesty and great customer service.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Electrical, Wheel alignment

We have been customers here for years, and they have worked on all of our cars old and new. Had our thermostat replaced this past Friday. They are always reliable, honest, and easy to communicate with. Very thankful for this team.

I'd give 6 stars if I could! Highly recommended!Tow truck driver recommended them when my camper van wouldn't start. Could have sold me a new fuel pump, but instead found a bad ground wire connection. Back to the road in 24 hours.Thank you Joe!

Joe and his crew do quality work with quality parts. Joe and his crew have kept my 04 chevy suburban in excellent condition for over 4 year. She starts, runs and stop like she's new. The interior got a beautiful cleaning. Joe's shop is my shop of choice. They've kept me running for many years and several vehicles. Thanks Guys. I usually never write a review for anyone, but thought this was needed.I was taking my classic car out for a drive when it started smoking. Thank goodness I was close to this automotive shop and the owner saw me and came out. Not very many people can work on cars like this but the owner Joe lifted up the engine and told me he doesn t think it is anything more than a busted hose. Even though his parking lot and shop is full of cars he took the time out of his day to fix mine.He called me to come and pick it back up a few hours later which I was so surprised that I wasn t able to get it until the next day. And when I went to pick it up he only charged me $58 when any other shop would ve probably charged me five times the amount.This is the way businesses should be run. I will refer him to every single person that I know.Joe the owner is a class act guy.Thank you for your honesty you don t see that very often these days.Service: General repairs & maintenance

I m traveling from CA to CO to MT to OR and WA and use my van as transportation and accommodations most of the time. My Brake Switch went out and I bought a new one at the parts store. I couldn t get it in so I stopped by and Joe came out n fixed it in 3 mins and told me Happy Birthday (it was Tuesday). I see why his shop is so busy. What a great guy. I did give him my Peach Cobbler from BeauJos that I had just picked up. It made him smile so I m hoping that was a good trade . Tony M

Wow! I am so pleased with the service I received. I was in dire need of brakes and aware of other issues with my car. Joe was very helpful in listing the issues, in order of importance, with prices for everything. I had my front brakes and rotors done, in 2 hours, for a very fair price! I will be back after the holidays to work down the list of repairs needed. Thank you all so much for your dedication to superb, honest service!

I took my pick up to these guys with an emergency brake fix late in the afternoon and they stopped everything and took care of me!! They got the parts right away and knocked it out of the park! The guys in the shop are really nice and are the best in town! They are super professional and treat you great! I will be recommending them to anyone that has vehicle issues and will be using these guys from now on for all my preventative maintenance needs!

Joe and Jordan were able to get my truck started in a very timely manner. They were both very professional whenever they were on the phone with me. They even had to deal with me misplacing a few bolts which they replaced. I will be using them for any future repairs my vehicles may need.

Very nice local auto shop. Had an appointment for an oil change and was taken care of right away. It didn t take long, and it was very reasonably priced. Great way to support local businesses when they are comparably priced to the large chains

I went into Rocky Mountain Auto on a friend's suggestion and boy was I glad I did. I needed the transmission flushed in my Honda Civic and not only did Rocky Mountain Auto charge me less compared to other quotes I received from other auto shops in Fort Collins, Joe took the time to make sure my car even needed a flush (it did) and then explained how the flush worked for my car. I also mentioned that after my most recent oil change, it was recommended that I flush the power steering as well. Once the transmission was done, Joe showed me under the hood - both where the power steering fluid and transmission fluid containers were located. He let me know that the power steering was good to go - no flush needed. I would go back in a heartbeat - honest, fair and overall a great auto shop in Fort Collins.

This shop is awesome! They do great work and they do it fast. Been going here for about 5 years now, and they always take care of my issues on the first go. Further, lot's of times they come in under estimate. Frequently after taking the car in because "we heard a noise" or "it's doing this weird thing" they check it out, fix whatever minor thing was the problem, and let us drive away, no charge. Super helpful shop, interested in keeping your car running and you happy, not in racking up extra charges on your bill.

The workers at rocky mountain auto are in my opinion the best shop in town. Their prices are below the others which can often times be overly generous to the pocket book without cutting corners and skimping on work. They do not try and push and shove things onto you but simply tell you the down and dirty and what could happen. I have been taking my vehicles here for 10 years and through it all no bad experience has come from it. The staff as well have always been nice and answered any and all related questions I have had.

I brought my car in for a couple of issues. When one of them wasn't caught and more issues seemingly popped up, Joe was super helpful and honest. They made sure to get me a loaner car when I had to bring it back in. Mechanics tend to get a bad rap for dishonesty and these guys are on a whole other level. Highly recommend!!

I started coming here when I moved up to Fort Collins ten years ago. I have been a loyal customer since. When I got married I convinced my hubby to start bringing his Volvo there because I spoke so highly of Rocky Mountain Auto. Over this past summer we brought the Volvo in for an oil change and basic maintenance. A few hours later I get a phone call that one of the employees backed into my Volvo. The whole hood was crunched and it completely totaled my car. It was a 2001 volvo that was incredible condition and they completely totaled it. We spent three months fighting with Wayne's auto insurance to get enough money to replace the car. I was forced to buy a new car when mine was in perfect condition. Wayne the owner never once apologized, he left me two very rude messages about the age of my car and it's not worth what I wanted for it. He was very unprofessional and handled the situation horribly. I have given Wayne ten years of business and I will tell everyone I know, about what happened to my car. I strongly encourage you not to take your car here.

Joe is awesome. He took care of a bunch of problems on one car and did a quick 15 minute fix on the other car. He explained everything so we knew exactly what was happening. All of this was done for a reasonable cost and in a timely manner. We won't be going anywhere else. Thanks !!

Mark DorrI've been going to Wayne and Rocky Mountain Auto for years, and they've always treated me beyond fair. Wayne has always been up-front and very reasonable on price. Several times, he even didn't charge me because it was a really simple fix. I always recommend them to my friends. They do good work, I trust them, and they don't overcharge...who doesn't want that?

Rocky mountain auto is the only place I trust to work on my vehicles. They are very straight forward and honest. My car is always done quickly and their prices are fair. I highly recommend them the next time you need repair.

Joe and his team did a great job fixing my car. It's stressful enough having issues with a vehicle. The last thing you want to feel is that your car is in the wrong hands. The issue was fixed right away. What reallyimpressed me is that they checked the whole car as well, not just focusing on one specific fix. I will be back for sure.

We've been taking our cars (95 jeep cherokee and 2000 toyota echo) to Wayne for eight years now. He explains the various options well, seems to be reasonably priced, does great work and we feel very comfortable with him and his crew. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.
