DO NOT BUY FROM THIS BUSINESS.In august of 2023 I purchased a 2006 Subaru forester from Ken and have had NOTHING but issues since purchasing. I am now going over $2,750 into this vehicle with just over 5,000 miles since purchasing. The same week as purchasing, I had to put $500 in breaks on the car. Then I had constant issues with check engine lights with cylinder 3 misfires and catalytic converter issues that cost me several hundred dollars to continue working on. And it supposedly had a new clutch and flywheel installed by Ken himself before I purchased it, and now just after 5,000 miles I am having to put in a new full clutch assembly that is going to cost over $1,800. And Ken is not willing to work me on the clutch that HE REPLACED. I would not purchase from him again, and do not recommend others do, so that they do not get stuck spending thousands on the vehicle they purchase from him.UPDATE as of 11/8/2023. The mechanic who is a second opinion I ve brought the car to advised me that Ken did the absolute cheapest option when replacing the clutch as he had advertised. The flywheel was not replaced, the throw out bearing was not replaced, nothing was resurfaced and no other parts replaced with his clutch replacement . Buyer beware. Seriously.UPDATE as of 12/5/2023.I am ANOTHER 2K into repairs. Oil pump leaking, water pump leaking, thermostat leaking and broken, and had to replace all the timing with the oil pump and water pump. So now I am about $4,700$ into this car within 6,000 miles of owning it.

I purchased a car here and Ken made the whole process a breeze. He is genuine and honest and didn t pressure me to make any decisions I wasn t comfortable with. After test driving several cars at other places, I couldn t believe how clean the car was and how well it ran. I truly appreciate the way Ken runs his business and I would highly recommend Old Town Import Repair to anyone. Huge thanks from a happy customer!

There is nothing negative to say about this place. Ken and Calvin are great. I first purchased a car that had a ABS light on. They pointed it out while test driving and said they are going to fix as part of the purchase price. It ended up being a way bigger issue then first thought. So I got a call from Ken (owner) and he apologized and said they would refund me or they had just picked up a Jetta from the auction. If I liked it it is mine they would hold it until I could take a look at it. This car is for my mom in NE and worked perfect for her. The buying process was easy and paperwork made simple. This place is truly honest and doesn't try and pull one over on you. They value there reputation and appreciate good word of mouth. Small business' like this are hard to come by these days. If in the market for a used car give them your business.

I purchased a Saab 9-3 from ken and by far he s the best dealer/mechanic I ve met. Fair pricing and very honest about the car. I plan on becoming a returning customer in the years to come

Calvin and Ken have been really nice to work with!! They are attentive, considerate and upfront. Getting ahold of them was easy and their vibes were perfessional and friendly. At the time I was under some finanncial limitations and they helped with a small loan allowing me to pay off the vehicle over the period of 1 year. The 1997 Infiniti QX4 met all my expectations. I thank them for their service and highly reccomend them!!!

I found a car I was interested in on the carfax website, called and spoke to Calvin, came in for a test drive, and bought it. Calvin already took care of the emissions testing, got me a temporary tag, and ordered my new title. He also told us not to hesitate to give them a call if there were any issues. They have great reviews for a reason!

A locally owned shop, Old Town Import Repair is a reminder of a time when professional service by technicians with years of accumulated experience mattered. Ken, the owner, prices his jobs with fairness and always stands by his work. He's a gentleman and as kind as they come. I highly recommend his shop where he's taken care of my 2002 Toyota Tacoma for over 10 years.

Ken is the BEST!!! I bought a used Saab 9-5 from this shop and it has been the best car I have ever owned, plus Ken has given me so much information about the car, he has always been just a call away for any questions I have! I 1000% recommend coming here to purchase a car! 100/10

Old Town Import Repair is one of the best car dealer / car repair shops that I have ever dealt with in my life. Ken and Calvin are very timely, thorough, and great at what they do. I purchased a car in January and they fixed my inverter pump without charge, clearly showing they excel at customer service and are honest and generous. This is a great place to purchase a used car from. The owner and master mechanic Ken is honest and straightforward plus he really knows cars. During the test drive of the car we eventually bought, we noticed some minor issues. Ken gladly fixed those up for us. Plus he patiently answered our questions about the car history and about the car in general. No pressure, no haggling. We ll be headed back to Ken the next time we re looking for a good used car.

I bought a Subaru from them, they were ridiculously transparent and helpful. The most relaxed purchase of a vehicle I ve made and they re having preventative repairs done complimentary at their partner shop as we speak. I love the car and will probably buy another one from these guys in the future. Thanks Ken and Calvin!

In April of 2019 (before the dreadful 2020 experience) I found Ken's website hunting down the perfect car. I've always wanted a Volvo and found a beautiful red V70 at his location in Fort Collins. I bought the car the moment i was able to drive it because it was an overall very nice match for what i was looking for and a fair price. Ken was able to negotiate out a little bit of work on the car before i picked it up and gave it to me in better condition than when I'd even first looked at it. After some minor upgrades and some new tires it drives like a dream and gets a lot of looks. You'd be hard pressed to believe it's a 20 year old car! People will actually stop me to tell me it's a cool car and reminisce on having one in the past. Also when I've needed help with little things Ken has always been very helpful! Thanks Ken!

One of the best car buying experiences I have ever had. No pressure like other sales lots and I left feeling confident in the vehicle I purchased. The owner was very honest about the condition of the vehicle and went above and beyond to fix the issues he pointed out. And he pointed out some stuff I would have never known about. Such honesty is so hard to find anymore and it s because of that I will bring my other vehicles here for any maintenance they need. Thanks for the awesome mini van Ken!

Ken at Old Town Import and Repair sold me a 2001 Honda Civic. He had clearly put some time an effort into ensuring it was in good shape inside and out. Highly recommend working with them for repairs or purchase.

I purchased a car for my daughter from these guys in May 2021 and I cannot express how happy I am that I did. Not only was the vehicle completely serviced and ready to go, Calvin was there to answer all the questions I had regarding the history/maintenance of the car. They will be servicing this vehicle as long as I own it. Highly recommend Old Town Import Repair for whatever your auto needs.

Old Town Import Repair is a great little shop. The owner, Ken, is a nice, honest guy who absolutely knows his cars. Purchased a used car from him earlier this week, and he was very helpful and easy to deal with. He'll go the extra mile to make sure his customers are happy. It has that small, hometown feel, but the expertise you might expect from a bigger garage. Highly recommend this place. Thanks!

Bought a 2005 Subaru and before got home check engine light came on and they fixed the issue for me at no cost. How cool is that? Car has been great and the service was excellent, even had a little discussion with Ken on Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance.

I had a wonderful experience here I bout my car almost a month ago and then a check engine light came on and Ken and Calvin were quick to get me the help I needed and were timely with getting the parts I needed to fix the vehicle and they repaired it quite quickly for me too. They were super professional and knew what they were talking about. they have listened to any concern I've had and awnsered all my questions. If you're looking for someone to repair your car or you're looking to buy one I highly recommend them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Purchased an 18 year old Subaru with 200,000 miles about three weeks ago and its been driving great. Calvin was super helpful throughout the entire process answering all questions and setting things up. I traveled two hours to purchase a car from these guys and it was well worth the time to deal with friendly and honest people.

Ken and his crew are knowledgeable and conscientious. I've had good experience with them over 13 years of owning a Saab 9-3. I want to underscore his TRUSTWORTHINESS as I compare my experiences with various auto repair shops and various vehicles -- Ken will alert me to potential upcoming issues with my car but there are no high-pressure scare tactics used to get more of my money, and I really appreciate that. He knows a lot about Saabs and has been great at dealing with quirky issues. I still have a solidly running car at 170K miles.

I purchased a 2001 saab from Ken about 2 weeks ago and I couldn't be happier with the car and the service I received at Old Town Import Repair. He was very thorough during the inspection process and made sure that I understood every detail about the car. I love my new Saab, it drives wonderfully and I haven't had a single problem with it.

I own a '06 Saab 9-3 and Ken is hands down the best mechanic who has worked on it. He really takes pride in and truly cares about his work. I had a knocking sound in my suspension I, and 3 other mechanics, couldn't figure out. In 2 minutes of driving my car he knew what it was and was able to fix it the same day. He also cleared a fault for my headlight and tightened a loose bolt in my door without me asking and with no charge. I highly recommend him!

Great people and friendly environment. I bought a used car for a fair price. Ken and the other gentleman (I forget his name) were very nice and upfront about everything. I would definitely buy another used car from Old Town Import.

Old Town Import Repair is by far the best place to get your Saab repaired and maintained in Northern Colorado. Ken the owner is very knowledgeable and willing to help you with any questions or issues. Not only he got me back on the road the next day, but also took the time to educate me regarding what my Saab needs to keep on going. I highly recommended Ken and Old Town Import Repair.

These guys are great! bought a 4runner from ken not to long ago and received my title in the mail today. they made buying a car hassle free and didn't bullshit me at all. I've been driving my car for about a month now and there have been absolutely no surprises. would strongly suggest going here for any repair or car buying needs just honest good service from an easy going staff ten/ten.

I recently bought a used car from Old Town Import Repair. It was a pleasant hassle free experience. They have a great staff and do good work, even made a quick repair for me on the day I bought the car. If you wanted the good local car place...this is it!
