I had to make an emergency road trip pit stop to have the turbo on my Pontiac Solstice assessed. Matt, Jamie and Conway were all so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Conway came with me on a road test and checked the tech database for failure mechanisms. If I lived in Fort Collins I'd definitely take my car back here. Thank you!

My family, my children and several co-workers have been going to Nelson's for almost 20years. They are by far the most professional, knowledgeable, honest service providers I have ever used. They are an incredible team. Their pricing is always appropriate for the repairs, the work is stellar, and the communication is excellent. I strongly recommend Nelson's for all your auto repair needs!

My cars check engine was flashing for a misfire. Took it in on a Wednesday, they looked at it and told me what they needed to fix it. Had no updates unless I called where I found out they forgot to order the parts... never even got a sorry. Was able to pick up the car the NEXT Friday and within 2 miles the check engine was back on and idling rough again.Waiting to see what they will do but as of now out $2k for nothing and fairly pissed to say the least. Do not recommend

To set the tone, I have high expectations when I commit money to a vehicle project. Wade and his crew at Nelsen's are awesome. Absolute professionals. I took in a uniquely modified diesel vehicle to them with a performance goal and they accepted the challenge without hesitation. They researched the solutions and provided me with options and costs. Once determined, they even did the custom fabrication needed to complete the project. To top it off they ran it on the Dyno for before and after data on the upgrade. I'm very happy with the outcome in regards to performance and the high quality of the work. I would recommend Nelsen's Auto Tech Center without hesitation.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning, Engine repair, Wheel alignment

I don t usually review businesses, but I don t think the reviews do this place justice. Since moving from NY, I ve struggled to find a good auto shop that I felt was honest and genuinely did the work well. I have had lights on my car for a couple YEARS, taken it in several times to other shops but no one (I guess) knew how to fix it? Within one service, Brandon let me know that bunnies had chewed all my electrical underneath, explained it was because the wiring has soy based materials, and replaced it with something less tasty for them. He fixed up my other issues as well. He was a pleasure to work with, called me and updated me on the services he saw that were relevant and mentioned things to keep my eye on also. Brandon did his absolute best to give me great service and I would recommend to any and everyone. We have been using Nelson's Auto over 20 years. They can be trusted with all your automotive needs. They are honest. If they don't perform the task needed they will give you the number of a honest, reliable place to perform the task such as windshield repair. Nelsen's Auto Tech is the Best!! I own a 79' Chevy Malibu. I have taken it to some other shops in town, one was okay but charged me way to much and another was a speed shop/ "muscle car" shop and they were the most Incompetent shop workers ever and treated me like because I didn't grow up in the 70's I know nothing about my car. So I had almost given up hope on shops here in town. Finally made the decision to come to Nelsen's and they did such a fantastic job on everything I had done to my car. Thank you Brandon for treating me like a friend and with respect. KS thank you for being an awesome technician and making my car drive like it never has before!! Only shop I'll go to from now on they do A++ work!!

Our family has used Nelsen's and referred people to Nelsen's for a lot of years. We have always appreciated their thoroughness and reliability. Wade and the technicians truly know vehicles and are great at diagnosing the problem. I didn't know how much I appreciated them till our church van had a problem and the other shops including a dealership took our money but failed to diagnose the problem. Nelsen's pursued the problem and tried working with the other shops. It took the whole Nelsen team's persistence to correct the dealerships mistake. Our van works great now. We are so thankful for their knowledge and reliability.

They set me up with the best mechanic for the job, took the extra time to get to know my car, but only charge me the bare minimum for their labor. They even topped off the oil until I can bring the car back for a proper oil change. The mechanic let me pick his brain a bit, too. Not to mention that they have probably the cleanest garage I have ever seen! Talk about fastidious! They really made me feel like part of the neighborhood. I'm keeping these guys!

I have been bringing my vehicles to Nelsen's Auto Tech for years! As they know, I am very particular about my vehicles and want the best repair services possible. The entire staff at Nelsen's listens to my service requests, provides great diagnostics and excellent repairs. Just had an oil flush done and was pleasantly surprised when my other fluids were topped off and a full vehicle inspection report was provided. Nothing was forced onto me, and I had all the facts to make the appropriate decisions as to when to fix the other issues on my vehicle. Great service at a fair price! Will definitely recommend this shop to friends and family.

When my 78 yr. old father, 52 yr. old brother, & 27 yr. old daughter have ALL needed suggestions on where to have their autos repaired, I advised them to check out Nelsen's (as a friend had suggested to me when I was new to the area). My family members have all been satisfied with Nelsen's, SO, when screeching noises erupted from my right front brake, I KNEW who I had to call. Unfortunately, for me, they were booked solid for the next 5 days. I asked if they could recommend a shop and right away they gave me a name and number of a muffler/ brake shop they thought might be able to see me the same day & assured me it had a good reputation. Less than 5 hrs later, it was all a done deal! THANK YOU, Nelsen's!! I will call you, again, when/if my car needs another service and I will continue to recommend you to family & friends!

I've been going to Nelsen's Auto Tech for 4 years and they are superior mechanics and good business people. I'm taking care of a twenty year old car on a limited budget and I have been very satisfied with the care and advice I receive on what needs to be repaired immediately and what can wait. I feel like family here!

Our Expedition started smoking and we weren't sure what was going on so pulled into Nelson's to see if they could help. Their parking lot was completely full, and they were swamped (2 weeks out), but made it a priority to take a quick look at what was going on with our vehicle. They quickly were able to determine the issue, and because it was minor, bumped us to the front of the list, had us out of there in under an hour, and didn't charge us for the fluids. They were genuinely kind and cared about getting us back on the road safely. I can't recommend them enough. They are our new auto tech people and we won't go anywhere else!!!

Nelsons auto provided great service on my work van. Also informed me of the excessive wear on my tires that only had 6000 miles. Completed an alignment in the same time promised for my cooling/ heating issues. Fair & prompt. Nelson's is the only shop that I will take any vehicle to. They are amazing people with amazing knowledge and integrity. They get my car in as soon as possible and produce the best quality repairs possible with keeping cost in mind. They've even called me each day to give me updates. Wade, Brandon, Matt...I don't know what I would do without you! Thank you!

Full disclosure, I only went here for an awd diesel emissions test, but these guys were super helpful. They took the time to talk with me about the quirks of my vehicle (a diesel Jeep), and what kind of maintenance it might need, knowing full well I live over an hour away and wouldn t have it done at their shop. They were honest, helpful, and obviously not just chasing a dollar. If I lived closer I d absolutely use them as my mechanic.

I'm a guy who prefers working on my own diesel truck. When I need a professional mechanic, I go to Nelsen's Auto. I've never trusted a shop like I do here, honesty is something they live by. They were recommended to me by a close friend and now I'm recommending them to you!

Being transplants to Fort Collins, finding a trustworthy and affordable mechanic was incredibly important. After being burned by several places around town, we finally found Nelsen's Auto. Affordable and honest, the team at Nelsen's make getting your car fixed so much less stressful. Don't waste your time and money on shady mechanics. This is a shop you can trust.

My car began spontaneously dying last winter, so I took into Nelsen's because the location was convenient for me to bike to. Long story short, my car was in and out of this shop five times over a two month span, and every time I got my car back there was something new wrong with. Naturally, I was concerned that the mechanic had messed something up while they were trying to fix my car, and in fact this was the case on one of the occasions. On the other occasions, the shop denied any error on their part, and I had to have several lengthy conversations with the shop owner. I will not be taking my car here again, nor would I recommend it to others, but I will say that service was speedy and always congenial.

My car died right in front of Nelsen's earlier this week. Rachel was extremely helpful! Even though they were very busy they were able to get my car in and replace the alternator within 24 hours.

Knowledgeable, professional, friendly and affordable. Best place in town to take my BMW X5 Diesel. This time I took it there for an emission test. They fixed two other problems while they had it, and then refused to accept any payment for that extra work!!! What else could you wish for? 5 stars.
