After going to over a dozen car dealerships across Colorado we were thrilled to have Dave Parent serve us at Markley Honda. My 2005 Honda CRV died one week after my first daughters birth leaving our family in quite a bind as we scrambled to by a new to us used car. When we got to Markley it was clear that things were ran with genuine kindness and honesty. Dave Parent took his time walking me through a test drive (to a beautiful overlook!) and patiently answering questions. At no point did I feel pressured like I had at previous dealerships. I highly recommend asking for Dave!

Ah-maze-ing dealership!!! We had Roger for our salesperson, and he went above and beyond to get us a great deal. We are very happy with our new Honda Accord. 5 stars to Dave Parent, the sales associate who helped us. He was incredibly friendly, kind, patient, and gracious to us throughout our experience from the time we made initial inquiries about the vehicle and through the purchase and afterwards. Can't recommend working with Dave enough - he's the best car sales associate I've ever worked with. He made our drive up from south Denver to purchase our Honda Pilot well worth the trip!The rest of our experience was fine. I'm only giving 4 stars because I didn't appreciate the finance person continuing to press me on expensive vehicle coverages after I had very clearly declined them and signed the documents declining them. I felt it bordered on using scare tactics to diminish my confidence in a brand that I've always trusted and had great experiences with. I get that the dealership needs to make their money, but I think they need to let it go once the customer has been clear with their intentions and signed paperwork stating so.

Am typically skeptical about dealerships but Markley Honda has some amazing folks working for them. I have had the privilege of having David Schlueter as my service advisor and he took care of things for me and got everything I needed done for my vehicle without any up-selling. Provided me with instructions, and a step by step follow up of what I needed to do. Very knowledgeable, friendly and puts the customer first. I am very appreciative of David's helpfulness and believe he is an exemplar for Markley.

My husband and I were looking for a new vehicle after our previous had been totalled. Lucky for us, Sara Fisher was available to help! She listened and understood what we were looking for and was able to guide us in the right direction. Sara is sweet, caring, understanding, and personable. She really got to know us (and us, her!) to be able to help us even more. We cannot thank Sara enough for all of her help and we can't wait to keep in contact with her for any future purchases! Very quick oil change and inspection and car wash. Our service coordinator, Scott, was very helpful and kept us updated on the progress. We had questions about newer Hondas, and he hooked us up with an extremely helpful salesman who quickly got us squared away.

Great car buying experience! Highly recommend! We will be purchasing a second vehicle within one month for two reasons: the quality of the vehicles and the positive experience with our Sales Manager, Phil. He made us feel comfortable throughout the process, he is knowledgeable about the vehicles, he is patient, he is not pushy, he wants you to feel comfortable with the vehicle your purchasing, he won t sell you a vehicle that s not right for you, and he is all around a great Sales Manager. If your interested in purchasing a Honda, I highly recommend working with Phil atMarkley Fort Collins. You won t regret it.UPDATE: I was in a car accident less than two days after purchasing. The team at Markley genuinely cares about my wellbeing and is doing everything they can to get me into a new car as soon as possible, with great communication along the way. Brad was a champion and the dealership was enjoyable to work with! My girlfriend and I bought a used car that was in great shape, with good miles, and was priced under market. We found the car online and came to this dealer directly for it. The process for buying was simple, straightforward and not "salesy". Jesse, in the finance department was a pleasure to work with too. Highly recommend this dealership and working with Brad.

Phil was a great sales associate that was respectful of me and my 400 questions. He was kind and more than willing to take the time to help me with my first trade in. He guided me through the process and I felt confident in the process with my trade in and purchase. He showed me the bells and whistles of my new vehicle that made me confident with my purchase. Since my recent #1 rating I have been contacted my the new service manager at Markley Honda and we shared information about my most recent service event. I am unable to find my review in Google to just edit it so I am writing a new one. The new service manager, Corey, was polite and genuine and I am confident he will be rectifying this situation. As I stated in my last review, I have been going to Markley Honda for many years and what recently happened is surely a "one off" . The only reason this review is not a 5 star is nothing has transpired as yet. But I am confident it will.Edit 11/16/2023Corey really came through! Even though the transmitter for my 2014 was out of stock, Corey was able to locate one through other dealerships. He really went out of his way to right the previous wrong. He also met the repair price I had received from another dealer; which greatly lowered the quote I received prior to Corey's new position with Markley. We got it scheduled, he personally came out to meet me and take care of the service, which only took about 30 minutes or so. Corey set the example for superior customer service and going the extra mile. Thanks Corey! See ya next oil change!

My husband and I purchased a new Honda Passport at Markley a few weeks ago and had an incredible experience! Initially, I was dreading the car buying process. Markley Motors was very helpful in getting me into a new CR-V. Phil was very courteous and helpful from the very start to after the sale. With a small issue on one of the accessories in the deal, Phil and his management team stepped up, corrected the issue and made the deal whole - very generous. I'm glad I chose the Honda over a Toyota and glad for Markley Motors to help with that. I highly recommend them when looking for a reliable new vehicle.

Modifying our original review thanks to Cory the new service manager at Markley who investigated our issue and made a fair offer to remedy the problem. Here was our original review I had an appointment for a 'Quick Lube plus service' and a request for an estimate for a backseat that won't go down. The "Quick" service took 2 hours. The estimate said "Verified complaint. Removed seat cover. Found upper cable loose. Would need to get into it more but will need more time. Need to start with cable and recheck operation." This 'analysis' cost me $48. Will need more time after 2 hours? Not very happy with this service appointment!

I am extremely disappointed in how the male sales staff treat me. The other day I brought in my 2016 Honda CRV because the rear hatch would not open 75% of the time. I gave my keys to the man behind the counter and went to sit down. A minute later he came and got me to see my car. Holding my key at the rear of my car he said "You know it's THIS button you push to open it, right?" in a condescending voice. It took every fiber of my being not to say Oh, I m sorry, I m just a woman. I didn t realize that the Tailgate Button was the button you push to open the tailgate. He tried it a couple of times and confirmed that it wasn t responding every single time. Proving I was right.One time I went for a free car wash. Even if it was my first time getting a car wash (which it was not), there is a sign right there saying to leave your keys in your car and turn on your hazard lights, so they know you want just a car wash. As soon as I did that and exited my car, there was a male employee right there who said Oh, you re an expert. But it was the way he said it. As if he was surprised I could follow elementary directions. Then he rubbed my back! That was extremely inappropriate and made me uncomfortable. When I got home I told my husband. My husband was so mad he almost called to complain.Please tell your male staff to treat female customers with more respect. Thank you.

In the three weeks prior to getting the oil change and multipoint inspection, we received numerous emails with coupons and paper coupons in the mail. We were particularly interested in a coupon that gave us money off for a synthetic oil change. When we arrived at the service, the surface representative went through all the coupons and told us why each one wouldn t work. So, we reluctantly paid the full price of 90+ dollars for just an oil change. My wife and I have bought four cars from Markley since the year 2002 at our recommendation, my daughter and her husband have purchased two cars from Markley. We will be buying another car in March, but not at Markley. The bait and switch with the coupons cost Markley a car sale and loyal customer. How stupid. Incidentally, in 2022 Markley fired the fine salesman who sold us the first four cars. Last week I noticed that there was not a single service technician I recognized from going there the last 20 years. Apparently, there s been a change in person that department too. I don t know what their business plan is, but it s not working for my wife and IUpdate: The service manager called me within 15 minutes of my post (above) to discuss the issue. He explained that, because I did not get a tire rotation, I was not entitled to the discount.I disagreed. I pointed out that a) the top line in large font lists "Full Synthetic Oil and Filter Change" followed by "$20 Off," and b) the coupon in question did not state that one would have to have all of the services listed in order to qualify for the discount. He responded that he would henceforth review the on-line and hard copy coupons and work with marketing to clarify the details. He also noted that the sales force and service personnel have undergone some changes. I appreciated his concern and offer of a free oil change on my next visit.Regardless, I stated that my concern was not over the $20; rather, it was a matter of trust. For those of us who are not mechanics, we must trust our car's service department to be honest, forthright, and transparent.

Markley does good and honest business. Our salesman, Dave Parent, was especially kind, patient, knowledgeable, and not pushy whatsoever.
