Dave and his right-hand man Jorge (pronounced George) offer great automotive service at a fair price, and they stand behind their work.They're always happy to answer any questions you have, and they either stick to their estimate, or, if they identify an additional problem that will cause an increase, they will call and walk you through it, not surprise you when it's time to pay.Give 'em a try, and the bonus is that you'll save quite a bit over what the dealerships charge.

I will always bring my car here. Fair prices done in timely manner. I have never felt cheated by them. My gf brought her car here and they treated her fairly as well. This is a nice small local shop

They was very kind and helpful did a motor replacement on my truck and it is running very good I must say only 2 problems I had was Communication keep getting a date wen it would be done and it kept changing and when I got my truck back the latter inside it was missing witch was 100$ i think it got stolen sitting on there lot but other then that they seem to be good at what they do and honest

Dave and his mechanic failed to identify and repair a serious problem with the front end on my F350 6.7. It could have caused me to lose control and run into someone or worse and I've known Dave for about 15yrs. Beware..

I didn t use this shop because of the outrageous estimate they gave me to repair a pretty minor problem. $1100. I got the repair done by a mechanic in Loveland for $260. Careful ladies some of these mechanics think we re stupid to fall for it!

The only nice thing I can say about, Dave's Automotive is that Dave is a very polite man. I dropped off my vehicle on March 14 for a diagnostic test and was quoted one price and was charged more than twice the amount. I had told him I thought the ECM (computer) was not working properly, and he had to call in an electronic expert to diagnose the problem, and basically got an answer that was a guess. I got my vehicle back not knowing what to do?!? I never got a print out of the diagnostic test and on my receipt, all that was supposedly done was labor, and I was also was charged tax on labor?!? Why is that no parts were put on the vehicle. There are several other things I could say but, please think about taking your vehicle here. I can't believe I actually paid for a guess, that turned out to be a misdiagnosis!!

Hands down, this was the best auto mechanic experience I've ever had. The team was knowledgeable about my car and willing to help me as best as possible. They were all so friendly and welcoming. As a female in my 20s, I feel like some mechanics try and take advantage of my perceived lack of car knowledge, but Dave and his staff were honest and worked with integrity. I highly recommend this place. I'll be sending friends and family this way as well!

I've been going here for almost 2 years for oil changes but within those 2 years my car's health seemed to be declining - as well as the friendliness of the service here. I was told by one of the mechanics that my car was just prone to poor oil health. I took my car somewhere else and they said that the oil filter looks like it hasn't been changed in a year. I trusted that Dave's would be changing the filter... now that I have that clean, my car feels SO much better and actually has power to it again. I won't be returning..

This is the only place I will take my car. As a student and an Uber driver I often need work done for a reasonable price. I ve been coming to these guys for over a year because they are honest, friendly, and do a quality job. I trust Dave and George with any auto mechanical work.If you need an honest and knowledgeable mechanic go to Dave s. If that isn t enough they REALLY DO have the best prices you can find in Fort Collins!Thanks for your service Dave s, see you soon.

I cannot recommend Dave's Automotive enough I have had several Vehicles repaired there they have always been Fair honest and provided excellent work. Once I even had a brand new part fail which was not the fault of Dave's Automotive and they were able to drop everything and do an emergency repair on my vehicle within 1.5 hours of the discovery of the failed component which kept me on the road. Affordable very fair and honest I highly recommend Dave's Automotive

I can't say enough good things about Dave's automotive. These gentlemen really care and show it with their knowledge and quality work. Great work on my 2015 Ram Diesel 2500 and my wife's Mercedes. George knows all types of foreign cars. I've never met a shop with so much knowledge in this field. I've been taking my car to Dave's for years now. I cannot even bring to explain how much this shop has helped me out! Definitely the best prices and friendliest crew around. 13/10 would come here for EVERY need my vehicle has.

My 2000 F150 broke down in Fort Collins, I'm from Conifer. Dave's was recommended by Mountain Mist Spas (the reason I was in Fort Collins. He was definitely correct the issue with my truck didn't show up on the diagnostic computer. Dave determined the truck needed a new fuel pump he replaced the fuel filter and pump issue gone. My F150 runs great. I asked Dave to do the regular preventative maintenance, very professional and a good price. Glad Dave is there, wish Dave's was 100 miles closer to my home. Highly recommend.

Dave is a straight shooter and an honest mechanic. He's saved me money by finding the best deal on parts, being honest about the issues he finds, and doing his word in a timely manner. I have recommended him to friends and family for years now and will continue to do so. Thank you Dave!

I hate leaving bad reviews, but I ve never been so inspired to do so as after my experience here. A couple months ago I took my car here to get my power windows fixed. While I was there he said I should get new brakes(which I did need) and he did a good job on that. The only bad thing was he left a razor blade and several other tools on the floor by my driver s seat which I m glad I noticed before I got cut by it accidentally. Several days later though my window started acting up again so I called and he said to bring it in if it had a problem. I recently took it in and called the day before asking, can I bring it in at 11am for you to work on it? I get there and he forgot about me, our scheduled time, and the problem my car had. So I told him he fixed it before and he was pretty nonchalant about everything. I asked how much would it be to fix(hoping for a possibly discounted rate because I already paid $200 for him to fix it and it quit working 2 days after the fix) He could not give me a price, not even a ballpark range. I then asked if I leave it will it be done by the end of today because I work the next day and need it. I felt like this was reasonable because we made the appointment the day before. He kept giving me the vaguest answers like Well I hope so, I have to finish work on this trailer etc etc etc. He was getting angry with me asking so many questions when a) I need to know the price to make sure it s not going to be $500. B) I need to be able to drive to work tomorrow. I felt like my questions weren t to unreasonable because I asked Well will it be over $200? and he just could not give me an answer. Our exchange ended with him saying Well are you going to leave it here or not? in a short manner. I obviously said no and was very frustrated.The first time we met he seemed like a nice guy but after that experience I was surprised about how rude he was when I asked him basic questions about time and cost. I mean you could get an oil change here and be fine but anything else I would not recommend.EDIT: Dave commented saying he would likely not have charged me anything but when I was there I told him he had worked on this exact thing before and he said I definitely would still have to pay again. That response is not true at all.

Dave was very helpful and pleasant when I took my truck to him. He called me throughout the repair process and let me know exactly what he found and what his plans were. He was thorough and professional but above all he was genuinely nice and was down to earth. Thanks Dave!

Was referred to Dave by a coworker. Just moving into town 1000 miles from home i had to get my first car repair. Dave figured out the problem right away and even lowered the price for me even though he said it took him a few hours than expected. Glad he is around

Glad i know where not to take my car to literally was told my car has a major oil leak and oil level has not changed in the past three days lol but good to know who not to do business with again.
