I have been to a fair share of auto shops in Fort Collins and to date BG automotive is the only shop I have felt the quality and care for my vehicle has genuinely been the number one priority.I often enjoy doing many repairs myself as a hobbyist and it has been a common experience for shops to have a discouraging attitude towards my self repair. The technicians at BG have been refreshingly accepting and I will definitely be returning for all work I am unable to perform myself!Specific shout out to Sam and Damien who took the time to discuss parts and troubleshooting with me. Excellent advice and recommendations, and a great attitude in the shop overall! Thanks for caring more about quality than profit!

I bet my alignment is fine however, I find it very unprofessional that they couldn't produce an alignment sheet once my car was completed. Almost every shop I have gone to has given me a sheet that shows alignment specs before and after they adjusted it without even asking. I asked for my alignment sheet and they could not produce it. I am not necessarily blaming the techs there but maybe improve your system to be able to at least email customers the alignment sheet after the vehicle is completed.

I have a 2009 Escape which is needing a little attention. Ashley did a great job of sharing the technician's list of things that they suggested I fix. Then, she explained the logic behind it. There was ZERO pressure to fix anything which I really appreciated. I did have them replace my brakes and rotors and they work beautifully now. I am VERY satisfied and will definitely return when it's time for regular service or a needed repair. Thanks, BG!

Extremely great customer service, and friendly staff overall. I appreciated the thorough inspection of everything that needed to be done, and also appreciated that I did not feel pressured to complete costly repairs right away. If ever my main mechanic retires or goes out of business, this is the place where I would bring all of my business. Highly recommend this place to bring your vehicle for any repairs or alignment needs.

The thing that I really like about Frank and his crew, is that they are up front in their pricing and are willing to discuss the pluses and minuses of the proposed repair. In this case, doing this particular repair was not worth it on my 28 year old car. I appreciated their candor.That being said, I have had repairs done by BG Automotive. The repair was done well and it came with a three year warranty.Thanks guys!

I worked with Frank and he was awesome throughout the whole process. Frank helped me out every step of the way making sure my car was thoroughly inspected and all the work done was amazing. Thank you to all the techs that helped work on my Subaru and always getting back to me, also giving me an amazing warranty that is nationwide as we are moving to Washington in a month. Thank you!!

Extremely friendly place to work with. Sam was very easy and clear to work with. Very straightforward on the work being performed. The courtesy review and follow up report of the car was outstanding! I've never seen anything in that detail and clarity before.I was a bit shocked that the final price was way higher then initially quoted even with the explanation that it could be more. I probably should have questioned that.

From the first interaction with Jared to the amazing support and guidance from Ashley on the quote, we are beyond impressed. My dad owned an auto repair shop for over 20 years and no doubt he was smiling from heaven on how they took care of us. Our daughter s car is a 2000 Subaru Outback LTD. Great car that we had serviced before taking her to school in August but more nasty gremlins surfaced. BG Automotive got us in right away, were completely transparent with diagnostics and quote and had car back to her within 3 days. Grateful to find an auto shop we can trust with our daughter s car and safety. BG s customer service was excellent right off the bat. They emailed back quick, listened to my concerns, sent someone with me on a drive to make sure I felt understood, and scheduled a lyft ride for me to get back home while my car was being inspected. When I got the inspection results and estimates, they explained them to me in detail and by matter of importance, ensuring I could make an informed decision for what was best for me. The pricing felt accurate and no-nonsense, and their financing service was very easy to understand and apply for to help with what I couldn t afford on my own. I look forward to working with BG in the future for all my automotive needs!

I really like this place! They are friendly, and competent and do what they say they will do when they do them. I had a great discussion with Sam about options to get our Subaru back running again in a cost effective manner. You get reports via texted PDF and you can even pay online too. I was super pleased with the whole thing and would recommend BG Automotive to my friends and family.

Went here for a purchase inspection. HIGHLY recommend these folks. They were kind, knowledgeable, and flexible. I don't know a ton about cars so it was really appreciated that they still worked with me so well. Both the front desk folks were helpful and kind - Ashley directly helped me, 10/10! Finally, Mechanic Alex went above and beyond to check and explain my every question - and he's easy on the eyes ...Thank you BG Auto for being the least difficult part of my car buying experience!Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

Despite having a rundown as too what was needed for my vehicle, I didn t get exactly what I wanted. Even the option of just having a job done, but that ignited the fact it needed more. Cars come and go, a simple bandaid solution to cover the request I made would ve been an excellent response. I guess end of the month commissions were up to quota.

It's tough to find a trustworthy shop to take an older vehicle to! My wife's 2014 optima has been serviced here twice and both times it exceeded our expectations. Jared was friendly and knowledgeable! He gave us a ballpark on the amount and then it came in under, which was awesome! I like the inspection report, always let's us know what's next. Fast... friendly... knowledge...trustworthy...more can you ask for?

I am currently working with Ashley to get some major repairs done on my car, and she's the best! She's so kind and cares about you as a person, not just a client. I highly recommend, and will definitely have them as my preferred service shop for as long as I am in Fort Collins!

Well, you told me three hours for my car to get done and you hadn t even started it when I came back. I had ordered a cover for the passenger side mirror and had to come down so you guys could get the color right and the gray you gave me does not match my car at all, so I will never recommend you people because you never keep your time And you make me go through hoops, and still don t get The things I want done doneThe lack of communication between your staff members and your mechanics is unacceptable.

Everyone at the shop is friendly and probably tries their best, however they've proved their incompetence when it comes to my BMW X5. They've serviced my car 3 times, with oversights in their servicing resulting in additional visits, for example not registering the battery to the vehicle resulting in IBS codes and an array of abgiguous issues with the electric system. Most recently they had my car for 7 days, providing me conflicting information on day 7 that wasn't included in their original diag on the vehicle. They instead dwelled on the coils/plugs needing to be replaced due to misfiring, although I expressed i would service this in a months time. I picked the car up on end of day 7 and it's leaking coolant everywhere and they've again provided conflicting and what turns out to be inaccurate information on where this leak was coming from. If I'd followed their recommendation I'd be out another $500 and the vehicle would still be leaking coolant.

Great people and great service. I had a check engine light pop on - dealership couldn t see me for a couple days - BG did a quick scan and reset at no charge. They ll be my go to from here on out.

BG Automotive is a great place to get your car worked on from start to finish! Ashley got our car in quickly, she kept me up to date on the work being done, and never tried to push any extra services on me. This is the second time we have gone here and after today I will never take any of our cars anywhere else. Take your car here!

My car is a Nissan Versa and I ve been having troubles that are very expensive. This is my second time in and they always make good on their warranties and promises and I have to say I ve felt better each time I took it out, not only that they have clear transparencies of each problem and details around the expenses so I feel in the loop and can trust them. Ashley was my second and Greg my first representative and both went above and beyond.

I actually found out about this place through discount tire when I was experiencing a problem with my wheels that they were not able to resolve. I went to the Fort Collins BG Auto location. I walked in near the end kf the day, described the problem - and right away, they offered to do a ride-along. They were able to diagnose the issue immediately just by driving my car. And were able to get me in when they opened the next morning. Car was finished by the end of the day. Overall, I was very impressed with the timeliness and accuracy in addressing the issue. My car drives really smooth now. And I also felt the price for repair was reasonable. Which was really important to me as I am replacing my car very soon. But I obviously do not want to drive an unsafe vehicle in the meantime. Great service. Great experience. Highly recommend!

My experience was horrible overall. My Jeep was sitting at this shop for 3 months for a basic traction control module fix. Turns out, there was just an issue with the spark plugs as well. A simple fix is what we thought, but these imbeciles thought some other long list of issues and it took talking to the boss to get things done. Would not recommend to anyone.

Ashley is simply amazing! She went above and beyond to support me in dealing with some tricky issues with my car. She was compassionate, proactive, educational and communicated with me in terms that I understood about how to take care of my vehicle. Going to this shop has been intimidating before, but with Ashely I felt welcomed, valued and truly supported. Thank you!
