Brian from Durango Car Care helped me replace my expired tags when I was in Durango for seasonal work. I was living out of my car but didn't have screwdrivers and he was happy to help me and I really appreciated it! I was very far from home and new to town, and his quick help made me feel welcome and comfortable :) Thank you Brian!

I just want to say Durango car care is by far the best shop in town. They are great people very nice and friendly. Great prices and great work and they don t mess around they get it done every single time and fast as well. I have never had to take my truck back one time because of something they did. I will keep going back here till there is no more Durango car care.

I am thoroughly impressed with the service here - not only did they get me in the same week I called, but they diagnosed a problem another shop in town couldn t figure out and they fixed it for much less than I was expecting. The owner (Gerry?) is very kind and upbeat and he made me feel welcome in his shop. They fixed my issue no problem and my car is running great now. They even went out of their way to pop my front bumper in without being asked for free. Excellent car service, excellent customer service, and I have received two separate word of mouth recommendations to come here. This is the only place I will be taking my car repair business to going forward. 11/10 for a superb business.

Friendly service and a quick turnaround; however I asked them do to a diagnostic on my vehicle and they ended up doing work on my vehicle without consulting me. I was charged $70 in parts and $130 in labor fees. The work? Replacing a radiator cap. Absolutely will not be returning.They will get you in quick and they do good work. Not the cheapest place in town but they do a quality job.

Extremely expensive. Hit me with $150 charge to pop in a new door handle. Something that's taken me 20 minutes in the past to do and I'm dumb and slow, so there's no way it took them more than 10 minutes. Also charged me $68/gallon for coolant that the Toyota dealership -- not exactly a discount outlet -- sells for $34/gallon.The people are friendly enough and were able to get me in reasonably quickly, but I left feeling like I had been ripped off. I would go somewhere else if you don't want to have to worry about overpaying.

To say that Bryan and his team are the best in the business would be an understatement. Not only did they repair our vehicle with expert service, they were professional and kind through the whole process. When they discovered a faulty engine was delivered by an outside source (that I ordered from) they went out of their way to have it replaced with another engine rather than charging me for 2 installations! It s hard to find people that run businesses with integrity these days, but if you need a vehicle repair look no further than Durango Car Care! Thanks to the DCC team!

My oil light came on out of the blue. I needed immediate attention because I didn't want to blow up my motor! Bryan totally understood and dropped everything and looked at my truck. He explained what he did to correct the issue and I was on my way. He is very personable and knowledgeable!!! This is by far the most trustworthy shop in this area. From Pagosa, to Farmington. They take care of me everytime, anytime, and honestly most knowledgeable people. They go the extra mile. Hands down, best shope! Happy to be a customer! Loyalty goes a long way in my book! All I can say is, it's worth the money to me to have the care I get there. I've had horrible experiences in this town with shady macanics. And spent a LOT more dealing with that. Good help is not cheap! And cheap help is not cheap in the end!

Broke down with a bad alternator in Durango on my way to Montana, these dudes took care of me - super reasonable price, and better than any shops I took my truck to previously! They had to make an alternator work since it's an older truck, but they did it pro level. I owe these guys lunch, rare to find such great mechanics who do excellent and honest work. Did a great job, alternator spins and runs like a dream.

I took my truck in because I had an engine knock and my dash lights kept going out. They ended up telling me that the engine knock would have to get worse before they could find out what's causing it. They also told me during check out that they didn't even look at the dash lights or whats causing them to go out. They didn't diagnose anything and still expected the diagnostic fee. Then they told me I need new engine mounts for around $1200. Then the dog that is in the front office decided to jump on me and nip my hand... The response from the young lady working the front desk... "She's in heat, she might nip."

We were traveling to Durango for our anniversary and noticed our car started to make a noise. We got in late on Thursday night and took it in to Durango Care Care that Friday morning. Even though it was very late notice, the owner Bryan did not want to leave us stranded and did what he could to help resolve our issue! Would totally recommend this shop!

They ordered my parts as soon as we got an estimate. Got the parts in and scheduled our service. They finished the sub frame replacement in one day! The whole process took a week! All other shops would ve taken a month just to make an estimate.

It was so very easy! My truck had an axle issue over the weekend when no garages were open. The tow truck dropped me off at Durango Car Care, I left my keys in the drop box, and got a call on Monday that it could be ready for me that evening. Over all a great experience.

Brian & Co. run an excellent shop. In my experience, very quick diagnosis and repair turnaround, with communicative and personable customer service to boot. After a less-than-stellar experience with another mechanic in town, Durango Car Care has my business for as long as I live in Durango.

This is the best place and Bryan was the greatest guy! I was just traveling through Durango and have an oil leak- I was really worried if it was due to any issues that needed to be resolved before I continue on or if it was something that could wait until I made it home to Montana. I just popped in to see if they had any time to just give the engine a look over and he understood my concerns and very compassionately got me in right away and then took me to look at it with him and went over everything with me and eased my concerns that I would very likely be ok to address it once I returned home and even made sure to give me a little extra oil and showed me how to check my oil level and where to fill it in case mine got low. I can t thank him enough. If I lived in Durango this would be the place I d take my car every time!

When I moved to Durango, the Chamber of Commerce recommended Brian at Durango Car Care. I've been very impressed by their service. Today, I dropped in at the last minute with a worrying rattle that was coming from somewhere on the right underside of the car. Although Brian was booked out for weeks, he quickly had his colleague ride with me and listen to the rattle, then put the car on the lift to check it out. Turns out, a rock had gotten lodged in a control arm. I was so grateful to have that quick fix before heading out on a 8 hour drive the next day and he charged me nothing. That's the kind of customer service that will keep me coming back for as long as my RAV4 keeps me going. Thank you so much, Durango Car Care for going the extra mile. I will continue to refer all my friends to you.

I called 4 different local shops for estimates, and each time I spoke with Dale at Durango Car Care, the communication was clear, straightforward, and friendly. I had my brakes (rotors and pads) replaced and am happy with the service. The repair was done same-day and cost almost $100 less than other shop estimates. I am so thankful for Bryan Hill at Durango Care Car. My van left me stranded with my 2 under two kiddos on a 4 degree morning with a cracked radiator and no heat. I called Durango Care Car and Bryan got me in that day with a diagnosis. He had me up and running with a new radiator the next day. I highly recommend Durango Car Care!

Not from Durango- had mechanical emergency on vacation (complete rear end rebuild) - and felt like a local customer throughout the entire process!!! Can t say enough great things about this crew. We were traveling through Durango when we had problems with our van. Every other place we called in town said it would be two weeks for an appointment. This place told us to come by. They had the parts we needed sent fast and were very fair with the pricing and labor. We were back on the road still on schedule in short order. While I waited I noticed many locals dropping off their cars. Owner new people by name and was always friendly. 5 stars.

Durango Car Care saved us. When our breaks went out on the Monday after new years while we were visiting Durango we called around and no one cared that we were stuck out of town. Durango car care did. They got us in and got us fixed up same day for less than posted internet prices said we would likely pay. Can't say enough nice things.

Bryan is the new owner and is great! Excellent and honest establishment. Switched to Durango Car Care after getting totally ripped off by Built to Last and very happy I did! Just wish I'd of known sooner. I will continue with DCC forever Thanks, Bryan and team!

Excellent serviceI needed new front brakes and was able to schedule an appointment almost immediately after submitting a request for information on the website. It's now less than 48 hours since I did that and I have new brakes and confirmation that everything else is in order, with information given without pressure to perform additional services. Dale and his team lived up to expectations set by previous good experiences at Durango Car Care.
