I take both of my vehicles to Tayshen's because they are sincere, respectful, reasonably priced, quick, and excellent mechanics who know how to clearly explain my options. I couldn't be happier, especially as a single woman.

Know their stuff helped me get my van running super smooth and even helped me out with a problem on the vehicle that didn't present itself right away. Very good people and stand behind their work.

THESE PEOPLE ARE VERY DISHONEST! Took my vehicle to get an estimate for legal purposes. For some reason they decided to contact the defendant, then supplied him with pictures and offered to witness for him. All without my knowledge. It was my very first visit to the shop. Their estimate was way more than anyone else. If I were you I'd steer clear of these people. They are not what they show to the public! watch your back or they'll cheat you.

I absolutely love this office. We had such a great experience from beginning to end. We had to tow our vehicle there after breaking down on the highway. They were very quick to diagnose the problem after an extremely comprehensive inspection. They offered prices immediately. Once approved they had the parts that day and our truck was fixed just a couple days later. They are extremely knowledgeable, friendly and honest. We will never take our vehicle anywhere else. My wife and I are from Missouri , traveling in our Suburban and Airstream. The right front brake locked up coming over the mountains. We made it to Delta. I knew I needed to get the truck fixed but had no idea where to take it. I searched online, found Tayshen Automotive website, read the reviews and went to their shop. I was impressed with the cleanliness of the customer lounge and the shop itself. Robert (the owner) listened to my list of symptoms, took the vehicle on a test drive and gave me his recommendations. He replaced the fixed the brake problem at a reasonable price. What stuck me was he got right on our vehicle, his wife gave me a ride back to the campground. Jayme told me that when vacationers come in for repairs, it is already stressful enough to have an auto problem. They try to fit the vacationer's vehicle in for repairs quickly. I appreciate that. It was stressful but all the staff were professional, courteous and reflected well on the Colorado hospitality. Robert also told me a couple of other things that needed repair and that were within my abilities to do. Which I did. Jayme--- it was a fuse. I had a very disturbing experience with Tayshen Automotive this summer. Called them the first time and they quoted me a reasonable price. Called a few days later to make sure plan was in place and cost went up 300%. So I went back to the drawing board and took my car somewhere else.

I had a Jeckal and Hyde experience just from the 2 phone calls I made. First call was a reasonable explanation and I had decided to take my car there. Second call was scary so I took my car elsewhere. I am satisfied with the results so I will continue to take it to new place. I am very disappointed in Tayshen for their trustworthiness is now gone.

I really want to give Barry and his crew a good review. Their work is good. The pay is outrageous. Charged $500 for labor when my car was in for about 1 1/2 hours. I feel like I ve been taken advantage of unfortunately, because the rate of pay is unbelievable. Barry said it was because he had two mechanics working on the car to get it out quicker, but this should be told up front and not after the fact. If I would have known that, I would have asked to take longer for 1 person working. Trust your business elsewhere on the Western Slope. Total and complete rip off. I will never trust Tayshen again.

While hunting near Delta CO, my friends alternator went out on his jeep grand cherokee. We found Tayshen Automotive on Google and limped it down the mountain and to their shop. Barry was very helpful in getting it diagnosed and back on the road in a very timely manner. Jami (the owner) was super friendly and visited with us while we waited.Thank you for helping us get back on the road so that we could enjoy Halloween night with our families!!!

Jami and her crew made sure my car was taken care of from beginning to end. They did an all over inspection. They sent me a link with everything they checked and it gave me a green, yellow, or red read out. I had them repair everything that showed up red. They did an amazing job. My car is running great and I plan on using them for here on out.Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Brakes, Oil change

Based on my experience at Tayshen I will move my business to them along with my Mom's. I will be totally comfortable recommending everyone to their shop for service. The crew is capable and well qualified. The new remodel shows this companies commitment to the community and their desire to continue to improve. They have raised the bar for service in Delta and the surrounding area to a new level. Jami and Rob have put together an exceptional team. Their integrity and professionalism are refreshing and genuine.

They are, without question, the best I have ever dealt with.Over 2,000 miles from home I thought I had a serious transmission problem. Not only did they take my truck in quickly, they determined the problem to be a minor one and corrected it quickly and at a great price.These are some of the best, friendliest, most knowledgeable, and helpful people I have ever dealt with. To bad I can only give them 5 stars, they positively deserve more.Thank you.

Tayshen Automotive are really good mechanics and will treat you right. Got my truck back from them today and was very satisfied. They have taken care of my wife's car for the last 7 years and have always been outstanding. They are very competent and honest people and I can't recommend them enough.

Love these guys, NAPA certified which helps with warranty issues as a nomad - 2 years or 24k miles. These guys are expensive, but it's worth it because they're thorough and offer a great warranty.

Way over and above any service professional I've ever dealt with. Besides their top of the line knowledge and expertise. Jame and her crew went out of their way to make sure I was taken care of. I will return often as it is well worth the trip. I went from being stranded on the Hwy on a Friday evening to the comfort and care of Angels! I am so looking forward to seeing you again!

CRAZY EXPENSIVE! Almost double anyone else in town. Don't know what they're thinkin but you can get it repaired cheaper almost anywhere else.

Tayshen Auto saved a vacation after my car overheated. They were able to get the car looked at immediately to diagnose the problem. Their methodology, communication, & customer service are excellent. Rates charged were substantially better than what I expected. Thanks!!

Very happy my Jeep was finished in only 2 hours today! This was my 3rd time bringing my Jeep to Tayshen and now all 3 times have made me happy! Was extra pleased with being driven home & then picked up when it was finished. (The 'handicap trump card') Also happy the "estimate" was dead-on.*** Enjoy your Relish, Jamie! ***

I was taking my cars to a shop in Cedaredge, which did great work they were just super slow. I had both my vehicles out of commission and it took them two months to get one of them back. I decided to take my truck to Tayshen the last time it broke down and they had it back in under a week. They were also very clear on what needed to be done, and were fun to work with. As an IT person living in a non-computer friendly community, I also really love how Tayshen uses technology to provide their services. Outstanding! I'm going to take my cars to them from now on.

I called to see if they could service my car, they could, and were able to get me the next day. The full vehicle inspection find leaking seal, once the parts can be obtain we get it replaced. It was a positive experience, comforting to know that your car is in professional hands.

I took my business truck in because it was not holding a charge for more than a few days. I had replaced the alternator and the battery my self.I drove the truck down there, figured it would be a semi quick fix... Explained it was my work truck and only truck before I took it down to them (could not afford to be out of a truck for long)Barry Olson (service Manager) Called the day after dropping it off explained he found my amp wire running from my battery to my amp had melted and had been arching inside the engine bay and he believed that to be the issue and he was going to order a couple parts and he'd let me know after he put them on if that was indeed the issue.He let me know a few days later he had more "bad news" Barry said it did not fix the truck and that he believed every module in the truck was fried and that he was thinking it would be an insurance issue on the stereo shops behalf.... I asked how much the bill was and it was over $800. I told him just to charge the battery back up and I would just pick the truck up & deal with it. He said he still needed to put it back together (I found odd because he had already put the parts on and said that was not the issue & he believed all the modules in the truck were fried) So he called me the next week and said, more bad news... The truck wont hold a charge now you have to get it towed out of here and put the truck out in the alley behind the shop. Frustrated, I let the stereo shop that installed the amp 1 year prior know what was going on. The stereo shop said they would stand behind it if it was indeed their fault and that they would also have someone tow my truck to their shop in Montrose. To make a long story Short, the stereo company had my truck 1 day. They said all they did was re-connect everything that Tayshen Automotive did not re-connect & run a new amp wire & the truck started right up and held a charge and that I could come pick it up. Once I picked it up I noticed right away all my driver side door buttons no longer function and a mouse/mice had gotten in the truck (probably when parked in the alley *never had mice in any of my vehicles & this still upsets me) Stereo company was bummed because the truck did not even need towed, if they would had just completed what they did it would have ran. I would like to see Tayshen reimburse them for the tow. As another note, Barry formerly worked at Wollert in Montrose and we had a major issue with him there on a transmission issue on a van that was under warranty and NEVER got taken care of because of him. We had to trade the van in to Flower Subaru with a bad transmission and lost ALOT of money! If I would have known he worked at this shop I would have never taken my truck anywhere near there :(Service: General repairs & maintenance

I want to Thank Tayshen Automotive on Easton Ave CO. for providing exceptional services to my Son and his girlfriend recently. They were traveling far from home and the car had scary unknown gas pressure type problems. We thank God for sending them to your company. They were treated with friendliness and kindness. The repair needed was diagnosed and fixed and they were on road again. Thank y'all for taking care of my kids. Your honesty and professionalism is greatly appreciated. Thank You from Texas!

When my alternator went out on my pickup coming back from Ridgeway with my 5th wheel trailer Triple A towed me to their recommended garage which is Tayshen Automotive in that area. I was back on the road in a couple of hours. They were friendly, helpful and reasonably priced. I was very pleased that what is usually a very unpleasant break down was actually not at all unpleasant thanks to Tayshen Automotive and their staff.

The technical explinations that Jamie and her daughter were able to give me, regarding my brake repair went above and beyond my expectations. Service was great as well as the results. 10/10 would recommend to a family member. Also there should be a Jamies list for local Delta area necessities. She rocks at recommendations.

The people @ Tayshen are wonderful, the whole team is very knowledgeable and honest, their integrity and professionalism are really what sets them apart from any other shop I have been to. Not once have I had to question a diagnosis or quote they gave me. I recommend them to anyone on the western slope that is in need of a reliable automotive repair team. The company is very involved with the community and even does canned food drive's to support local charities.

We bought a 2000 4 Runner...discovered a torn CV boot...they were honest about the price difference in replacing just the boot vs the axle assembly..it cost half as much to do the entire thing instead of just the boot...they got the part in on a thursday...we dropped it of at 7 am on monday and had it back in tip top shape by 11!! Very friendly, honest pricing...highly reccomend!!
