The service tech was very knowledgeable and answered all the questions I had. Mechanics had my car done in a timely fashion and were able to find air filter for my little Subaru Justy we call her the unicorn because there's very few around and everything is hard to find for her. I also had my outback serviced added differential oil and transmission fluid. I took it in because it was shifting very hard, I dropped it off Friday and picked it up Tuesday. Great group of people. Highly recommend. Both were fixed in time for nasty weather and as you can see we got it.

We are from Michigan and traveling through the area. Had a fuel leak on a 2011 Ford f250 . Kent and the guys took my truck in and diagnosed the issue with in minutes.Repaired the fuel line and got me back on the road.Awesome service definitely a 5 star operation for this worried traveler.

After having our radiator replaced in New Mexico we had another problem on our trip, a blown 125 amp fuse in our Chevy Van. Auto Masters was able to squeeze us in. Once again we found a great shop to help get us back on the road!Service: Electrical repairService: Electrical repair

Jeff did a great job . today i went in with a leak in the tire . fixed it , was very informational alerted my on other reasons why my car was making funny noises . gave me prices on the work i needed and didn't charge if fixing the flat im very satisficed with the work their. and Lisa went about and beyond calling to see if the work in the future would be under warranty, thank you Lisa and JeffService: Tires

We were traveling through and our car wasn t running well. They squeezed us in, diagnosed the problem and we were back on the road after three hours. They even drove us to Walmart and picked us back up. Very thankful!

Just had timing belt, water pump, & new radiator done on my daughters car. They did this work quickly and at a fair price. Her check engine light was on & they diagnosed problem quickly and now it's off. Her car is running great. This was our first time using them but will be using them again for any mechanic needs in the future on my vehicles.Service: Auto engine diagnostic

I don't know how it is possible, but Auto Masters made our car repair experience actually enjoyable. Debbie was a miracle worker and went out of her way to get us a radiator quickly so that we would not be stranded for too long. She was so kind. They quoted us an honest price. The mechanic was excellent and we have had no problems after continuing our trip and putting another 500 miles on our car. We would recommend Auto Masters to anyone for both their customer service and their quality.

I can t believe this place has any positive reviews. It took them six weeks to fix my car, in part because for a week they just didn t bother ordering any parts, and then it took ages to get the rest. They were intentionally not going to fix the cracked bumper so they could get it back to me faster even though it had already been over a month of waiting on other parts, so I still don t understand why they didn t just order that along with the other things in the first place. Then after paying several thousand dollars for their ridiculously overpriced services, I left and found out my car still has some electrical issues and the air conditioning doesn t work (a repair that they charged for). I m from out of state so even if I wanted to take my car back to them I couldn t, but I called several times to at least get some insight into the remaining problems, and they never called me back. That s actually fine, because I m looking forward to forgetting this entire experience. My recommendation is to take your business literally anywhere else, because the people who run this place are dishonest and incompetent.Services: Electrical repair, Steering & suspension repair, Painting, Electrical, Wheel alignment, Air conditioning

Typically take work trucks to Auto Masters, but my personal vehicle has been needing some significant repairs. Sam, Dave and all the employees are top notch professionals. The care, quality and detail they put into their work can't be beat. If you need anything from an oil change to a power steering pump replaced, you can't go wrong with Auto Masters. My wife and I were on our honeymoon when our car broke down in Utah near the four corners with a cracked radiator. It was the Fourth of July weekend and we called auto shops around and received plenty of discouraging responses. Sam answered the phone at Auto Masters and was very kind and helpful. She located the part while on the line with me, and she squeezed us in the following Monday so we could continue our trip as soon as possible.We took the car in on Monday, and one of their mechanics was out with food poisoning, so the owner stayed just to help us get our radiator replaced on time.The employees were so kind and hardworking and we were able to leave Cortez that same Monday. They really went above and beyond for us and we are so thankful. This kind of service is rare.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Outstanding mechanics and service! Honest, experts, timely! My family s Sequoia experienced a radiator overheat while pulling our trailer across the state for a week long camping trip. Auto Masters were able to get us in ASAP and what was an area that could have been very expensive (replace radiator, thermostat, head gasket) turned out to be only a radiator cap. They didn t take advantage and got us on our way! Thank you Dave and Debra!!

We are very happy with the service and repairs we received from Auto Masters. They were amazing to us ... Big thank you to Rick and Chris for saving our RV and putting us back on the road . We are so happy with the way our RV runs now..we were in good hands with Mechanic Chris. We highly recommend this company to everyone.

Their work is truly backed by knowledgeable mechanics who I trust not only with my company truck but with my personal vehicles as well. Their rates are fair and they work fast and efficient with utmost care to the vehicle. Excellent fast service and pricing!!! They went out of their way to check the warranty on parts installed in another state to save us money. They even provided a ride for my husband to & from their shop while they were working on our car. Took my truck in for front axle replacement and it took longer than expected for the parts. When I picked up my truck the mechanic was rude and chastized me impling that I damaged my truck on purpose as I wrote a check for a large amount of money that was mostly for labor. I was grateful that they took my truck and Sam was very nice and professional. I can't judge the quality of work at this time. As reported by Dave Duncan

One of the few places I could take my car to get worked on. They offered several different fixes to my brake problem. They fixed my brakes and at a reasonable price but it wasn't just the financial valued I obtained from my experience but rather the personal relationship. Great people with great values. 10/10 would recommend.

Car broke down outside of Cortez, had my car towed here for a diagnostic. When I went to pick it up 2 days later my car was damaged! The front end of my car had cracks and scratches that were not there when we dropped it off, and a whole vent was missing! The owner was very rude about it and claimed it came to them like that. I confirmed with the tow drive who dropped it off that none of the damage was there when we left it with them. Had to call the police and file a report. Terrible experience. This garage is shady. Do not go here.

Finding an honest auto mechanic shop is a great find. This one s is not.The reason I say this is the high pressure power steering hose that was replaced on the the Jeep was the same type hose with fake brass fittings that I bought from rock auto for $40 and you charged me $160 Plus labor. The courtesy ride that you gave me cost me over $300.

We were hearing a noise from the front end of the car on the Thursday before Labor Day Weekend while out on a cross country road trip. We called up Auto Masters Friday morning to see if they could take a look before we attempted to return home over the weekend.Dave and company were able to get us in, made a quick diagnosis, and really worked the phones to try to find the parts we needed to get us back on the road before the long weekend started. Their service and professionalism was beyond great. They were up front, honest, and really went the extra mile to ensure we would have a safe and enjoyable rest of our trip.It's hard for me to imagine finding a better shop to work on my car. We really appreciate everything they were able to do for out-of-towners, just trying to make it home.Thanks Dave and Crew!

Our sincere thanks, Auto Masters! Our little Gulf Stream RV ran perfectly all the way to Blue Spruce RV Resort after you took time away from a very full day of work to check her out thoroughly before letting us old broads continue driving. How grateful we were to find such an honest and dedicated auto repair service. There ARE good, reliable people in this world after all!

Auto Masters was able to diagnose and replace the bearing and clutch in my vehicle at a fair price. And everyone is so incredibly friendly. Within two days following a busy holiday weekend I was back on the road and the car is still running beautifully. Wish all my car breakdowns could be in Cortez! Thank you!

Had my brakes worked on today. The lady at the front counter (Debbie) was very hospitable and made sure I knew what was going on with my vehicle the whole way. Gave me multiple options as far as cost goes and explained them thoroughly. Also met the hands on owner (Dave) and he was a blast to visit with. Very busy shop for a reason. The reason is because they do quality work at an affordable price. I highly recommend them if you need work done on your vehicle.

We are from out of town, found ourselves 400 miles from home in an RV that didn't have power and was going 15mph uphill. Initially thought it was a transmission issue, went to "Jimmy's Transmission" shop in town, awesome guy there did some investigation and figured it wasn't transmission and sent us to Auto Masters. At Auto Masters, Dave and gang took us in the same day, and after some diagnostic work, figured out the problem and were able to repair in timely matter for reasonable price. Now it's working great! If we had further problems we would go back there for sure. Highly recommended.

Dave and the staff at Automasters are absolutely great! I have had all needed repairs over the years on my 2001 Tacoma. I trust them and Automasters is my first choice for auto repair! I highly recommend it. Terrible service. Extremely secretive people. Hard to get into contact with the owner or with anyone.Do not trust with foreign cars.They destroyed my Audi and paid for my plane ticket, hotel room, and a rental car while they tried to do it a second time. After worsening the issue, they were never able to fix it. I had to tow my Audi to Texas where they fixed it at the dealership. Texas dealership told me they stole parts and replaced parts with parts that would ve blown up my entire engine. This process took three months. This was such a nightmare of an experience that it could actually make a really good movie. Unbelievable.

Auto Masters saved the day when I discovered an issue with my car while on a road trip far from home. I appreciated their honest appraisal of the issue, their quick service and their reasonable prices. With the help of Auto Masters, I was able to continue my road trip on schedule. I give Auto Masters the highest accolades....5 stars! My son and I limped into Cortez in our old 1970 Ford pickup that was running so bad it died outside the city. Another mechanic shop could not help and recommended AMC. Tom and crew dropped what they were doing and jumped right in to figure out the problems; a bad carb vacuum line and electrical interference with the coil. In an hour we were back on the road. Auto Masters goes above and beyond. What started out to be a simple headlamp fix, began with the hood not even opening! Then the lamp wasn't even the problem. Even though they squeezed my car into their schedule thinking it would be a quick fix, they still took their time to ensure the hood release would operate and find the source of the lamp issue (which turned out to be a lot of dirt jammed into the socket). I left with everything operating great...and the new mylar coat they put on the headlights was so good that I thought the high beams were on, though they weren't. I highly recommend them!

We ran in to car trouble at Mesa Verde, and we asked for a recommendation for a car repair place nearby. Auto Masters was highly recommended, and we found this to be well-deserved. Everybody at Auto Masters was very knowledgable, courteous, professional, and helpful! Our car was diagnosed quickly, they hunted down the parts online, and had us back on the road within 24 hours. We even got a ride to our hotel! Two thumbs up!
