Shout out to the team at Indian Peaks Auto in Boulder. As most know, they specialize in Eurovans among others. They kept my 2003 Weekender on the road when I lived in Boulder.Even though I moved to the East Coast 4-years ago, they still answer my questions, provided advice & even help find rare parts for me. Can t say enough about them. Thanks!Bryan CliffordBethany Beach, DE

I've never felt more taken care of by a mechanic team than Indian Peak Auto. It's like having a family member who is a car expert. Thanks for the wonderful experience.

A shout-out long overdue. Been working with Jamie and his team to take care of my 02 Eurovan for years now and feel like I m always in great hands. I always feel I can 100% trust them with reasonable charges and to do exactly what needs to be done.I also briefly owned a Subaru WRX that was giving me problems with the turbo, they quickly realized what the problem was and took care of it for a small charge.A few times I also got great advice over the phone to troubleshoot small stuff in on my own too.Best and most reliable and knowledgeable mechanics I have ever worked with. Don t need to look anywhere else for Eurovan work, and if I ever got another car I would start here for sure.

I really trust Jamie and the other folks at Indian Peaks. I have a 2002 Eurovan and for the last 2 years, Jamie has kept it in great shape, through various issues that she's had. They are so knowledgeable about VWs there, which can be hard to find (I've had issues with other mechanics when I've been traveling and out of town.)Pricing has been fair, and transparent up front, and Jamie is thorough, friendly, and takes the time to go through things and explain what's up. He's also really gone the extra mile for me a couple of times - putting on roof rack and box, wiring up solar and battery, giving advice and also sorting out my emissions. I love my van, and these guys keep her roadworthy. This is really specialized service, with a depth of knowledge of VWs, especially Eurovans, that you sure don't find many places. Thank you Indian Peaks!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Engine repair, Auto emissions testing, Vehicle safety inspection, Brake service & repair, Battery, Oil change

Jamie and his team helped me evaluate and ultimately purchase a 97 Eurovan camper from a third party. Jamie was thorough and extremely helpful. He shared his knowledge about the van and its condition, and after I bought it helped with the repairs. He had been generous with his time and his expertise is incredible!Services: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle InspectionServices: General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Vehicle Inspection

Disgrace!I strongly recommend that you do not go to this mechanic, where there are people who have no idea or knowledge about the mechanics of the car. They say that they repair Audi on their website, but they do not even have VCDS. They change parts according to the response of a simple OBD2 and rip people off. I went because the oil light was on, and as a result of the diagnosis, they told me that the car doors were painted, my 4 tires were different from each other, some parts of my car were aftermarket, and they charged $200 for it. Then they received 2 hours labor fee for spark plug and ignition coils. (I called back 3 minutes after giving approval for the spark plug replacement and they said they had already changed it. They charged 2 hours of labor for 3 minutes of work.) I paid $650 for the replacement of spark plugs. The problem was not solved of course. I said that the problem might be from PCV Valve. They said no, definitely not. Then they said they need to replace the oil pressure sensor and oil pressure switch. I paid another $1000 for these two easy replacements. The problem was still not resolved. After that, the only piece of PCV Valve remained unchanged. They called and said that definitely the most smartest thing would be to replace the PCV Valve. They asked for a fee of $700. After that, of course, I didn't stay there any longer. I replaced the PCV Valve myself with the part I bought online for $30. The problem was still not resolved. As a result of my research, I realized that the problem was caused by the Oil pressure switch. But this isn't the brown one that the mechanics replaced. Another blue colored oil pressure switch. The brown one measures the oil pressure at high rpm, while the blue one measures the oil pressure at low rpm. I just got this. Those who call themselves mechanics knew the problem was at low rpm, but they still replaced the brown oil pressure switch because the brown switch was easy to reach (just above the engine, it takes only 1 minute to replace). They charged me only $400 for the $20 part and 1 minute labor work. They didn't even change the blue one. As a result, I paid around $1700 and received the car as I gave it. They couldn't fix anything. It may be that the car may not be fixed as a result of the repair, but the point I am criticizing is that these guys do this job without their knowledge and earn money.

Thank you Indian Peaks! I took my VW CC here for the first time after receiving an astronomical quote from another business in Boulder. The techs here at Indian Peaks found out that the majority of the services the previous place wanted to charge me half the value of my car for were unnecessary.I dropped the car off in the afternoon and they replaced the brakes and had it all ready for me by 9:30am the next morning, it was so fast and I was only without a vehicle for a short period of time. They are ethical in their business, communicative, and do quality service. Indian Peaks Auto will now have my business, thank you all very much!Services: Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection

This was once a great place to get an Audi serviced roughly 10 years ago. I am assuming there is new ownership. I will say when cost of the work comes in 50% over the estimate and the invoice shows no break down between parts and labor I have to question the ethics of the business. Will never go back.EDIT: Your invoices are clear with labor and parts? The invoice I was provided didn't break out parts and labor at all, just a lump sum charge. As far as a phone call is concerned, leaving a voicemail AFTER the work is done is hardly a notification that the cost will increase.Service: Electrical repair

We got a Eurovan camper in 2013 and Indian Peaks had been caring for the van with previous owner...we continued to take our van there after meeting and talking with Jackson and Jamie...Jamie now has been taking care of our van for several years and I couldn't be happier...he not only does what I bring the van in for, but always is looking for other issues...Jamie is always willing to talk with me about the work he does or recommends...I really appreciate his advice and recommendations...I would not want to take Eurovan anywhere else...thanks for all you do...

I had an issue with a car I purchased 2 months previous. I dropped it off at the shop, and the guys encouraged me to talk to the dealer before starting on any repairs. It was really reassuring of their morals, that they were looking out for my well being and not just trying to take my money. I ended up getting the repair done through Indian Peaks Auto and it was done in a few days, exactly to their estimate! I would highly recommend them!

We've been taking our three used VW's to Indian Peaks for years and I can tell you they are the best!I don t know much about cars so the thing I hate most about bringing my cars into have them serviced is that I never really know if the services being prescribed are necessary. It gives me great peace of mind knowing I won t be oversold at Indian Peaks. They are an honest and talented group with years of experience (yes, they are getting old). You can t go wrong taking your car to Indian Peaks.

Feel so fortunate to find these folks! While travelling out west with my family, our Eurovan had issues... it's rare that I feel really confident in who's working on my vehicle and how honest they are. Jamie and folks were awesome. I wish I lived closer or I would schedule everything through them. Wasn't a cheap repair but it worked out great and Jamie pulled me into the garage to see what was going on and contacted me about other recommendations. He's a true professional and I cannot recommend them enough...Cheers!

As a single woman, I trust Indian Peaks Auto. Now, ladies, TRUST, that s the operable word. Right? Trust is the reason I recommend you take your beloved car to the guys at Indian Peaks Auto. I ve trusted these guys for years. They fix what needs fixing, nothing more, for a price that is honest and fair. These guys will take care of your car. They will tailor their service to meet your car's needs. You can ask them anything about your car and, like the Car Talk guys, the Indian Peaks Auto guys will give you a considerate, individualized, practical and intelligent answer. A different garage years ago told me Gremlins were to blame for what at that time was my car s malady, and that there was nothing they could do. Gremlins!?! I assure you, Indian Peaks will never answer you with It's Gremlins . Oh yes, elsewhere through the years I ve had my share of bad auto shop experiences. However, now, because of Indian Peaks Auto, I am free from mechanic monsters. I feel safe taking my car to Indian Peaks Auto, and I feel safe driving down the road. Here I ve found just what I need from an auto repair shop. I depend on the trustworthy, individualized service I receive with every visit to Indian Peaks Auto.

Because of other customers great reviews I brought my 2006 Saab 9-3 Aero here to replace missing sideview mirrors, faulty windshield wipers, and attach new emblems. This auto repair shop is awesome! Very efficient and honest. Instead of charging me for replacement parts and labor for the wipers, Slawek repaired them and recommended replacing the worn blades. I left loving my experience and after trying every Saab familiar competitor between Denver and Fort Collins- this is my Saab's doctor. I spent less than originally estimated, was complete earlier than expected and have confidence these technicians know how to fine tune this great vehicle. They are also very honest and easy to work with. Thanks Indian Peaks for being awesome!

Since 2014, I've been taking my newer model VW diesels and TSIs to Jamie and Tod for all my post-factory warranty services, and Indian Peaks is always top-notch. My two-year old 2017 model Golf Alltrack was due for it's 40k service, which is a major service milestone. Because few newer model VWs have reached this mileage, not even the dealers I called in Denver & Boulder could figure out accurately or agree about what needed to be done, much less give a reliable price for the work. Working with Kevin, Indian Peaks' Service Manager, Jamie, and one of their experienced VW mechanics, the proper service needed for my Alltrack was accomplished. It's a labor intensive job & parts are expensive, but Indian Peaks delivered with a fair price for the work. These guys are what honest mechanics and businesses are, and I won't take my VW anywhere else. Thanks, guys!

I've been taking our Audi S4 there for years and they are a good bunch of guys doing good work. They are always willing to work with you on options when appropriate (i.e. the Audi switch, we can get it new $500 or used for $100 but the trade off is a day to get the used one). I have sent several other people to them and all have been happy.

A trusted source for VW repairs and maintenance. I have been going to Indian Peaks for over 10 years. They have helped me with a number of issues, most often check engine light and other issues. The crew has been together for a long time, with some recent turn over. I appreciate their honest help.

Great car repair shop. Very honest and knowledgeable people. I took my vw jetta here multiple times for various repairs and oil changes. Jackson and his team were patient and clearly explained what they recommended to be done. They did not force on me repairs which were not necessary and the costs of their work and parts were reasonable. They let me bring in my own parts for a power steering repair. Great shop and great people.

I've owned two Volkswagen Jetta's over the past 33 years and have been taking them to Indian Peaks for about 25 years. I've always found them to be straight-forward, honest, knowledgeable, and skilled. Fortunately, I am able to do most routine work on my cars and have even tackled some challenging repairs. The folks at Indian Peaks have recognized that and have been helpful in diagnosing problems and indicating whether the repairs are something I could probably address or whether it's going to require their special talents, tools, etc.Finding an auto repair shop that you can feel confident in can be a challenge. After the VW diesel scam, I decided to not buy another VW, so I'm now wishing Indian Peaks worked on Toyotas.Be prepared to leave your car for the day. The work is usually done when they say it will be. They will call if there are complications.

I have a 1999 Passat with 170,000 miles on it. Due to the extraordinary care provided by the guy at Indian Peaks, it still runs like new. They're honest, do their best to do cost-effective repairs (using used or rebuilt parts, when appropriate), and are a joy to work with.

My transmission went on my 03 Euro Van Weekender while driving to Grand Targhee for a week of mtn biking. When I returned home (via tow truck) I began searching the web for what to do and that's when I came upon Indian Peaks.I called them and explained what I thought was wrong and could they give me a ballpark for the cost to fix something like that. Yikes!! that's a lot of money! But what choice did I have since I wanted my van back on the road?I live about 2 hours away from their shop near Breckenridge. So I had my van towed to them.Upon further investigation, (by Jaime) my van was indeed in need of a rebuilt transmission. As stated earlier, not cheap! While investigating the initial issue of the transmission Jaime discovered a number of other issues/problems that he said were in need of fixing. Now, I'm not made of money, but my van, (Althea) is my baby and I want her to continue to run so I said, "go ahead, just fix them." I also had a few other things that I also wanted fixed, (door locks, sliding door hinge, non working passenger window, antenna and pop top seal) and Jaime agreed to fix them all. Jaime's knowledge of the Euro Van is impressive! So, 4 weeks later the van was ready for pick up. I picked up the van and the following day headed to Crested Butte for a socially distanced van mtn biking adventure. Althea ran like a champ!!When I returned home a few days later and parked I happened to notice a stain on my drive under the van. I started the van to move it and the dripping started/continued. I sent a pik to Jaime and he immediately called. Jaime asked me a few questions and after further discussing what was going on, he said that, "he wasn't sure that it would be a good idea for me to drive it all the way to the shop." Jaime then offered to drive up to my house to have a look. Yep - he offered to drive 2 hours to my house to look. Now, I know what you're thinking, "he didn't really mean that did he?" Well yes he did. Jaime just left my house after fixing the issue. Apparently it was due to a couple of clamps that needed changing. Now as a person that has worked in the customer service training industry, this my friends is what I would call, "above and beyond!" The funny thing is, I actually thought about asking him to come check it out, but he beat me to it. Jaime knows Euro Van inside and out.The moral of this story - outstanding customer service and quality work leads to a new life long customer!!! Thanks Jaime and Indian Peaks!Services: Transmission, General repairs & maintenance

I took my Audi there for the first time and everyone there got all of the suspension problems fixed for much cheaper than any other place in town. They were all very quick and friendly. I will definitely be taking my Audi here again!

I've been dealing with these guys since 2000, and I can't say enough good things about them - they are honest, hard working and thorough on their repairs. I've recommended them to several of my friends who have become long term customers themselves. If I've had a question about a repair, they've taken the time to explain it to me so that I can have a better understanding - their service can't be beat, and has saved me lots of $$ in the long run.

Jackson and the crew at Indian Peaks have taken great care of my 1997 Jetta for as long as I've owned it, quickly and for a fair price. I recommend this shop to everyone who drives a VW.
