My side mirror got broken off, and I went in for a quote. One guy just walked over and looked at my broken mirror for literally 5 seconds, and without turning my car on and checking the signaling, he told me the blinker wiring was broken. It was not, everything worked just fine Then we went to order the parts, and they told me they would have to charge me $250 for them to paint JUST my side mirror cover matte black. They also tried to charge me $200 more for the parts than what I found online from another Volkswagen dealer. So he lowered the price for me a bit, which I was grateful for. I still felt something was off with the pricing for parts and labor. So I went to another place for a quote, they were far less expensive, by $500. Not only that, they looked up all the parts and found out that my mirror cover did NOT need any paint. They were trying to charge me $250 FOR NOTHING, taking complete advantage of me being a trusting customer. So yeah, obviously not the place to be.

I had an appointment at 11:30 AM and was there at 11:00 AM. Obviously I didn t expect them to work on it immediately, but figured being there earlier won t hurt. That was the last time I spoke with my Advisor, Carlos. He asked if I needed a shuttle ride and declined letting him know I would just wait. He said okay. After 2 1/2 hours waiting, I was approached by the Sales Manager letting me know that they are still working on my car. He asked if I needed anything I stated no, that I should be okay. I spent hours walking back and forth from the Service to the Sales department with multiple people acknowledging. It wasn t until 3:15 PM that I went up to the Advisor to ask him the ETA on my vehicle. He states, Diagnostics take a full day . Never was that communicated to me at the beginning, NOT ONCE. I spent my whole day off in a Dealership Service lobby. Then he states, I thought you left . How did you not see me walk through the Service Department, up to the Sales Department, then back down, then back up? Not once did he come up to me and let me know anything! I made eye contact with him. Everyone there is very nice, and I am not trying to be a Karen. This is just not okay. He was not even able to look at me in the eyes to tell me what he said. It s disappointing. I will not return to take my vehicle here.

I have on multiple occasions been a customer of the Emich VW service department. Each occasion has met my expectations and I have not had any issue with either the work performed or the personnel. This week, I stopped in for a minor issue and was immediately taken care of. More so, my experience this week was above and beyond what was required of them and affirmed that they were more concerned with my satisfaction as a customer than with maximizing every penny of profit. I will continue to take my business to the Emich Service Department without reservation because of this experience.

RUN. WORST SERVICE i have received at literally any VW dealership. Completely full of dishonesty and will avoid answering any question you may ask. Avoid Chris Halpert ESPECIALLY. Carlos was my scheduled rep and not in a single point in the process except drop off did i interact with him. i even left a couple things slightly off in my engine to see if you guys would notice the most obvious thing or not. You didn t notice it, and i was testing if you did honest work and oh boy did you guys miss that mark by a long shot. Do yourself a favor and take your VW to a real mechanic. i don t even trust these guys to not mess up a car.

Was disappointed to hear the 12 month warranty on the rear main seal they previously worked on was not honored.
