My 22 year old Jetta died just before the Covid shutdown. I tried to troubleshoot it on my own (unsuccessfully), so it sat for months and I biked or ran to work when we reopened. When fall was looming I decided it was time to find a new shop and get my baby on the road again. Aaron was extremely communicative via email to arrange my appointment (important because my work days are not phone-call friendly), and once there, Chris had my car fixed in less than 24 hrs. He also reached out to explain what he wanted to do - and how much it would cost - before he did it.Then something else went wrong and I brought it back to Shaus. Chris again diagnosed and fixed the issue within a few hours. Aaron also took time to drop me off at home since I hadn't planned a ride. Once Chris figured out why my car's lights weren't working, he took the time to explain it all to me. It's obvious he loves what he does and understands how cars work - this guy is not just replacing stuff until something good happens.Finding an ethical, knowledgable, and genuinely nice mechanic - especially for an older German car - is really hard, but I found exactly that at Shaus. These guys take the same level of pride in their work as I do in mine . This is the third shop I've tried for this car, and third time is a charm. Chris and Aaron of Shaus Motorsports are great people to do business with. They are polite, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles they repair. We found ourselves stranded in Aurora with a bad alternator on a BMW X3 120 miles from our vacation spot. Upon hearing our story, Chris immediately made room in his schedule to help get us fixed and on our way. He diagnosed our issue in less than 15 minutes, worked up an estimate and ordered parts to arrive within 2 hours. While waiting for them to arrive, he worked quickly and thoroughly to get everything ready for installing parts as soon as they arrived. While everyone else in town couldn t help us until Wednesday, Chris and Aaron at Shaus Motorsports got us fixed up and back on the road in about 4 hours total. Would love to have these guys in Texas with us they d get all our repair business.

This shop has done right by me. First time I brought my 2003 VW Golf, they repaired the issue, but there were underlying issues that weren't caught at the time. They repaired those at cost, because they felt they should have found the issue when the car was there in the first place. Recently I went in after driving over pieces of a car accident in the road, puncturing my oil pan and seizing my engine. They cranked her back to life by hand so that I didn't have to have a new engine installed. Both times they were courteous, professional, and pretty quick on the turn around. They didn't try to con me into anything, they made sure they were clear on the issue and helped me to make an informed decision. I will continue to bring my car here until her inevitable end, and if I buy another euro I'll keep coming here. Trust me when I say this is a trustworthy shop.

NOT INSURED DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE.This guy flooded our SQ5 because he forgot to roll the windows up during a service. He totaled the electrical system and won t except fault. Who doesn t have business insurance, Aaron doesn t?

I brought my B8.5 S4 in for a GIAC Stage 1 tune. I worked with Aaron, who was knowledgeable and did a great job with the tune. Note: You will not get a dealership experience with Shaus Motorsports. However, you will also not get a "stealership" experience here either.I would recommend working with Aaron to have your Audi tuned.Service: Auto engine tuning

They got me all the information I needed to get back on track with my new turbo install. They couldn't do the remote tuning I was looking but no fault of their own I get it. Yet the guy I talked to on the phone got me pointed in the right direction. Any company that doesn't offer the service you are looking for but still goes out of the way to get you the information you need deserves your business.

I had them swap my battery out in my BMW.Recent: My car was running rough after getting some gaskets replaced somewhere else. I called them up and they were able to look at my car right away. He told me exactly what the issue was and what the fix was. Chris will have my business for many years to come. If you have BMW AUDI VW this is the spot to take it to. Thanks Chris!

If you want your car done right, you come here. Chris and Aaron has been amazingly supportive. The team is always thinking passed just fixing a simple repair, they want you to have a long lasting result. Not only that Chris is very responsive and transparent. I feel like I am part of the Motorsport network. If I had to pick from 2 different shops, I will always go back to Shaus Motorsport even if I have to pay more. That s how much I love this place. Keep up the good work team!Update 3/20/2019Again, these guys are seriously the best. I dropped my car off after I had it go through a multi-point inspection from a dealer, these guy took the job and got it done so fast that I honestly didn t believe Chris that it was done. The multipoint inspection took 6 days at a dealer.... these guys got me a new oil pan, rebuilt driveshaft and valve gasket in 4 days!!!!! I seriously trust these guys. I wouldn t be coming back to update an old review unless it was that great of a service. Thanks again team!

The owner, Chase, claimed that he legally could not let me drive my car away from his shop when I declined to have his shop replace the tie-rod ends on my car. I did some quick research, confirmed with Aurora PD and Arapahoe Co. Sheriff, and confronted him on the fact that there is no Colorado law that allows a repair shop to keep a vehicle because the shop owner feels the car is unsafe to drive, but he refused to back down - even going so far as to threaten to call his lawyer and an Aurora PD detective on me. I couldn't believe how he was acting, especially since his shop has so many good reviews, but maybe he was just having a bad day. Either way, this all started with him performing a diagnostic on my air conditioning where he found a few other problems I had not asked him to look at, so I have to give him credit for going above and beyond the work order. I would not direct any of my friends to this shop because of this experience.

Aaron and team at Shaus Motorsports performed a full diagnostic on my 2012 VW Jetta. I experienced engine problems and two broken actuators. My car was starting to stall/shake and car doors no longer locked. The service was performed professionally, on-time, and at a reasonable rate. My car now drives like it was brand new off the lot. Literally one of the best consumer experiences I have ever had, and certainly the best car related experience I have ever had, without a doubt. I called on a Wednesday to get a quote on some work for my vehicle. After all was said and done, I was told the repairs, with parts, labor and tax would cost $X,XXXX and my vehicle would be ready on Tuesday. Not bad I said, price wise or time wise. Less than a week for all of that, even after ordering parts? I can live with that. What SHOCKED me was the fact that they called me on FRIDAY and told me that my vehicle was ready. What shocked me even more was that the original estimate and what I was actually charged was only a difference of $25 and some change. Add to the fact that the customer service was hands down badass, and you, my friends, just made a customer for life. Or, for as long as I own a foreign vehicle, anyway. If you work on Domestic cars, and by domestic cars, I mean cars that are built in Canada :) let me know. I have an issue with my...well, my car.In all seriousness, great job guys. I have not stopped talking about how amazing you all were. Thank you so much for taking care of my children's main source of transportation. I would give you guys 10 stars if I could!

Originally I gave them 5 starts. Changing it to 1 based upon the quality of work I got from the shop. I paid them a fair amount of money to do a full bumper to bumper check on my Audi. They missed major issues with the car, did a horrible job on the work. I took the car to another shop after they had done the work, and the other shop found that they did a horrible job on the work performed. As mentioned above, missed a bunch of problems with the car on their full car check . Would never go back, as I just flushed money down the toilet with them. Ended up selling the car.

Went in for a tune and for a downpipe install and everything went great. Talked to Chris and the team before hand and scything went smooth and they are very knowledgeable so you will be in good hands! Most recently, Chris researched and installed a methanol port injection system on my 2013 335. Initially, I specified one brand. Chris determined the best way to realize maximum horsepower and torque was to install a Prometh brand port injection system. The horsepower and torque results are earth moving! The install quality is superb and aside from the visible tank in the trunk, everything is hidden from the engine bay through the interior of my car.Previously, Aaron and Chris superbly collaborated on the purchase and install of a Pure Stage 2 turbo, software upgrade, and plasma coils.I overwhelmingly endorse Chris and Aaron s craftsmanship from high performance planning, installation, routine maintenance all at a very reasonable price. Shau s Motorsports cannot be beat!

Took my car here because I could hear and AC motor under the car was going out, I just didn't know what motor it was. Scheduled a diagnostic and when I came in a mec came out to the parking lot and told me what was bad just by listening, It was my fuel pump. I did the repair myself so I can't say how good their quality of work is. But I had a good experience with these guys and if I have a problem that's over my head in the future, I'll likely come here.

I was referred to Shaus Motorsports by EuroService regarding performance tuning for my Audi. They did fantastic precision work and I am very happy. I highly recommend them for your Audi, BMW, Porsche, or Volkswagen!

Had my entire motor rebuilt head to toe, along with several other repairs. Chase and Aaron are the best in the area and will save you $$$ from the stealerships. They now have a customer for life!

I have an Audi A3 Quattro 2.0T. The transmission started giving me trouble so I took it in to Aaron and the guys at Shaus, with the odds stacked against my pocket book, they were able to deliver amazing news and help get it back on the road within a few weeks. While it was there and getting fixed I had a G.I.A.C. stage 1 plus tune as well as a G.I.A.C. stage 2 DSG tune. AMAZING RESULTS the trans shifts smoothly I can feel it relearning my driving habits. The tunes added beautiful and very noticable amounts of speed difference. My take offs are quicker and my over all power is about 50 to 70hp greater. These guys walked me through every step. Friendly hard working and good at what they do. I would reccomend again and again. Thanks guys will be back for more!

Took my rs7 to this location for an oil change, the shop returned my vehicle with the panels under the car placed incorrectly and a a crack on the windshield...I recommend this shop not take high end cars in for service stick to the older cars. If your car is 2013 and up take it to an actual shop these guys are mediocreService: Oil changeService: Oil change

I would not recommend this mechanic to anyone. They were rude and a complete waste of my time and money. My car was in their shop for two weeks before even being looked at. They priced me to tell me everything I knew already. I took my vehicle to get fixed instead they tried to over price way above average. They have a horrible work ethic.

If i can rate this a 0 I would , i paid 800$ for a fuel pump , not only were they adding nonsense fees but they never solved the issue to my starting problem , they told me it was the fuel pump, after they installed the fuel pump it still didn't start and I had to pay the 800. 2 weeks later my friend said it was an 8$ tube that I need to install and everything would be good again , I installed it and sure enough it fixed the problem.
