Walked in asking for spark plugs for my motorcycle, and none of them spoke english.... last time I checked, I never moved down to South America. Idk if none of them knew english or not, but they refused to speak it if they did. Great job, auto zone.

AutoZone saved my bacon this morning. I d been dealing with recurring problems with my car s battery; while not that old (about 4-5 years old), the recent cold weather ravaged my car s battery, resulting in me having to jump it at least once per day. When the car battery died (again) this morning after 5-10 minutes of the car being unattended, I said enough was enough. I arrived at the E Quincy Avenue location right at 8:00AM, explained my situation to Zach, the main technician opening up for the day, and he helped me out in 20 minutes flat. He carefully listened to my situation, answered any and all questions I had, and replaced my car s battery with advisements on maintenance and warranty with enthusiasm and the utmost professional courtesy. If any of Zach s supervisors read this, give this man a raise!

I've went to this store 20 + years , had no issues with old management James but now with a new employees very don't care for the costumers very rude how they talk the African American lady just look so rude and don't care. So sad.

The experience is just so sub-par of what you d expect. And in today s day and age, I don t expect much. I mean, I can buy anything they sell on Amazon for the same price without all the teen angst attitude. The employees tend lack basic skills in handling multiple customers and multiple tasks. Perhaps it was just this particular location, but with Advanced and O Reilly close by and Amazon just one click away, I don t see any reason to visit here again. Hey, but at least they had a battery that I was looking for.

On October 16, 2023, I needed to purchase a new battery for my 2008 Subaru Legacy. As soon as I walked into the store Noah Regalado Navarro offered me assistance. I asked him if he could loan me a wrench to remove the battery from my car. He offered to help me to remove the battery and help me with the new battery. One of my battery cables was severely damaged and he offered me to help me with it. It was so refreshing to have such wonderful customer service. Such simple common courtesy from a young man. You made my life so much better with your kindness and help. Thanks Noah, you rock!

Came in for a wiper. The cashier looked up parts, sold me the wrong one. Went back inside when I saw it wouldn't fit. That cashier was gone. The "manager" had a "so what" attitude

Yesterday I bought a pair of wiper blades for front windshield and used my Apple Pay . After a while I got notification from my Apple Pay about $86.37, hard to believe because the employee told me the price is $39.99 and even he hasn t given a receipt. Why $86.00 for just a pair wiper blades?

Employee messed up while refunding a $10 core charge for an alternator and I was only issued half the core refund. A $5 "CRACKED OR BROKEN HOUSING" charge was added on to the receipt, and the manager on duty ("Christian") acknowledged the mistake, but said will have to come back when the other manager is there to fix as he does not know how to. He seemed to take issue when I photographed the old "core" alternator as I wanted to document that the housing was indeed not damaged. I think he was expecting that I would just take the loss due to their mistake. Like most people, I work for a living and don't have time to be running around especially over someone else's mistake. Therefore, I will be contacting the regional office and if they do not rectify, I will be calling my credit company to dispute as I have photographic evidence that the core was returned as per AutoZone's T+C. Way to loose a longtime customer over $5 guys.

Worst experience a customer could receive. Manager Troy refused to honor veteran's discount on a $230 purchase even with a huge sign was in the window and we had veteran's I'D card. When we said we would just post our experience on FB he said fine and threw items at my wife at the register. That was enough of an issue for me and I told him we wanted a refund and that he was not going to assault my wife verbally or physically. He refused to let me either take my paid merchandise or give us a refund and forced me out of the store. I called the police. They were able to get my refund even though at first he argued with and refused to cooperate with them.This Manager ( term used loosely here) needs remedial training (if he is even retainable as an employee) or best case a position in the warehouse where he won't expose his anger and dislike for veteran's/customers/people to the very ones responsible for his salary....the customer. Surely it is not AutoZone policy to allow their employees, especially management, to be allowed to physically threaten and verbally abuse women customers. We will never be back to an AutoZone and we will highly recommend to others to shop somewhere else, we will share our experience with everyone. On the plus side, by shopping at your competitor we saved $55 on exact same product and got free installation. Thanks Troy!

Customer service was awful! Me and my boyfriend went in to get some things and it took them forever to even find it, they were talking up a storm with each other, cussing and talking on the phones and not helping anyone who was in need of help. Not only that, but the guy who was checking us out decided he would take a phone call right in the middle of our checkout. It s unprofessional and unbelievable. Even if it s a laid back type of job, customers should ALWAYS be treated with respect and employees should value a customers experience.

The guys working here were super nice and helpful! They even put on my new wipers for me, way faster than I could ve done it. The guy who replaced the batteries in my key fobs must do it all the time since he made it look so easy. Good prices and great service.

Car started throwing weird codes. Stopped in real quick. The employee very quickly got a obd code reader on the car printed out results. Thank you so much for the speedy service.

This AutoZone pretty cool they usually have everything I need.I really like how some employees get really in depth about the questions I asked and they can break it down like a Rubik's Cube that's the only reason I keep coming by shopping there. I just wish they hire more people that knew more about cars then to hire somebody just there for a paycheck (Night Crew)

EDIT: Below was my first review of AutoZone under the initial circumstances. I originally gave them 1 star for selling me the wrong part and costing me $600 for a mechanic to fix my car because of it. But after I left the bad review, AutoZone reached out to me and gave me $600 to cover the situation. Dirk Latham and his customer service team were fantastic at owning up to AutoZone's mistakes and went to great lengths to make things right. Definitely deserves 5 stars after that.Original review: Have gotten multiple bad parts from here that have costed me tons of additional labor and expenses. I got a new brake caliper from them that was supposed to be for the driver side front, but they sold me a passenger side front. This prevent me from being able to bleed my brakes and took a $600 mechanic visit just to figure out this was the issue. Learn from my lesson and shop somewhere else.

What an amazing experience! I walked in and was greeted immediately by Angel. I was needing some headlights replaced. Angel helped me right away find the right bulbs and installed the new ones for me even though it was cold and dark outside. He knew what he was doing and effectively changed the bulbs quickly. His friendliness and awesome customer service was top notch. His service alone will bring me back to this store without a doubt!

I asked if I could get my battery and alternator tested and some kid was like "Oh no you have to take your alternator out so that we can test it." Dude no I don't I've been here before don't lie to me lol. I went to O reillys instead and they came out to check it. Maybe dont lie to employees because you're lazy and don't know how to do it yourself. So pathetic

Awesome workers and great customer service. I came in to get my battery and alternator tested, turned out my battery was done. They took out the old one installed the new one for me. Extremely helpful. I will be back for any kind of automotive needs

James (the store manager) personally helped check my battery, pick out a new one and install it in a matter of minutes. He was very professional and courteous.I came here after getting a bad feeling about the store and employee s knowledge of another auto parts store down the street. Very poor customer experience at that other place.I am so happy that I trusted my gut and got the best service possible. Thank you so much James! You made my day!

I had to purchase a battery for my car, and Jason was super helpful at advising the correct one and getting me everything I needed to ensure it lasted longer. He was really friendly and helped install it in my car for me and it didn't take too long, I was in and out on my lunch break. Super appreciative of his assistance!
