Unreasonably incompetent & discourteous.It took 20 minutes of waiting just to check in for appointment and 15 minutes to process the check in.One of the Costco staff, Marcela, was asking another staff for help on every single thing.If something simple as checking in was this time consuming, I can only imagine how frustrating it would be when you have more advanced appointment or an issue they need to resolve.To make matters even worse, Marcela informed me that the service will take 1-2 hours and that they will call. After 2 hours passed without any call from them, I came to check the status and that s when Marcela told me that the service was done over an hour ago. Beyond baffling.

The level of incompetence at this facility is beyond comprehension! I have had issues here now twice in a row ordering the same tire. The first time, I was never called when the tire arrived and delayed in getting the replacement for a blowout done by a week. Upon finally calling me, I asked for an appointment time to get in and out in a timely fashion. Representative vehemently urged me to just come in first thing in the morning and that I did not need an appointment. Arrived first thing in the morning and was then told it would be 3 hours before they could get to it. Scheduled an appointment then and there after expressing my frustration and was not even offered an apology for wasting my time.Second time, I ordered the same tire. Asked the rep to order the same one as was on the last invoice. Tire arrived in a timely fashion, I set up an appointment and arrived early. Truck was taken in 15 minutes after my appointment time and then it took them an hour to figure out they had ordered the wrong tire. Again, no apology or offer to compensate wasting my time.The people who currently work their do not value their customers and have absolutely no clue what they are doing. Do not shop for your tires here. You will more than likely be disappointed.

1 StarI recently had a very disappointing experience at the Costco Tire Center in Arvada, Colorado. I had previously purchased a set of cross climate Michelin tires from this location and had been pleased with the service. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for my recent visit for a routine tire rotation and re-balance.Despite having a confirmed appointment at 6:15 PM and arriving 15 minutes early as requested in the confirmation email, my car was not ready for pickup until two hours and 15 minutes later. This delay is completely unacceptable for a scheduled service.Moreover, the attention to detail during this appointment was severely lacking. The tire pressure recommended for my tires is 33 psi, yet all four of my tires were inflated to 40 psi. When the tires were initially installed, the pressure was correctly set to 33 psi. This discrepancy is a clear indication of carelessness.In addition, the technician who worked on my car left dirty fingerprints all over the exterior. This unprofessionalism only further compounds my dissatisfaction with the level of service provided.Lastly, I was advised to return for a torque check after driving 25 miles. I did so, and despite making eye contact with four different employees, I was completely ignored. It felt as if I was invisible, a feeling no customer should ever experience.All things considered, I believe it is critical that a representative from Costco management reach out to rectify this situation. The level of service and lack of professionalism exhibited during this visit was simply unacceptable. I sincerely hope this was an isolated incident and not indicative of the overall quality of service at this location.

Love Costco everything. Love every employee. I live and breathe Kirkland. But the Costco Tire Center is an alternate universe of Costco. This review is to simply save someone else from not having to experience ordering and picking up tires here. Trust every other review. Not worth it. Not in the slightest. Will I still shop and use Costco for everything else? Hell ya. Just go somewhere else for tires

First, they messed up the order, then they didn t have the tires they sold and had to substitute other ones. Also, I had a 7:00 a.m. appointment which I showed up a few minutes early for. After waiting an hour and a half, they made ridiculous excuses and told it might be ready in 30 minutes. A really poor experience. They are incompetent, rude and dismissive of customer needs. Their lousy work and attitude outweigh any cost savings. Never again!!!

I bought tires online and had them shipped to the store. Booked an appointment online. Checked in for my appointment at the store and had my car back with all new tires in under an hour. Great experience.

Very helpful staff. We went there with a flat tire. Leena and another gentleman helped us when we were in a big rush to get to an important conference. So kind and timely even though it was a busy day for them. I really appreciate it!

Was told the tire size I wanted to order was incorrect, so I let the employee order for me. He got the size wrong and only realized after I brought the car in and got a ride home. Had to make a second trip, but they never even called me when the second order arrived. I waited a week and had to call them to find out they ve been sitting in the shop the whole time.

I came in for a rotation because the sticker indicated it was time. I made an appointment two weeks in advance. After 90 minutes of waiting, they called to tell me I didn t actually need to come in and they wouldn t be servicing my car. Don t bother coming here.

Aaron at Costco, Arvada tires, and his colleagues provided excellent service. I was in and out in just a bit more than one hour. Everyone in the entire department was completely courteous. They re an example to how the rest of the retail world might work. Much appreciated!!Steve

Unsafe to take off rusted lug nuts when they admitted that was their excuse because they wanted to go home on time. (We had an appointment way before closing) Changed the lug nuts ourselves and came back the next day and they claimed they couldn t balance one tire because the center piece in the wheel wouldn t come off. Took it off ourselves in the parking lot in less than 10 min watched them work and they are so slow it s painful to witness. There s a reason these morons aren t in a true mechanic shop because getting down and dirty to get the job done is clearly above their training. Never had these problems anywhere else. And anywhere else is better than what we just experienced.

Awful experience both times at the Costco Tire Center here - 0/5 do NOT recommend! I bought my tires here and all went well until the actual install. After my initial installation, I left with a light on in my vehicle dashboard that said "low tire pressure" and before driving away, I asked the floor manager why it was still on even after getting brand new tires and was told they couldn't do anything about it because they didn't have the proper sensors to re-install or even scan them (this is false - they DO have the scanner and just seem to be incapable of doing things properly). Not only did they not even scan my tire sensors, but just lied about re-programming my vehicle.. After that, I had to take my car to another dealership for them to tell me that the sensors were totally fine and they just didn't do the re-programming correctly.Then, fast forward - my tire light comes back on and just wanted to get them filled with Nitrogen (shouldn't be that difficult). As a precaution, I asked them to please check the sensors after filling them back up with Nitrogen. I get a call my vehicle is ready and come to find out they haven't checked the sensors like I asked. The floor manager there was extremely rude at first and lied saying my car didn't have any sensors even though they actually do. After going back and forth with her and her not listening to me, I needed to get this issue resolved as that's why I was there in the first place (for the second time). Luckily, my dad is a mechanic that lives out of state, so I gave him a call for him to explain to her exactly what needed to be done and suddenly my car sensors were found.. Long story short, she was not only rude to me, but I experienced her being very short and dismissive to another customer while waiting for her to try and figure out what was going on with my sensors.Not only was the issue not resolved and I now have to go to another dealership, it seemed like they don't have 1) technicians with the proper training and knowledge to get things done, but 2) the correct and operating tools in order to complete the job. Not to mention, they're rude and condescending.Overall, I would not recommend going here. It's been nothing but a total headache and time suck.

Avoid this location's tire center!While the prices on tires were as reasonable as you'd expect from Costco, the service and installation were the worst I've seen.I arrived early for my appointment, and it took 20 minutes to drop of my keys. They told me to expect 90 minutes for installation, so I waited a while before shopping for groceries in the store. Once the tires were installed, I was told to provide paperwork to the technician who was "pulling my car out of the bay now." I went outside and found the bay where my car was parked. Me and my frozen groceries sat in the sun waiting for my car to be moved out of the service bay. By the time my car was out of the bay, my frozen groceries were no longer frozen.

Why even schedule an appointment if they will take over 2 hours to put tires on. The pressures were all over the place too. Each tire was different. They are so disorganized, they initially gave me the wrong receipt and took 15 minutes to find my appointment and tires in the system. How is it that this Costco has way worse reviews than the one on Quincy or Riverpointe?

It's been 2 hours and 45 minutes since my appointment time and I still don't have my car back. Sitting in the Costco food court is fine for an hour, maybe an hour and a half, but this is just ridiculous...EDIT: After 3 hours and 15 minutes I am finally free! Without any irony they told me to come back for tire rotations but I think I'll be going elsewhere even if it costs me.

They may sell you a decent deal on tires but can t install them for Jack!They ve miss balanced and miss aligned my tires at every rotation. I ve had to pay for my own balance & alignment elsewhere now!!!!Only was right on the first install. Trash technician service and always underestimate the wait time for return of the vehicle ..

Purchased tires online at a great deal, they were delivered to the Arvada Costco Tire Center the next day. Called the shop and scheduled the install for the following day. Easy drop off and was called for pick up sooner than they had initially quoted me, which was awesome. A+ service from Avery! Thanks y all!

Do not get tires here!Tires installed poorly I am now stuck with a leaky tire. They refuse to get me in to fix it I ve waited many many hours and can t get service. Not worth it at all.

I was afraid to get tires from this Costco because of the horrible ratings. This morning we were one of the first waiting for the tire center to open. Didn t know you had to walk through the Fire Exit door and through the tires to get to their desk. Since the main Costco store is close until 10am, walk through the Fire Exit door at 8am for the tire center. Our car was done just after 9am. Awesome!

Quite possibly the worst experience a human could have with a tire shop. Make an appointment - 3 hour wait. No appointment - all day wait. Side note the website for appointments is crazy inefficient and doesn t actually work. Expect to wait in line for 45 minutes - regardless of whether or not you have an appointment. This is in addition to the ridiculous wait after u drop off your car. Please save yourself the sanity - go elsewhere - nobody cares about your customer experience here. Oh by the way the associates are crazy rude, lazy, indifferent to customers.

This place is a joke. They had to special order my tire and forgot to call me when it was in and then when they made me an appointment weeks later they forgot to call me when it was done and made me wait 2.5 hours for a tire change with an appointment. All you do is wait and they have no idea what they re doing. Don t buy your tires from here, the warranty isn t worth having to deal with these people.

After spending over $1k on tires here I have never, ever, ever been able to get this location to answer the phone. That includes today, when I urgently need to have a not-so-slow leak repaired on a car with no spare tire.Save yourself the aggravation and go to Discount Tire, or at least a Costco where the tire department is competently managed.

I will NEVER buy tires at Costco again. I like Costco but the tire center is a complete fail. Every time I've dealt with them it's a huge fiasco. Appointments mean nothing, you will sit there just as long as someone that just walked in. This time I had a flat, showed up on a temporary tire. I was told it would be 7 hours to repair the tire and they would NOT be able to install the wheel back on the car. REALLY ??? These are Costco tires with road hazard warranty. Just another time that Costco tire center fails to live up to the Costco customer service. NO MORE.

We had a late day appointment and these guys were slammed working their tails off. We went shopping and an hour and a half later my car still wasn't ready so we sat around waiting at the food court and when it was finally ready the guy incharge Sean was super sorry and you could see he was sweating so you know they were working and I've been there, plus a little $$ money back for our troubles was completely unexpected but super nice of him. Please have patients and kindness, this is not an easy job.

Prepare to stand in line for a very long time even if there are only a few people ahead of you. It's like watching the world in slow motion. What's in the water over there?Edit: it gets worse! They were happy to sell me winter tires and put them on my car, but come spring, they refuse to put the old tires back on because "they're not rated for the car". Those tires were on the car when I bought it from Tesla. They're most certainly rated for the car. And the customer service rep wouldn't even discuss it.

Ordered snow tires online and had them delivered here. Scheduled service is like a month out (Nov 2022). So I walked in 2 days after they were delivered around 11 AM, dropped the car off and ride-shared home. Got a call around 2 PM they were done. So if you don t mind hanging out at Costco all day or leaving your car for a chunk of the day, I d say it s worth it.

It's time to find another tire service center.Twice I've scheduled my tire service for 10:00am (the earliest time for an appointment) and arrived at or before 9:30am to drop off my car and was told it would be ready in 1-1.5hrs. There were already cars in all of the bays upon arrival... Both times I've taken a long walk down Wadsworth and come back after an hour to the tire service parking spaces to see that my car hasn't moved since I arrived. Staff let me know that they had some problem with the model of the car but they would have the tires changed in 30 minutes. If there was a problem why not call me?I overheard that they open early at 8 or 9 sometimes.... If you're going to have an appointment system please honor the times you'll start on a scheduled car especially if it's the first time slot offered on your appointment system.

Dillon was a nice enough guy but overall terrible customer service. I told them upfront that I had purchased the wrong tires but they said they would check it out to try and make it work. They checked my car and didn't notice the non-stock rims on the car and said the tires I purchased should work. Three hours of boredom later they had removed every tire off the car before realizing they didn't have the correct rim size even though I was upfront about this possibility. Then it somehow took them another 30 minutes to put my original tires back on so I could leave (all the while joking around as my car took up a bay that they easily could have cleared for the next customer). I'm only giving 2 stars since they comped the cost of the future install and Dillon was decent about it; otherwise this is a 1 star incompetent tire center.

Great customer service. I had a nail in my tire (tires were purchased at Costco) and was going on a road trip 2 days later. They were booked out on appointments for 2 weeks, but somehow ordered new tires under my warranty because they were not fixable and recommended doing a walk-in appt. Within 1 day and 1.5 hours later I was good to go. Great accommodations and tire stock for the area. It also helps that they are open late like the rest of the store.
