Huge shout out to Shane the location manager. He is very knowledgeable and friendly. I usually go to the Marshall Street location as I have never had any problems here. The wait times for heavy duty trucks is kind of a drag some times. I recently went to the Golden location a couple of times, and got the run around and my truck failed 3 times. I ran through this station and was on my way with a passing test. The wait is worth it. I won't take any of my trucks anywhere else.

The manger I delt with in the afternoon hours was extremely rude and hateful. I know it s normally not a great time coming to get your emissions done but this lady was trying to find any and every reason not to let my truck into the rollers when the truck has had no problem it s whole life and it s a 94 blew cigarette smoke my way as she constantly walked around my truck desperately trying to find a problem with it. I understand I showed at at 5 and they close at 5:30 but she was so rude and the only time I seen her smile was when the other employe said I need to get a new lug nut on the one that was missing. Boy was she happy then. Long story short. Showed up this morning and was in and out and the truck in fact passed and didn t have no issues on the rollers and staff this morning was awesome.

I was surprised to find out I had to get an emissions on my car. I've never had to get this done in the 4 years I've had the car. It was painless and the gentleman that finalized the sale and gave me the sticker was really nice and it was the very end of the day. I find that people aren't in a good mood before lunch. I appreciated the fact he was so kind and happy at the end of his work day .

Great experience! Wait was a little long but that was because of high volume of cars. Very professional! Would recommend!

employees were super nice, but they literally cranked my started to the point that it got fried and said they didn t know what happened, my car was perfectly fine before going there, i had to pay $250 for a new starter assembly, the employees should have better training than this .. very disappointing

It's a great day when your 39 year old 1st Gen 4Runner baby passes emissions & another 1st Gen is there at the same time for their test!

It took 90 minutes for me to get an emissions test, despite the chart showing much less busy than usual. This was my second trip - yesterday was even worse with a line of cars out of the parking area and down the street on 52nd.Employees were efficient, helpful, and friendly.Overall management show no attention to details:Signs saying cash or check ONLY are posted right next to signs showing Visa and Mastercard.A warning sign is posted advising you to stay behind the yellow line to avoid being hit by a door that opens into the waiting area. No yellow line anywhere. It is so important to keep our air clean! Maybe some time and attention is needed to assure a smoother process, and a more pleasant experience.

I came for a VIN Verification and Carbon Emissions test. I waited over an hour for my car to be seen. Before they begin I ask for a VIN Verification and Carbon Emissions test. Once my car is finally done they tell me they forgot to do the VIN Verification. Another guy tells me to pull around to the side of the building and wait 15 minutes for someone to complete the VIN Verification. I wait and wait but no one comes. I find the same guy that s checking everyone out to tell me I have to come back again tomorrow. The guy at checkout even tried to say it was my fault because I didn t remind him. I told the guy who initially took my car then went into the customer waiting area, how am I supposed to remind him to do his job from inside there? Waste of time.

I waited an hour but I did go at the time that on the website they suggest not to goMonday, End of Day, End of the Month. So I knew that going in.The signage didn't seem to make any difference and it was frustrating to see cars that came in after me get ahead and leave well ahead of me. Not sure if that day was just weird, but I was one of the last car tested that day, and my test took maybe less than 10 minutes, so that was nice but at the same time I was like why did this take so long? Wish there was signs for newer cars cause it might not take as long? I dunno wither way I would just suggest to not go on a Monday at the end of the Month.(I only have Mondays off to do things, so that's why I had to go when I did)

Great experience.... pulled right in, got tested left. Staff was super nice . Did the test on the 8th of the month on a weekday, about mid-day.It would be nice if passed emissions test results were transmitted to the DMV at least overnight so I could go to a kiosk or renew my tags online the next day.Their passed emissions letter that they give you states 3-days. However, the Denver DMV site in separate locations states 48 hours in one place and in another place on their website states 2 business days.

When you go makes a huge difference in wait time. I went on a Friday about 1 p.m. on the first week of the month. No wait.My 2014 SUV passed quickly and I was in/out in 10 minutes. The parting employee, the one who collects your payment, advised me to wait 4 hours if I was going to King Soopers for my registration renewal. I said I was going to DMV. However, DMV on Wadsworth is only open Mon thru Thursday. Oops. Wish she had mentioned that.Even so, my experiences at the Marshall St. Air/smog station have all been positive.

I was one of the last customers there on the day I went, the people who work there were very friendly and my visit didn't take very long at all.If you're curious about how long the wait time is or what the best times of day to go are, click on their website and it will tell you all of that information.

If I could give them zero stars, I would. I came here to get a VIN verification done. They charged me for it and I went about my business. When I brought the VIN verification to MV, they told me I could not use that since it is an expired form from 2018, and that these forms get updates once or twice a year. I had not noticed the date, since this is the first time I've needed an VIN verification done. I got a second one done on another vehicle (from a different place), which was fine. When I came back here to ask about it, the man (did not catch his name) immediately was talking very rude to me. He said that it changed as of the first and this 2018 form was the most recent up until then. When I stated MV said it changes once or twice a year he told me I was wrong. When I got back home, I checked the date on the second vehicle's VIN verification that was from 5/2023, so CLEARLY 2018 is not the most recent. The man told me he would not refund and if I wanted a new unexpired VIN verification, I would need to pay all over again because "they did nothing wrong." Do not recommend coming here since they didn't do the job right and were rude when asked to correct it.

Is it possible to give negative stars??? My husband took his car in this morning for an emissions test. A very aggressive technician named Shane, who's last name we do not know because he refused to provide it along with the other employees; his actions, aggression and threats were witnessed and acknowledged by multi people. After he argued with my husband about his vehicle being an AWD vehicle (IT IS NOT AWD) he proceeded to threaten him. He told him he would blow his transfer case because he was being so difficult. My husband wanted to speak to a manager, no one would direct him to the correct person to speak with and was told to get back in his vehicle. As of now, we have rough shifting in our vehicle and going to get it looked at by a certified mechanic. This facility has the most unprofessional and aggressive employees!!!

They entered the wrong lp# on my test results and refused to fix it. The manager(sean something)refused to identify himself when this problem arose. Inefficient, unprofessional, and too afraid to lose their minimum wage jobs to admit their own wrongdoing.Service: Emissions testingService: Emissions testing

Drove down after confirming they were open on Saturday to find them temporarily closed. Waste of an hour. Got to love a shop that has a monopole and a product that is gov mandated. Guessing no one here cares.

Needed to get my emissions done asap. Showed up at 1pm on a Tuesday and waited a maximum of 5 minutes to be up next. My car failed the obd test, so it had to go through a drive cycle on the rollers, but within 25 minutes, I was back on the road. It's good to go.

Who knows why some lanes went twice as fast as ours. Other locations seem faster. I Wish there were more automated drive by stations to avoid this step altogether. They seem to be a little rough on the throttle. I don t drive her that fast. Poor baby.

Tim was great. It was my first time testing an RV and getting a vin verification. He was patient and kind.

Awful customer service. They gave me an outdated form for my Vin verification. When I came back to ask if they could fill out the newly revised form they said no and told me to pay for a other outdated Vin verification. Avoid this shop if you can. Rude people and unwilling to help. The manager is no better with his attitude.

This is the most helpful location we ve been to! Preston was the person who helped us! He gave us all the information we needed to be able to get our emissions test. If anyone in management reads these reviews, please give my man Preston a raise. He is extremely friendly and willing to help! We will ONLY be coming to this location!Service: Emissions testingService: Emissions testing

The place is always busy and they take cars from one lane and cut them infront of you after waiting 30mn when the person they cut in front of you has only been there a few minutes

Shifted between 3 lines and stuck for 1.5 hours at this point. Have never seen such a poorly run Air Care. Save yourself the headache and go to another one

Failed for a gas cap a couple of weeks ago but paid. Came back today and passed but had to pay again. Asked them why and they said they told me I had ten days. I told them I wasn't told I had ten days to fix it and come back. He pointed at the small print on the receipt and says "it says so right here" so I grabbed the receipt and read it, it did NOT say I had ten days nor did anyone tell me I had ten days. Basically I paid twice, the manager said sorry and I left. F this place. Also, it took an hr btwService: Emissions testing

I took my recently purchased 1983 VW bus to get my emissions test done at this location. My mechanic, a long time vw tech, had made sure the engine was sound and ready for the emissions test. He s worked on my vehicles for years and always done a fantastic job. The emissions testing is so brutal on an old vehicle. They rev and floor the engine for extended periods of time on the track. Not something that is good for an older classic vehicle like this. I passed the emissions test. However, 5 min down the road my engine gave out. I now have a full rebuild on my hands and a $6k bill for parts and labor. I feel like this is such a poor method of testing older vehicles. Especially, needing it done every year. It s truly unfair that I now have this huge expense after I just had this vehicle inspected and worked on. All so I can pay the state and county their cut of my purchase.

Very poor costumer service. Waited 2.5 hours in line for them to say my vehicle could not test with little to no explanation, and waited an additional 2 hours in line for them to finally test it.

This is my goto spot for my yearly emissions test. Affordable, reliable and the staff is really nice! Although the wait time posted at the front seems absurd, it s actually not even close to the real time. I think I was in and out in 30 mins when the sign said it would take 40! Nice job team way to go
