Wayne is not only the most TRUSTWORTHY mechanic I ve ever been to, but also the most thorough. I desperately brought my 88 Volkswagen Van in several weeks ago, and Wayne got it in perfect order for me. He called me regularly with updates and explained everything very well. When I came to pick it up, he showed me all the pieces he took out, describing everything to me in laymen s terms, and basically went dollar by dollar to show me what I was being charged. He even shaved a few dollars off, which I would never have noticed, since the price of some part changed. That goes to show his absolutely meticulous honesty. On top of all that, he is just an incredibly kind and pleasant man.I brought my van back in a couple weeks later for a fuse problem, and since he d just worked on it, Wayne didn t even charge me this time. In fact, when I asked him what I owed him, he looked at me like I was crazy. He got me right in and had me out within an hour or two. I never mind being at Wayne s shop, even if I have to wait some time, because he s just such a GREAT conversationalist and a very positive energy to be around.Honest, thorough, and kind. Reading the reviews and recommendations from friends and family members related to the work Wayne can get done seemed great! Phone conversations had gone well in the past and seeing his work in person on a family friends classic, seemed like a no brainer.Originally scheduled to take in my car towards the end of May Wayne put it back a few weeks working on another project. No worries , waited for some time and reached out, a few more weeks . No issues, i under we all get busy, called back few weeks later , now maybe the end of June. Called back at the End of June no answer cars sat for two months now, decided to drive down to see if maybe the shop was closed. Went on two separate visits two different days and times. Shops closed, no one working but online hours say open Recommend unless you can wait for months on end , probably best to take business elsewhere

I was sitting in the walnut post office yesterday with a dead battery. Someone tried to help me with a jump, but didn t have long enough cables. I was stressing with my puppy in the car, trying to find a battery place to help. I was told I couldn t get help for 4 hours. Along came a very nice stranger who offered me a jump. His name was Wayne and he got my Toyota Sequoia running then offered to help me get a battery. He was very nice and friendly.I felt very blessed and drove to his shop where he made a call and got a battery for me and replaced it within an hour. He really saved us and he charged me less than the battery people I called who were going to make a mobile service.I enjoyed talking to him while we waited and learned that he is a very compassionate man who helps dogs and people. Wayne was honest and efficient.Thank you Wayne. I will be back.

I came in for an oil change late on a weekday and was a little wary from bad experiences at other independent auto shops.Wayne was very friendly and happy to answer all kinds of questions and talk about various projects he has going on while he was working.It was apparent that he is very experienced and knowledgeable when it comes to building and fixing cars. Great place to bring your car for repair. Wayne gave us an honest assessment and estimate of the cost to repair our car. Car broke down near his shop and was fortunate to find it nearby. Wayne was very accommodating and stayed open later to do the repair. Mine is a dodge journey SUV in 2014. The brake lights are always on, and I can't pass the smog check. I went to several repair shops, but they couldn't repair it. One day I was searching the Internet for a nearby auto repair shop and found that WAYNE's shop is only a few minutes away from my house. I asked him to repair it for me. He was very NICE and helped me to buy the ABS sensor from the dealer's warehouse. After his repair, my car is now back to normal. He asked me to do the SMOG check after another 100 miles of driving. He also told me to give me a one year warranty, which was awesome. I will come back to him next time to help me maintain and repair my vehicle.Service: Electrical repair

At 4pm on a Friday braking down on the freeway is not the place to be and where are you going to find an auto repair shop that s open that can still get your repairs done and be on the road by 7? Wayne did it! Amazing customer service and highly skilled mechanic. He did very clean work, had the problem diagnosed, and running within an hour. He truly saved me an expensive towing fee back to the high desert. Thank you Wayne for all that you do!Services: Electrical repair, Engine repair

While other shops close at 5 Wayne opens late so if something happens locally he s the one to reach
