Warning and check engine lights came on while traveling from out of state. Chris fixed the inverter and leaking water pump on my Prius in a few hours and got me back on the road. Texted photos of the bad parts as he took things apart and he explained things clearly, which was reassuring. Yes, his business is in a residential area, but he has a great set up, super knowledgeable, friendly, and very honest. Highly recommend his services.

If you're looking for an honest trustworthy knowledgeable mechanic look no further. I sent my daughter to Urban auto based on the good reviews with her older flashy sports car (kids these days, heaven forbid they drive a good ol reliable sedan). The reviews did not steer us wrong. She dealt with Chris, a very knowledgeable professional and just a very nice person. He was able to address the concerns with the misfire codes quickly and for a reasonable cost. He offered his honest opinion about the vehicle and I believe he genuinely cares about his customers. Very satisfied customers and we will definitely use Urban automotive again in the future. Thanks for being a beacon in a tough industry.

My car battery died recently and I was stuck at home...on a day when I had all kinds of errands and things to do. I called Chris and he was super helpful. He came out to my house and had the battery swapped out and me on the road in no time at all. He didn't mind all the questions that I asked, and the charge came in below what I expected. Got myself into trouble trying to replace a starter myself over the weekend. I called Chris on a Sunday and he arrived within a couple hours and had me up and running in no time. Chris is great! He had my ignition coil replaced in about 2 hours and it didn't break the bank! In fact my vehicle is at his shop right now and getting smog issues taken care of. I highly recommend!

If you live anywhere near and you need car work done, go here, no question. Had our van overheat and the radiator start going out while in the area with the family for a beach trip. Chris was able to help us out with some great over the phone advice, even after he was done for the day. It got us back on the road and made it safely to Temecula. Chris is an amazing, honest, trustworthy mechanic that knows what he is doing. I am so pleased with the service he provided and impressed that he came prepared with the 2 parts for the problem with my car even though he did not know exactly which one it was going to be. He was friendly, professional and courteous. It is difficult to find honest mechanics like Chris, that do incredible work, I will definitely be using him in the future.

I recently hit a curb and was concerned about the safety of my vehicle. Chris came to my home, assessed the damage, assured me the vehicle was safe to drive. He recommended replacing the shock absorber, which had been bent in the incident. He subsequently replaced the shock in a timely fashion. The price was very reasonable. Chris was awesome with the work he did on a 2002 Buick that had been stuck in a garage for 11 years, that I inherited. He got it up and running in a couple of days, and we drove it home to Vegas! I ve been looking for this mechanic for a while now, about a year ago I stopped by with my 2017 Ford Fusion asking about a bad wheel bearing and he helped me verify that s what the issue was but I didn t go through with the repair only because I couldn t wait for the part, but he noticed my windows weren t calibrated and he reset them free of charge on the spot. It s hard to find honest mechanics like this and he knows what he s doing!

I dont usually trust mechanics that have there own shop because I been low balled in my past and been told many lies regarding what was wrong with my car. But Chris is a different story he provided Great service, reliable, friendly, great prices and fast even on a Sunday. I had an emergency with my ONLY vehicle and Chris came through like a CAR Guardian Angel. I totally recommend his work.

I've had a Class A MotorHome since it was new and now after six and a half years; the engine battery gave out. The battery was in a really difficult place. I called Chris and he came over the very next day and swapped it out for me. He was very knowledgeable about batteries. It was also really heavy and he accomplished it quickly. Super professional with great communication in advance from the first call until arrival. I would recommend him for RV's and I would use him again.Service: Battery

Great last minute service on my auto. I was due to depart for a cross country road trip. Safety was paramount. Christopher was able to find a solution for me, although the part was not available. It was a Sunday afternoon! Friendly, HONEST, reliable service from a hard working family man. He is mobile and charges lower than dealerships and other auto shops as there is no overhead. Would definitely use again and recommend to friends.

I wish I could rate him higher since he didn t do anything incorrectly. However knowing what I know of the business I cannot recommend this mechanic. He charged me 190 for a service that didn t help me at all. He identified a part that I installed new had failed. He did bleed the clutch however the new part required me to re do the bleeding. So I paid 190$ for a diagnostic. He offered to do the job for 30$ after I installed it. I was hoping a Family man would have worked harder for customer satisfaction.Service: Engine repair

my Honda Accord was overheating and my children and I were visiting fallbrook and we had to check out that Sunday and on Saturday nightthat was when I realized I was not going to be able to drive back home I was desperate calling every mechanic possible and it was going to be Sunday which means most mechanics were going to be closed if not busy and not only did I manage to get Chris to work on my car and put in a new radiator he did it with such short notice and did such a great job that my children and I were able to check out on time and get back home safely. this is the first mechanic that has actually surprised me and did the job they were supposed to do and did it well definitely will be returning.

I had a radiator replaced and all I had to do is I called him at 7:15 am and told him I needed to be in San Diego for a kidney test and I had already missed one appointment. They were there in an hour with all the parts and replaced it within 45 min. They hauled all the old parts and packing materials. If I had taken it to a brick and mortar shop, it would have been 1 day for me to deliver my car and then rent another vehicle .and since it was a Saturday I wouldn t get my car back until late Monday. So I saved a ton of money and was on the road by 9:45.Service: General repairs & maintenance
