I have always had excellent service at TJ's. My most recent experience was no different. They got me in quickly, checked out my vehicle completely, including the specific service that I was there for, and even had a loaner vehicle available for me at no charge. Paul got back to me quickly with an estimate and an ETA on completion and my car was ready on time.The icing on the cake? My total cost for brakes, oil change and alignment was Less than another local shop charged me for just the brakes!I'm never going anywhere else!

Great shop. They know what they're doing and they're reasonably priced. Made an appointment for oil change/tire rotation, and in and out in under an hour. I used to go to Walmart where you'd wait and wait, dealing with braindead dudes who don't really care about the business, of course. Props to Paul, Todd and T.J. for the efficient running of things, as well as reasonable prices!

Trustworthy! It s questionable to me when someone writes a novel of negativity like a a couple reviews I ve seen about TJ Crossman Auto. Complete w/character assignation of community charity done for years and years by this Co. All I can say is as a single woman who has to trust someone with car repairs, I ve brought my cars here a few times with scary issues/symptoms and drove off with a sound running car again! At a very fair cost. Trustworthy is what TJ Crossman Auto has proven to be for me. Hands down.

TJ Crossman's Auto Repair is always a great experience. Friendly staff who will be upfront and honest. Taking my vehicles to "the shop" is no longer a dreaded chore as it is a chance to check in with friends, all while being confident you are being treated fairly. I recommend TJ Crossman's to everyone!

I have been here several times, and have always had excellent service and they ve always taken care of what needs to be done with my car. I made them my auto repair mechanics a couple of years ago and will keep them indefinitely.

I've lived in Oceanside for over 30 years and my experience with TJ Grossman Auto Repair was nothing short of fantastic from the time I made my appointment to completion of work on my car. I can find many accolades in recommending this business such as: Awesome Service, Reasonable pricing, Meticulous shop appearance, Professional mechanics and super Friendly staff. My only recommendation is having a food court or coffee stand nearby; I survived with fresh brew coffee!Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Tires

Highly recommend this reasonably priced auto repair shop. Been exclusively using them for over 10 years. Be sure to speak thoroughly with the shop's manager/advisor when troubleshooting a problem, and stand fast on (unnecessary) maintenace and suggested add-ons.This shop understands that.A big PERK: They have a free loaner car if your vehicle spends the night there.

Shop was closest so I had my car towed there..... Huge mistake! I was quoted nearly 2000 without parts to remove and replace a bent rear trailing arm. Car being worked on was a 97 bmw 318ti so same as z3 or e30 rear suspension very simple. The official book says 4-5 hours for both sides and I needed just one done, provided arm attached to hub, rotor, caliper etc so it was literally plug and play, bleed brakes and align vehicle. After being charged $2k for a job where they didn't align vehicle, didn't call and ask if I wanted my old parts instead just junked them ($600 value) I've never felt so taken advantage of. You're better off rolling the dice on a stranger with mismatched harbor freight tools on craigslist. These guys failed to make it right. This is the first negative review I've ever written. If you go here, be careful these guys don't play by the rules.

I took the trailer our High School Band Booster organization uses to support our music program to TJ Crossman's, for inspection as it was a donated trailer. There were several issues I was concerned with, as we are not the original owner. There was a laundry list of items which needed addressed such as Electric Brakes, Tires, Bearings, Fender, Lighting, Break Away Box, etc. I brought the trailer in and received estimated time for pick based on a schedule I had provided. I will say that their location is not the most open and getting a large trailer in there is not easy. They let me park a bit far away and used their equipment to maneuver the trailer where they needed, so no hassle. Fast forward a week, and we needed the trailer for event sooner than we had anticipated and I called to see if it was possible to get the trailer back a week sooner than requested. Henry the manager, said they would do what they could. I get a call that the trailer was ready in time for our revised schedule. One item had not been repaired, but it was not major and Henry immediately started making plans to get that taken care of. Things happen, and no matter how much we plan, no matter how much we promise, life gets in they way. It was not a matter of the changes and the issues, it was how Henry handled the situation. If you are flexible and understanding, they will bend over backwards to get you taken care of. Thank you Henry.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Electrical, Brakes, Vehicle safety inspection

I live out in Escondido and I choose to drive to Vista for TJ Crossman's Auto Repair. The reason is because of TJ and his staff. They have great customer service and welcome you like family. If repairs are going to take a while they do offer courtesy vehicles if available. They do honest work and will quote you an honest price. This is my go-to auto shop if I ever need anything done!Being a woman going to a mechanic is always nerve-racking but everyone here was so professional and nice.They re super upfront and transparent about their pricing which is very refreshing, but the best part has to be the online folder they send you that details your car s current health and what you need to keep an eye on!I can t rave about this place enough.

Super friendly. When we were in the area about to buy a car, we called and Bob was more than happy to check out our potential buy.When we arrived, we were greeted with so much professionalism and customer friendly service. He looked over the car for us and made sure there weren t any major issues. I was so happy to have found this place! They will always be in book for honest mechanic shop. TJ s auto repair shop was able to do all of my car repairs in just a couple of hours. Overall, my experience with their customer service was excellent and the quality of their service was top notch. If you re in the San Diego county I highly recommend this shop over any other. My car was in and out all in the same day.

1st time taking my car here on a recommendation by a friend of mine. Took my 2006 scion tc here to get an O2 sensor replaced as it was tripping the CEL. Told Paul who took my car in, being that I work remote and barely drive the car it has 130k miles on it and hasn't had its 120k tuneup. At that point I would be expecting more than the charge to fix the O2 sensor. Got the call back and surprising everything looked good. Paul said why replace when it's not needed. Only thing he recommended were the air and cabin air filters and spark plugs. I will def come back next month to do those. Awesome customer service.

Excellent service! Honest and fair, in all aspects! We have been going to TJ for our vehicle maintenance and repairs for years and we are so happy with the level of care he and his staff give to us and our vehicles. Whether it s a complex problem or simple repair, we trust TJ. He has gone above and beyond more than once. From picking us up road side to changing out a tire at a moments notice, when we had to leave on a trip. You name it and TJ will find a way to help. So grateful to have a mechanic and staff that we can trust to care for our cars. Even more blessed to call him a friend. Would highly recommend TJ Crossman s Auto repair to anyone who asks!!

Had great service. The people working there were very professional and polite and kind. I would recommend them to anyone who ask me for a great place to take there car. TJ was so kind to even offer me some of his roast beef. Know where can you get service like that. Will be using them again. I came to this shop to get my brakes checked, after a few hours they called to tell me what was wrong with them. Being completely inexperienced with car issues I had some miss communication, however I brought it up to the manager's attention and he was extremely professional and explained everything in detail to me. I was able to get a Free car rental from them while they serviced my car, which made it easier for me to get to work. Compared to other car shops they had very reasonable prices and were very thorough with what I needed and not pushy at all. They fixed my brakes and now my car runs great. Highly recommend this shop especially if you want an honest option on your car.

I chose TJ Crossman's because of all the great reviews. They lived up to them. They replaced my clutch, starter and rear brakes after doing a full inspection. I believe TJ inspires his team to be the best and take pride in their work. TJ not only has a great shop and team behind him, he is also involved in the community whether through teen outreach or his work with the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum in Vista. I happy to suuport a local small business that gives so much back to the community. Wifes truck is next to go TJ's. It needs a little attention.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Brake service & repair

I've been here several times for various services on two of our cars. TJ and all the technicians are always professional, friendly, and never make you feel rushed. We've opened the door for them to recommend services (we might need brakes, etc...) but they've always been honest and never tried to upsell anything. Prices are great, work is great, this is a family place you can trust.

This place cares about doing a great job. They look for ways to make your service experience better. They set the bar high and somehow they just keep doing more. 1st time I stopped in to get my old PT Cruiser repaired, they loaned me one of their own cars until the repair was completed! This time they had someone actually waiting for me when I arrived, to shuttle me to Hertz for a day loaner costing pocket change. They always keep you informed and their prices are the best that I have found in town, bar none. They know what they are doing and they always look for ways to save me cash. I recommend TJ and the crew to all my friends, without reservation.

I ve been using TJ Crossman for 4 years and have always felt they do a good job and they re honest. They just got a new internet photo-sharing service where you can see your car parts and inspection info in pictures and with detailed recommendations in real-time to make the best decision for your auto repairs and maintenance. The service TJ, Bob, and Team gave to me was excellent. My appointment was on time, the waiting area was refreshing, and I felt that my Rav4 got the attention she needed to keep going for another 100,000 or so. For 25 years when I was in La Mesa I had a mechanic that could listen to my Mercedes purr and hear what needed to be done. He never gouged me and never left the tops of the battery like a big dealership did. TJ Crossman's Auto Repair gives that same service where they are there for you as a customer not just another number to be checked in. Great service with a smile. Thank You All for Your Kindness.

Everyone here was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. They diagnosed and fixed my brakes, pads, and rotors the same day for a fair price. I was so thankful for the short notice repairs. TJ, Tyler, Henry and literally everyone were so welcoming and accommodating. I would come here for anything I need. Thank you to TJ, Bob and Jose for getting my car quickly repaired and back on the road. I'm a auto technician myself and unfortunately I didn't have the time or place to do the replacement of the water pump on my Ford Flex because it's driven by the timing chain and not a quick fix and after calling around TJ Crossman's had the best quote. They are also very personable and honest about their repair work. The car was finished earlier then I expected and done with the highest quality. I would highly recommend giving them a shout before going anywhere else.

The owner is a very kind hearted man that really cares about his community.. TJ is an awesome guy!! Was towed to. TJ Crossmans auto repair tonight. I got a flat tire. All the guys at shop are so kind. I even got a ride home . good people and good service!

TJ Crossman runs a great shop and has a great team of techs. They are fast and efficient and did an excellent job. Mr Crossman goes the extra mile to assure a great experience. When the rental car company did me wrong TJ gave me the shop car to borrow. He even followed up to see how the car was running a few weeks later.
