Brought my 06 VW Beetle Convertible into European MotorSports this morning. I had a check engine light that had come on. Cameron took the time to come out and to plug in the scanner. To my relief, the problem was a leak in the gas cap. Cameron was as attentive to my car and situation as he would have been with an expensive Porsche or Mercedes. I can see why European MotorSports and Cameron get such stellar Yelp reviews. This will be my go to place for any future service.

Cameron and team are truly European vehicle experts. I have been taking my German cars there for years. It s great to be able say I hear or feel this, and they can tell me what it is, is it a problem, how to fix it? I asked about putting a new IMS in my Porsche and Cameron did not try to sell me on it, but gave me the info so that I could make an informed decision. Thanks guys. It s great to be able to trust my mechanic.

Cameron and his team give me top notch service! He's the only mechanic I've used since I've had my car and even if I call and say this happened, he always says bring it in and I'll check it out right away. At least twice he did check things out and didn't charge me a dime to see what the issue was. He's fair and honest, so he'll continue to get my business for my foreign gas guzzler!

Brought my Mercedes ML-350 after noticing the oil drops in my garage have steadily grown over several weeks. I tried to get some closer garages to take a look, but either they were already running two weeks behind on appointments or they expressed doubt as to their ability to work on a Mercedes engine. One auto shop did recommend going to European Motorsports and I was able to call and secure an appointment much sooner.They were able to determine that I needed to reseal the upper timing covers and clean up the significant crud that had accumulated around the engine as well as replace the camshaft adjuster magnets.It took a few days, over a weekend in fact, to do the work, clean, dry and test drive the car. While the covers were all off, Cameron (the owner) also recommended replacing the air filter and replacing the oil as well. All of the work, parts & labor came to $1381.I cannot echo as to what others have said regarding having work done at the dealer which would cost much more as I have never taken my car to the dealer off its extended warranty. I'm sure their mechanics are no better than those at European Motorsports and honestly I trust the reviews here on Yelp.Cameron also mentioned that these repairs and the oil change itself would be reported to CarFax and that the other garages that have done work on my car did not report to CarFax...which was a surprise to me. I'm glad he called that out as I would not have known otherwise.This work was from last year, but I'm happy to report we have not had any issues since.

Cameron & his team are awesome! My car needed a number of services, including brake fluid flush, oil sensor change, and oil & filter change. Reasonable prices. I d had an oil leak under watch with a prior mechanic and Cameron recommended the same, no upsell. Everything was completed the same day. Shop is very clean, everyone looks professional. I was referred by a friend and felt very confident in the repairs, would now highly recommend myself! :)Services: Air & cabin filter replacement, Oil change

I had an issue with an airbag light after unplugging the seat so I took it to the Mercedes dealership. They said it would be $250 to reprogram the system. I called European Motorsports and they got it done for me within five minutes and didn t even charge me! I feel very confident this place is honest and trustworthy. I ll be back for my future repairs and maintenance.Service: Electrical repair

I have gone to Cameron for years. First to repair and maintain my vintage 190E-16, then my 1991 M5 and most recently my 2009 AMG c63. He is brilliant. He knows these cars. He and his staff of amazing mechanics recently rebuilt the c63 engine top and bottom and it has run flawlessly as a daily driver ever since. It is not an easy engine to rebuild but I would not have taken it anywhere else. He is meticulous and informative. If you go to any other shop, you are making a mistake.

Honest, efficient, and no nonsense. Superb local business. They saved me $500+ on a rear main seal job this spring, as compared to the Audi dealership in Carlsbad. When a mysterious noise started coming from my engine on the way home from work recently, I called European and they told me to come right over-- before I even parked, they knew what the problem was and told me the dealer would fix it for free under the extended warranty. Had to bring my M/B back for a new battery. They completed major front suspension repairs last year. They did a fantastic job. Promptly repaired it with very reasonable prices. Another perfect job with the battery. Finally met the owner "Joe ". After speaking with him you understand why they are so honest and dependable.

I took my 2002 Audi TT in for service. This was my first visit. They went above and beyond to find parts that were no longer made at no additional fee. VERY knowledgeable on all German cars and honest, you won t get ripped off! Cameron clearly explains what he s going do and all of your options. He s been in the business a long time and, after only one trip there, it was very obvious to me that he puts customer satisfaction at the top of the list. I will definitely return AND recommend him to anyone who asks.

I first went to European Motorsports when service manager Cameron began working there. The shop is off the main drag, and a little challenging to find. Once there, the search will be worth it.Cameron is very knowledgeable about German autos. He can often diagnose problems when you arrive. He has saved us time and money by telling us what we didn't need, and focused on the problem at hand. He has become our go-to guy when our BMW needs attention.The shop is clean, the mechanics are quick and efficient, and the prices are reasonable.

Joe and Cameron are the Best of The Best! Wouldn't trust anyone else with my Porsches.They are the first I go to for advice when I investigate buying porsches. Are always on target with repairs; excellent in describing exactly what needs to be done and then explaining what they found. Joe has been tenacious in finding root causes of electrical issues. My "Go-To-Porsche-Experts", they have been wonderful partners in my car care, for over 9 years. Trustworthy, highest quality and just wonderful people to know. I simply could not be happier with European MotorSports. Cameron makes you feel very comfortable immediately with his extreme knowledge of all things German. The attention to detail is very appreciated. I will be going back to have some necessary maintenance done in my engine bay and I am very comfortable leaving my baby with these guys. I'm certain that all work will be done with the same quality and care as if they were working on their own cars. I have been bringing my Mercedes to European Motorsports for at least 10 years! Cameron is trustworthy, friendly and professional! The mechanics are very through when inspecting my car and I have never been stranded because they overlooked something. I will continue to buy German cars because I have found a shop for life! I recommend European Motorsports to anyone with a German car!

The only good experience I have had when dealing with the Porsche. They will let you know what needs to be done now, what can wait and understands they level you want to take the car. A daily driver does not have the same needs as a show car. The work is done right the first time and prices are fair. This is not often the case at other shops. So glad there were recommended.

Had an appointment to have my Mini Cooper looked at . Service manager diagnosed car corrected service light, which was a reminder for oil change that I had done at another shop and I was unaware that they did not reset it. Spent time with me going over my car and what to look for. Did not reccomend or try and sell any other service as the only issue he found was the service light which he corrected. Did not charge me anything .definitely would reccomend them and will be using them when needed for their utmost integrity and professionalism

We needed something very minor with our Cayman Porsche and didnt know of a reputable place to take it. We called a few places but Euro Motorsports took the most time to inform and educate us on what could be needed. Cameron also mentioned that if this or that is good then we would not need to do this or that... not trying to up-sell business. We have taken our car there many times and will never go to another place for our car repairs. Thanks guys!!!

I can't say enough wonderful things about all the guys at European Motorsports. I have taking my diesel Jettawagen here since I moved to the area. Everyone is so professional and pricing is fair. Cameron always takes time to explain what needs to be done. I always know my car is in good hands here.

Incredible service at a reasonable price!I've been driving for over thirty years and been to many repair shops along the way and never have I been as satisfied as I am with European Motorsports. Honest people with a great service manager and mechanic.I usually don't care for service managers because they tend to oversell and not really know what they are talking about; European's Cameron Clayton definitely does not fit that mold. I had a big job that involved an engine and tranny drop on a new to me dream Porsche 964. I bought the car near Vista but live in NorCal and wanted the work done before I drove it home. European was recommended by the seller so I rolled the dice hoping for the best. Wow what a pleasant surprise- Cameron and I discussed the repairs which even involved powder coating out side their shop, special oils, welding...worked up an estimate and started the job. Now comes the good part- first I know 964s really well and what's involved with the requested repairs- when talking to Cameron I was surprised and impressed that he actually knew in great depth what was involved with the various repairs- that's exceptional (he has a 993 that he apparently has worked on). Second, this being a special and brand new car for me I was extremely interested in every step and would probably be considered a high maintenance customer. Cameron was a star in communicating with me- I requested and received pictures of the process almost daily. He was always responsive to my inquiry emails... I also talked with the mechanic, Phil, about his progress and thoughts about the condition of the car. How often can one actually talk to the mechanic on the phone?When all the work was completed the price was the same as the estimate (no surprises) and was way more reasonable than the shop rates up here in NorCal, I was also impressed with their rate for parts- not a huge mark up like I've seen in other places. It has been several months now since Phil did the work and I'm pleased to say that everything he repaired is really repaired/fixed. I've had no issues with the work done.I know this is a glowing review but my experience with European was so positive it warrants it. My only compliant is that they are not up here in NorCal.Thanks European!

I met Cameron (service manager) this past Tuesday to get a quote on my Porsche 2003 catalytic converter. He not only gave me a competitive quote but provided me less effective cost cutting solution. He suggested that I have Porsche San Diego upgrade the software to clear the check engine light. This is Cameron doing research that he did not have to do to serve me! That information saved me $5800!!!!
