We recently found this wonderful center for all of our automotive needs. You will not be able to do better. They are friendly and professional, and we will continue to take our cars to them and we highly recommend them to everyone

Do Not Recommend!!!!There is a big lack of communication as well as conflicting information from the owner, as I was charged $185 for diagnosis although they did the work. The receipt reads $292.50 labor charges for 1 spark plug/coil, all work and diagnosis completed in less than one hour.Joe will tell you this diagnosis cost is customary, you are helping to pay for his $16k diagnostic machine, as well as the cost of employees. None of this revealed up front.Replacing (4) plugs/coils estimated at $959. I revealed I did not have the funds and was only able to pay for one. The new cost for one was never revealed, subsequently costing $482.In the end. big lesson learned, hoping you find a mechanic in Oxnard who is up front and honest.

There is not enough space here, and I don't have the words to adequately express my gratitude for this shop and the people who own and run it! I was on a 1500 mile trip down from Washington state to get a high top installed on my van. I broke down 80 miles from my destination! The folk's at Bill Clark went FAR BEYOND what I could have even hoped for to get me back on the road again! In my nearly 60 years of life, I have NEVER encountered a service shop with nicer people nor higher levels of integrity!!! Thank you so very much for everything you did for me!

I brought my 2015 Ford Explorer in for a variety of services I knew it needed An appointment was necessary and after a few hours they contacted me with a thorough list of what was needed and in order of priority (including cost for each) they were so professional and nice! We had them do it all, they said they d get right on it but needed until the next morning and sure enough they called a little before 11am that my car was ready! Wow! Most experiences I ve had in the past, the mechanics ALWAYS have my car way longer than expected so this was fantastic! The cost was fair and was actually less than the original quote. I really appreciate the service I received from start to finish. Their communication and knowledge truly reflects an high level of professionalism and integrity and I highly recommend bringing your car here!Services: Transmission, Air & cabin filter replacement, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine tuning

My brakes in the front and back of my car were really bad. Called everywhere for quotes and Bill Clark s had the best pricing! They were able to take my car in that same morning. Everyone working there is very friendly and honest about what needs to be done! Told them I replaced my intake hose myself and asked if they could see if I did it correctly. They checked it out for me and fixed the small mistakes I made. Brought my car back a week later to get my AC fixed, since it s been broken for years. Joe helped me and explained everything that they were going to do. They honestly have the best pricing in town! They tell you a price and they stick to it! No surprise up-charges at checkout like some shops do. Definitely will be going back. Bill Clark automobile is excellent. I ve had multiple issues with multiple vehicles lately and I asked my neighbor to recommend an honest mechanic. Unbelievable service and honesty and integrity. I would highly recommend them. Joe, Alex and the whole crew is awesome. I love Joe, and the entire crew! My entire family and I have been using them for years and I can honestly say they are all the best. Joe is always incredibly honest about what is needed, and also honest about things that are not needed (including time frame and necessity). I never feel like I'm being "taken for a ride" as I have often have felt with other mechanic shops. Joe is very knowledgeable and the entire staff is incredibly friendly and hardworking. I can't say enough positive things about this business. I've been going to them for so long and they have always made me feel so at home and incredibly well cared for. Bill Clark Joe & daughter family mechanic shop are the best their is inTown especially the 2 younger mechanic machinery worker they have very smart and respectful.But you have to call and make an appointment their that good .

Went in for a bag vibration during braking. Joe and his team diagnosed and fixed the issue in 2 hours for about 400 less than I was expecting to pay. The car now brakes smooth as butter. I've been looking for a shop that I can call home for all my repairs. Think I found it. Joe is amazingSuper friendly and explained everything as they went and having been a mechanic in a previous life but can't do my own work due to medical issues, what he explained was spot on. Dealership told me my timing and valve cover gasket needed to be replaced and it was going to cost me an arm and a leg when in reality nothing major needed to be replaced, and Joe informed me of what really needed to be replaced and was very kind and patient when it came to explaining it to me. Great service, great staff. This shop was recommended by a colleague and it was a great recommendation, zero complaints. They also have the most beautiful and loving shop guard dog, cute little Roxanne. She is adorable and just loves the customers.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Joe was very welcoming, even though I was a little late for my appointment. I explained the issue my wife s van was having. He eventually called me to tell me the diagnosis and how much it would cost. I thought it would be a whole lot more. They then came across more issues and once again he called to give me an update and new estimate. This being our main family vehicle, it needed to be fixed. When we picked up our car my wife couldn t be happier. She said it drove like a new car. Thank you guys for the quick work and for a decently priced fix. I would definitely bring anyone of my vehicles back! This was my first time there and he came highly recommended. I can see why now. My boyfriend Scott took his 1999 Chevy 2500 into the shop for a misfire issue. The guys at the shop were straight up and honest with everything. They took time needed and he didn't feel rushed in and out the door at all. They fixed it up and the truck is happily running down the road again. THANK YOU!! I was recommended to Joe at Bill Clark Automotive and had my best experience ever in dealing with a mechanic! Joe was honest, helpful, and very fair. He even helped fix part of my car that another mechanic had messed up on, for no charge. I feel good about trusting him with my car and would recommend him to anyone looking for a professional and honest person to service their vehicle. :)

We are pleased with BCA. They keep are cars running smoothly. About, the recent visit, we needed to get the oil changed. We will drop off the key. It is recommended at least once a year, right?

As usual, Joe and crew were awesome. Regular oil change/service for my vehicle with safety inspection showed I will need new brakes. Like he always does, Joe explained how much brake % I have left and advised that I can safely wait to get new brakes at the next service. Should be called "Honest Abe Automotive". Came in from out of town to look at a vehicle. Joe was able to squeeze me in on short notice to do a PPI. He is friendly, honest, and pricing is extremely reasonable. He also looked at pricing on similar vehicles while Alex was doing the inspection and let me know what comparable cars are priced at. Highly recommend this shop, and if I lived in Ventura, these guys would be my go to mechanics.Services: Vehicle Inspection, Vehicle safety inspection

Absolutely the BEST!!! My dad and son have trusted them with their vehicles and recommend I take my new (well, new to me used Tacoma) in for a check. Joe set an appointment, was on time, and even changed a broken back up light for free!! Very friendly staff and clean shop. I will take all my vehicles to them from now on, and I highly recommend that you do too! Honest, friendly, clean, and knowledgeable - what more can you ask for?

My family has been going to Bill Clark's Autimotive since before I even knew how to drive. My mother has used him since 2004 and I've used his services since 2006.Joe is trustworthy, honest and will never sell you on a fix or adjustment unless it is time for a repair or the part needs servicing. Same goes with fluids, electrical work, or any other reason. He has had a couple mechanics over the years who help him keep his business going. But it's normally him and one other person at a time, so it feels cozy and you get to build a relationship with them.They work on most cars, trucks and SUVs. I'm not too sure if they work with high end imports or old classics very often, but I bet they could make it happen. I've continued to take my SUV to Joe and his crew for many years. Never a disappointment Top notch service in all categories. My recent visit involved two different repairs plus oil service.
