This is the best mechanic in all of Ventura. The technical service & the customer service are superior to any other shop. They are honest & forth right in communicating diagnosed fixes/pricing. No tricks. Eugene & his parents are very nice people with good values. They accommodate their customers whenever possible.

I recently moved to the area and was in need of a mechanic. Eugene from Ace did an amazing job tuning up my car and was quick to answer my questions. Highly recommend. Competitive prices, excellent services. We will be taking our other vehicle there to get services done soon, thanks again Eugene.

Eugene and his crew are amazing! He worked with my insurance AAA to get a replacement catalytic converter for my 2010 Prius. Special circumstances working with this car and my insurance due to there being an indefinite backorder on the Toyota side. We found a California smog safe part that was not Toyota brand but Magnaflow and it was shipped and done within a few weeks! Eugene discussed every step with me and explained everything with honesty and integrity. I will be going back to him !!!

We took our van in to get the air conditioner fixed. After $1,100 they said it was fixed. We noticed right away that it wasn't. We took it back in thinking they would guarantee their work but they told us that it would require another $550. They had replaced the incorrect part the first time and tried to get more money from us, instead of doing the right thing and standing by their work. $1,100 all for nothing!

I found this place just by accident. And I am glad I did. Eugene is great. His knowledge is unmatched. I trust him to care for any car, van or truck. Once, I had a bad steering/brake pump. Absolutely the best experience I have ever had dealing with any one in the automotive industry. They did exactly what they said they would. They were super fast and nice. I will definitely take my care back there when I need service or a smog again. I searched on Yelp for a quick smog and read the reviews, I usually have my husband do this and hadn't realized we were running out of time and had to do this my self, I didn't want to go to just anybody or the ones who had the bad and mean reviews. Ace Auto had excellent reviews for repairs and smog so I called the day before and they said they would have me out quick and I pulled right in today and sure enough, I was out in less than 5 minutes, I had barely sat down. I will be a customer for life and will bring my cars back for service when they need repairs as well. I highly recommend them. You can just tell, they are full of integrity.

Consistent, exceptional service guarantee that Eugene is the mechanic for me. I trust him (and his advice) with my car and so my life. I am grateful I found this shop. As long as they're in business, I will never need to find another one.

This is literally the best smog shop you can go to in the area. when several smog shops wouldn't even attempt to smog my car because it has the stigma of being a Subaru Ace Auto repair and Smog came through. Eugene there was very knowledgeable and knew right away that there were no issues with my vehicle. I will be recommending this shop to all my friends and all of my family. I will only do business with this shop in this county from here on out. Thank you again so much Ace family.

Eugene and Kevin always put the customer first. They go above and beyond to help out. They are fair and honest. They do not overcharge.i had a smog and forgot my registration. Eugene still got me out the door in less than 20 minutes.

Eugene is profesional and helpful towards any inquiries one may have. I took my car for smog, and will be coming back to get my oil change and other regular maintenance. Great to know he is an honest mechanic.

Eugene told me to bring car in on Thursday. I offered to bring it on Wednesday so he would have it first thing Thursday morning. I brought the car on Wednesday morning thinking it would be ready by Friday. Eugene called me later in the same day and told me it was ready. AMAZING!!!!!!!! I will NOT take my car or truck anywhere else. ACE AUTO 5 STARS!!!!!!

We originally came here for a smog based on other reviews and now I have found an honest and reliable shop for my Subaru Outback that has been having some problems as it is almost 10 years old. You should definitely see Eugene and his father before going anywhere else!

The folks at Ace know how to take care of you. Honest and hard working, both my cars have been well cared for there. I choose my mechanic based on trust and quality, not price. Ace meets these and still charges a very fair rate. Give them a chance with your car.

Having an older vehicle and many issues, Ace Auto has helped mitigate the costs to keep my vehicle alive. Being stuck in arrears Ace Auto has provided top-notch services with fair prices and reasonable work. Never doing more work than needed, unless you have the funds and desire to, of course. Ace Auto has helped extend the life of my vehicle and kept it legal. Great service with a smile. Family owned and operated emanating peace, love and good vibes. These guys have competitive prices with grade A workmanship. Bought a car with a bad catalytic converter and they were able to fix that and other issues. They took there time and looked over the whole car for me. It's been over a year now and the car still driving strong. I highly recommend these guys.Thanks for fixing the prelude

They have the best customer service ever. They are very honest and they worked really fast. I always come here to get oil changes or if I have any problems I know I can always go there and get an honest responce. There prices are fair. I do always recomend people to come and get there Smog done and there oil changes.

FIVE STARS!!! In & out in under 10 minutes for a smog. Literally, less then 10 minutes and I was done!!!! THIS is my new spot for auto repairs, smog, referring a shop, whatever. Loved these guys !!!!!!!!!!!
