The manager at the susanville les schwab has no people skills at all. I have been going there since it opened up. He have no respect for loyal customers. They are only wanting the bonus money. I will never shop there again. I always new they were overpriced but I paid it for the extra perks. They now charge for the extra perks. Do yourself a favor and go to tireplus and save money. They have stores everywhere too. Even walmart tire center is looking inviting to me now. Maybe if they have a management staff change I would consider going back and change some of the perk rules. But mostly change the management attitude rules.

The ladies at the desk were amazing. They took such good care of me! The technician was awesome, too. I thought I needed a lot of work on my car, but once he checked it out thoroughly, he only found ONE thing that needed fixing. Honesty is very hard to find in the auto care business, and I was beyond pleased with this business in that regard. I went in expecting to pay an arm and a leg but ended up only paying a wrist's worth! I feel good knowing my car is safe for my daughter to drive and my grandkids to ride in. Especially with winter on its way, which is treacherous here! Thanks, Les Schwab staff! I'll be back!

Had tires serviced and oil changed at Susanville location. On the way home the car and steering wheel shake violently. They did not Balance the tires after removing and placing them back on. Was left to drive a unsafe car home due to poor ability to follow common procedures.I will not return to this service center, other reviews mention the same problems. For a 1.5 hr appt they had 2 hrs 45 mins to work on it and skipped the balancing. Car drove smooth and never shook before taking it in for service at Susanvile location. I am now left to drive to a different location to fix their mistakes.

RV friendly !!! We had a mishap with chains on our tires and were in serious need of new tires. We made the call when we were about an hour away and they held a set for us. We rolled in and sat in the lobby with our two dogs while Betty got some new shoes. While we were waiting an employee took the time to find us the best and safest way to our destination. She checked out road closures and which way would require chains. Customer service was excellent

Unfortunately I have a not so good review I paid to have an alignment done on my pickup and they performed an alignment on it and almost had it dead on the first time but it had a small pull to the left while backing up and was just a little off so the young gal told me if I had any issues just to let them know (she was super sweet and kind) so I did just needed a little something done so it would back up properly. So I made an appointment again brought it back in to be fixed and rt away a young gentleman started jacking it up while I was talking to another employee then I watched the jack slip out from under it and said woah now then the guy I was talking to went to assist with the jack. Mentioned to them I would be back to pick it up when it was done and shrugged off the jack thing but upon arrival I went to get into my truck to find that somehow ignition was still on and key was inside also my passenger window was down and battery was completely dead truck unlocked so anyone could have entered my vehicle. Had to get them to give me a jump so I could leave and as I left I couldn't turn my truck to the left all the way forward or in reverse pulled over in the parking lot by dollar tree and shined a flashlight onto the upper control arm adjustment brackets to find that it had been pryde on hard enough that one of the camber pins were ripped out! Since it was late couldnt take it back to see if they could do anything so called them and explained what was going on so again I brought it back but this time when I returned to try the third time I didn't feel comfortable dealing with them being that this was literally the fifth time the two first attempts i was told I needed parts and they quoted me approx 1200$ but me being a mechanic i just replaced everything myself for 120$. But wow today I spoke with a guy named Mitch and I couldn't get even a word out I was wrong he was right and he's been doing this for years and all the alignment pins are in place and my truck can't be aligned properly because it has a small lift and that the pin being pulled out wasn't their problem. But for one I always see how much adjustments are moved after every alignment because I mark them before they get touched so that if I need I can reverse what an alignment tech has done if it's off. Also if you can't align my vehicle why can't I get a simple refund without being talked down to? He also told me les Schwab won't do business with me anymore if he refunds me? I did nothing wrong by not feeling comfortable with the work being performed after finding damage and driving home with a dangerous vehicle what's crazy is the first time they had it almost spot on then now it's undrivable I will have to just put my adjustments back to were I had them before I took it to them then do my own alignment so sad they couldn't make it right by just being kind! Everyone else at the branch was kind but Mitch I want you to know that I was just a paying customer that needed my truck simply aligned but after the adjustment pins get broke then you can't properly align a vehicle and that was my concern! Mitch even when I asked you to be kind to me buddy you continued to over talk me and tell me I was wrong and show just how rude a young manager can be! All the other young techs in this branch are working hard and respectful as well as the ladies inside at the counter you guys all are doing great! But all it takes is one person in charge to turn customers away and ruin a business atmosphere! Upon further inspection I found that they also pryde on my inner tierod that just installed two weeks ago and ripped the boot covering the knuckle! Who the heck prys on steering components such as an inner tierod to get an alignment done holy smokes how unprofessional!

We had a nail in our tire. We pulled in and were next in line. Fixed the tire in about half an hour and we were back on the road. And it was FREE because we were there before 3pm. Highly recommend fast and friendly

We bought 2 front wheel tires for our RV and after driving away, heading home our steering wheel was shaking like crazy once we hit 50 MPH. We knew they weren't balanced correctly and headed back to the shop. The same guy took off the tires and went to balance them and my husband watched and saw they were still unbalanced on the machine as he took them off to put back on our RV. My husband stopped him and had to ask someone else who was there to help balance them because they weren't getting done the right way. He found someone who finally did it right and after another hour, we were finally able to drive home. Thank you Todd,(I think that's your name) for letting us know we could switch out the all terrain to all season tires on our RV, it makes driving a lot quieter inside.

Came in with a flat tire and these lovely gents (and ladies) patched my tire free of charge! There was a small nail apparently causing the issue and now my car is running like charm once again. Thanks to their team!! They'll get you taken care of promptly!

Cannot begin to say enough good comments about this business. Rolled in on a Sunday evening with a shredded tire on my motorhome. Before I could even get to the office at 8 am, staff were out at my rig assessing the tire. I walked into the office and Scott, the manager, was already on the phone calling around to find a replacement. He spent a while on the phone and came to tell me the only one he could find was in Carson City Nevada, 2 hours away. Scott left immediately to go get the tire. When he returned, the guys were immediately all over putting the new tire on. When I went to pay, they only charged me for the tire. Scott was absolutely amazing! Sent my aunt and I on the road with wishes for a safe trip home! Best experience ever!

Rave Review. A+, 10 of 10, five stars, double thumbs up!!! I wish I had gotten the name of the exact person who helped me but I did not. Shout out and a big thank you to Les Schwab. I pulled in to get help with the tire that was losing air. I had already been to two "other" service stations on other occasions and been told there was no problem. This person today Les Schwab right at closing took extra time to find the problem which was a nail he repaired it within 15 minutes I was back on the road. they did not even charge me for this service he would not even accept a tip. His comment when I tried to tip was "it is against Les Schwabs policy for us to accept tips Les Schwab takes good care of its employees so we can take good care of you." My response was "All my future business will definitely be done with you guys. Thanks a Bunch!" Left smiling.

They did a great job on rotating and rebalancing my tires. As always they were very friendly and courteous as well as efficient. I have been a costumer of Les Schwab for over 30 years and they have never let me down yet. Highly recommend.

Had a slow leak in one tire. Let it their hands and came back in about 2hrs. Repair was done and then found that it was complimentary! I've been in Susanville less than a year and this was my first auto repair of any kind... very pleasant experience. Thank you Les Schwab.

The staff is so friendly no matter how busy. We had a defective tire, they had no more in stock, but they did find comparable and hook us up with that one. Always understanding about the economy if things happen and so very very pleasant

I am very impressed with the people that work at Les Schwab. The gave me a heads up about a safety issue with my truck. In short they put safety ahead of making a sale. It will not be forgotten. Was able to get the parts on the truck.

They must have changed drastically over the past few years, because my girlfriend just wanted a piece of mind tire check, & they had her almost too scared to drive it home,because they told her the brakes were in horrible shape, & could go out at any time. Said they'd replace em for $700. She almost agreed, but thankfully decided to limp it home for me to see. There was nothing wrong. I could barely distinguish the old from the new shoes. & nothing else was amiss.New management? I hope so, & I hope the other was arrested.

Good service, prices & stock. Nice waiting area, which even has popcorn!Les Schwab even sent their tire truck to rescue my wife and another family member, who were on a long trip. They saved the day. We are grateful.

Came in with a wheel that had loose/stripped lug nuts (quite scary), and was almost coming off. Jake and the guys here worked with us and found a great solution and got us back on the road in no time! I already was a Schwab customer, and this just proves that they re the best. Don t go to Discount!!!

Came to Susanville Les Schwab after getting verbal phone quote on the phone for $79.95 to get 4 new atv tires mounted on my 5 year olds Honda 4 wheeler. Thought i would give them a try.Upon arrival was told this service would be $117 and got a smart comment from gal behind the counter on bringing my own new tires in. I had requested oem spec tires from Les Schwab a month earlier and they told me they couldn't supply me that that size--didn't carry and couldn't order .Gave Les Schwab a try but will continue to use Carlsons for my personal and business service. Note no service was actually performed, just got the bait and switch these chain stores are known for.

We have been on a 3 week rd trip. We had a tire seperate on us. They were great at replacing our tire and balancing the others. So friendly and they even recommended and helped with directions of an rv park to stay in for the night. Top notch guys.

Probably the most incompetent folks that could work on your vehicle. I have been out of the tire business for 20 plus years and still have to tell them how to do their job. Absolutely do not have them work on your front end or suspension. You will be sorry I promise.

Chelton was a great help and very handsome. We had a plastic cover scraping on the floor and coming off. He was more than willing to stop his work and help. He got under our vehicle and pulled it off free of charge. He was very respectful, friendly and professional. We tried to give him a tip for his time but he refused, saying it was a pleasure. I will definitely come back and I absolutely recommend this place to anyone. This place has outstanding customer service. Thank you again chelton!

Had a 1pm appt for simple trip check. It is 1:40. They still haven't started. Car is in parking lot. I have a 4:00 appt. in Reno. waisted 59 miles to Susanville. They are now moving the car out of the parking lot. It is 1:53. Have to leave in 7 minutes.

I've always had the best service when I go to Les Schwab. The prices are good, but the service is always great. As soon as you pull in, they welcome you. Never had a problem, ever.

Incredible customer service here. Coming from Las Vegas where there is limited friendly customer service, this place was great. They had the odd trailer tire in stock for my 5th wheel trailer and were able to put a new tire on in less than an hour while they were noticably busy. Alicia was great on the phone and as a cashier, and Ron was helpful nice and very quick with the tire.
