I needed a repair for the vinyl upholstery on my car s driver side seat. I sent a photo to them, they gave me a quick and reasonable quote and my boyfriend brought the car in the next day. He said they were very pleasant to work with. The color doesn t perfectly match but I d specifically told them that doesn t matter much to me, and this vinyl feels sturdier than what came on the Outback. It s been a few months and the repair is holding up great!

I wish I could leave a more positive review because they seem like good guys that do good work. Unfortunately, I had a negative experience. I brought my seat in that needed the leather on the bolster replaced. I decided on a leather that matched the grain of my seats and I left a $200 deposit. Later, when I brought in my seat, they informed me that the leather was back ordered with no estimated ship date. So, I left and went to another upholstery shop. That shop had a leather in stock that matched perfectly. So, I went back to Vargas Upholstery to pick up my seat and get my deposit back. However, they refused to refund the entire deposit. They said that I had to pay for their time even though they hadn't ordered any material. It's shady business practice to not refund my deposit because I decided to use a different shop, especially when the material I want is on back order with no estimated ship date. They also never mentioned that the deposit wasn't refundable when I made the deposit.

I had a seat repaired on my car (leather replaced), they did a great job. I also bought seat covers and they without being requested actually put them on as a favor. I know they have been there 30+ years, I was happy with my transaction.Service: Upholstery repairService: Upholstery repair

I ordered a carpet kit for my 1969 Z/28 Camaro. I took the kit to Vargas for installation. They suggested I add a padding under the carpet for an additional charge. I agreed to use the padding and I'm glad I did. One day turn around. The whole interior looks like a brand new car with just a carpet change. Excellent work. Same day service. It was expensive but worth every penny for my classic muscle car. VERY PLEASED!Service: Classic car upholstery

Luis did an excellent job re-upholstering the front passenger seat on our car. He explained every decision clearly, tracked down the required model of the heating pad, gave accurate cost and time estimates. Will definitely come here if we have similar trouble again.

Brought the headliner on my cayman here to be recovered because the glue wore off and it was sagging. I removed the headliner and brought it to him. Good price, a 4 workday or so turnaround (he had to order the fabric), looks perfect upon picking it up. Excited to get it installed. Would do business with again.

Came in to have them look at my BMW seat and they stopped the squeak with some extra padding and weren t going to charge me! I still gave them 20 bucks because time and experience are worth it.

Over priced they wanted to charge me 400$ to recover a motor cycle seat that Craig's upholstery in Campbell is going to do now for 175$ I will never recommend Vargas upholstery to anyone.
