Johnny at the shop is a gem! He worked on my car's brakes, and I couldn't be happier. Not only did he fix them flawlessly, but he also did it at a great price. Johnny's kindness and sweet demeanor made the whole experience pleasant. Truly a skilled mechanic and an all-around good person. Highly recommend!

I had a great experience and would definitely go back.A few things that stood out about Johnny:- He just told me a fair price off the bat, no need to negotiate or shop around.- He's highly experienced and competent which meant the job was done quickly and right. I came in for my first oil change on a second hand car. Wherever the previous owner brought it overtightened the wrong drain bolt on making a simple job tricky, but Johnny just figured out how to fix it. I also picked up a few pointers from him specific to my model.- He's friendly and easy to talk to. I hope to see you on your yz250 some time Johnny!

Brought my car for brake pad replacement. After inspection, they told me that the pads had a good 30K miles left on them and refused to accept any compensation. Would recommend this shop to anyone looking for a professional, ethical mechanic!

Had a great experience at Sunnyvale Auto Tune. Took the vehicle in for an oil change and Jonny helped me out in diagnosing some issues that I had concerns with. Jonny is very knowledgeable, courteous and professional. Will be going back to keep my vehicle up to date on all services, thanks!

I would give this place a 0 if there is an option. When I asked the price of a oil change the owner becomes super sensitive. He teared my paperwork, pull my car out and say he wouldn t do it.

Took my car that had a check engine light on. Jonny was very professional and honest. The quote was reasonable, and quick. He ordered the spark plugs and coils the same day and installed them. My car is always taken care of. I ve been going here since they opened. I drive from Pittsburg to this location because I only trust him to take care of my car thoroughly. He definitely isn t making money off of me and helps me save while getting my car serviced properly. His rates are way lower than anyone in the area, plus he is honest in his work.

2 of the 5 bolts for my water pump were loose causing a different bolt to break off so now I have to spend all weekend removing a broken bolt from my engine block edit: I added pictures of the broken bolt next to what it s supposed to be since the shop owner wants you to believe i just have a leaky seal. Also it s standard practice to have the customer sign paperwork so they know customer supplied parts aren t warrantied

I had a great and efficient experience at Sunnyvale Auto Tune. Jonny was helpful, friendly, communicative, and responsive. I reached out for a quote on Monday night, and within 24 hours, my car battery was replaced. Jonny offered to run a free battery test and made clear that I wouldn't be obligated to purchase the replacement from him. He explained what was wrong with the car very clearly and respectfully, and he gave me a variety of options for a replacement based on price and warranty, even pointing out that I could upgrade from 2 to 3 years for just $10. Jonny kept me posted while we waited for the battery and was very quick to replace it. Overall, I felt very comfortable and informed throughout.Service: Auto battery replacement

called local Honda dealer and got an estimate for replacing my brakes. Then called around local independent shops and came across Sunnyvale Auto Tune on yelp and saw good reviews so I called the shop and he quoted me $200 less then the dealership. The owner even took the time to show me everything my car needs and explained to me what I need to do in the future and gave me some estimates and didn t try to sell me anything. The dealer told me I need some kind of filter he took the filter off and showed me that it s still clean and that I don t need to spend extra money right now. Over all great experience would recommend this shop to everyone who isn t trying to pay dealership prices.

all the bolts to my Gasket were loose after repairing, Do not recommend Dishonest mechanic , uses cheap parts also.

Found this shop just before the crazy California heat wave. Jonny is awesome! Was able to drop the car off to get my brakes and oil change done in a timely manner PLUS my A/C was acting kinda funky.. just mentioned it to him and he figured it out and fixed it! Great service. Jonny is nice, easy to schedule, and has good prices. He let me know my lug nuts were stripped (by someone else) so I could get new ones, and used oem transmission fluid when I had him change the fluid out. Hands down the best mechanic I ve been to. Called them with a few hours notice to get a car inspected before purchasing, showed up 30 minutes before they closed and my car was thoroughly inspected on a lift, driven around, everything you should do before buying a used car.They explained everything to me as they did the inspection, and recommended things to look out for. I took my car here for a 30k maintainence. Price was quite reasonable. Jonny was very honest and explained the conditions of my car. I decided to also change my brake pad based on his suggestions. This is a new shop which I happened to find through Yelp when I was getting competitive quotes. Jonny responded quickly with a reasonable quote and was able to fit me into his schedule on the same day. He quickly root caused my issue and saved me from doing a lot of unnecessary work.
